Just to let you guys know what I heard on possible target from my old boss the signing we are making could be eidur gudjohnsen he met him during a trip while he was wearing his rangers top and eidur came over and seemed interested in chat about club and history and said never know may see you soon he felt bit of tongue in cheek remark but not sure know. Before starting big argument it's just a bit on info I heard 🙈⚽.

Bookies have slashed the odds tho, they have been doing the same for years, linking players with clubs that have no interest, how people haven't clocked that escapes me.

Kenny, the boys nearly 38, I don't see this going anywhere. I never had him as an out and out goalscorer he's more a 10 for me and we have plenty who can play that role. Thanks for sharing thou.

Rangers would certainly be a good place to finish your career would it not. ? Another thing, it would take more than one fee fivers at 8/ 2 to encourage laddys to drop their odds, bookmakers have a gambling strategy you know, its not always as simple as some think
I said months ago that RVP was not an unlikely signing, mainly because of his closeness to other Dutch player who loved it here

Probably get shot down for this one but anyone actually feel a tad bad for Barton? Tell you my thinking behind it guys he has came into a new team and he is having to play a system which he gets little involvement in we are playing a completely different game than he is used to. Again I feel probably some will disagree but the last 10 minutes against xeltic when he had more of a free run I felt he seemed to play a bit better and he was one of the only ones who at least tried for full 90 minutes. I feel we should judge the guy at the end of the season.

Only reason I mentioned that is as painful as it was. I re-watched the game 😠and he did what was asked tactics wise he is not given the freedom that he was given at previous clubs, he needs someone like rossiter playing along side him and given a few game run with both of them, I mean don't forget guys this is a team of loads of new players which have only had a few competitive games under their belts. Ask said give it to January till we lose the plot with them ⚽.

Sorry but Barton isn't the type of player you give freedom to, its not gascoigne we're talking abt. he's got limited ability and that's being kind. he's not a sitting midfielder and he's certainlly not an att midfielder so i don't really no were that leaves him tbh.

Just like most other fans I have been wondering about letting all these young talents leave but more I think about it if that had been me in their position when we got unjustly send down to lower leagues I would have bust a gut to get into first team and nail my place down and work harder than I ever would have before but seems to me these guys are just typical football players that we see nowadays, don't seem bothered about the history of the team they play for or what it actually means to play for the Jersey. It sickens me to see us have to miss out bringing in Scottish talent but it just looks like most of these young lads from England are hungrier for success or seem to have more ambition. May be wrong but I feel most of these youngsters had their chance and frankly they blew it and to be honest considering they were full timers in a part time league for years showed no real difference in class. If I was to sum it up looks like down your attitude and not showing the respect needed to pulling a rangers jersey. Let's see what the new lads bring to the academy!

Kenny, u agree with u in part. This is the problem with Scottish football that bigger teams are afraid to give youth a chance. The younger players we have signed from down south will simply put on a good show for us to win a move to a bigger team (financially) down south. When we went down we should have fielded mostly our young players rather than signing what we did on the wages we did and we would have had a chance of getting up the leagues and not open up a black hole again. It was only a few years ago Celtic had £30m debts tho and as far as I am aware they debts are gone so hopefully we can do the same.

You guys will never believe this but just heading back from work tonight and pulled into a service station and guess who pulls in next to me? . Davie Weir! He was driving a people carrier and Van Persie was in front seat then behind him sat Lescott and garner and senderos then behind them were Christopher Samba and mariappa and the hat squashed in the corner. All I could hear was versus of simply the best ringing out! Who knows where they were heading but they looked like they were in a hurry ⚽🤔.

Anyone else feel club may be missing a trick with the strip catastrophe I feel would have been wise to get big push on supporters groups strips and got big push on fans buying a pretty decent top (I know we couldn't use certain things through copyright) because at least we could have got some money put back into club without fans just sitting waiting to see what happens. Is there nothing else that can be done like this?

Still think it would be amazing for our squad to throw the tops into the stands home and away ALL season, the media coverage would be top, also for the kids in the disabled section, sort them out first! Reckon it would cost the club anything between 40k-50k but would be worth letting all know far and wide what that fat man is doing to the club and its supporters who have no chance of buying a top! What's your thoughts Bears?

I keep looking at all these comments and think yeah we could have lost 3 goals against motherwell but we didn't that's just how football is it could be the same for even a team like Barcelona the could be riding their luck then next thing they are 3 up and nobody blinks an eye but with us we always focus on the negatives. I mean take Burnley there is a team that have been together for ages fully working as a unit as they have all been playing in same team with very little additional players added and then we play them with quite a few additional players and we ate trying out new roles and players in positions and yet we are all on here thinking it's brutal to watch and focused on how poor certain players were rather than focusing on how well certain players played after only a FEW games together. I for one think we will have a successful season and we will have a top 3 finish at least which I will be delighted with after watching years of a major rebuild! Onwards and upwards fellow bears!
