Daily Rebel Reporting the following out with transfer prices.

McKay
Garner
Waghorn
Windass
Crooks
Tavernier
O"Halloran
Keirnan
Forrester

Aparently a list was sent to English clubs along with price list.

1.) 24 May 2017 07:00:53
How is halliday and Holt not on that list lightweights

2.) 24 May 2017 07:26:15
Find that strange considering windass had more game time than halliday under pedro! Pure speculation

3.) 24 May 2017 07:28:36
Crooks winds both 150k each

Tav 1.25m

Waggy 400k

McKay 2m

And Keirnan Forrester both in a free

4.) 24 May 2017 08:07:57
It's a load of bollocks if you ask me. Pedro has stated he wants Mckay to stay. He has said he'll be using Garner to his strengths next year. He is keeping Hodson yet gave Tav all the game time? Plays Windass almost every game and tells him he can leave? Holt and Halliday are staying? The Rhebel are putting out Keirnan. McKay was leaving for 750k-1mil just last week.

5.) 24 May 2017 08:15:46
Why are holt, Halliday and dodoo not in that list?

6.) 24 May 2017 08:23:11
Whats everyone's thoughts on the rumours McKay is leaving in the summer? Arguably one of the best prospects we have produced and on his day unplayable. Yes he can be inconsistent at times, but he is still young. I think selling him for around £1m would be a big mistake.

7.) 24 May 2017 08:26:14
I find it very strange that Halliday is not on that list. He was one of the worst performers at the club; right down there with Kiernan. If Pedro is looking to bring in players and thinks Halliday is quality then I hate to think what we will end up with!

I also wonder whether King's comments are serious because with all those players on the list to be replaced we will need the £13m from season ticket sales + what we can secure from selling those players mentioned + more, just to replace them with slightly better quality.

Sorry but it all smells to me, like another con job!

8.) 24 May 2017 08:32:32
Ed, that was genius changing the word I had put to Kiernan.

{Ed001's Note - thank you.}

9.) 24 May 2017 09:02:24
This is utter nonsense by a paper struggling to fill the back pages, as the only story anyone is ever interested in is the Rangers. Garner, Tav and Windass have been told they are part of Pedro's plans next term (Tav likely to be utilised in midfield)

10.) 24 May 2017 09:41:14
Paper talk nonsense! Halliday would be first out door! He's meant to be rangers man ( honestly) rangers men would have stood up and been counted in a team like this season but he hid from the responsibility, because let's be honest that's why he was brought in the first place because he was rangers man

11.) 24 May 2017 10:06:19
What the Record are really saying that if the right offer comes in any player can go. Expect a few to go to Notts Forest. and a few mid-lower league clubs would snap up a few of the others as basically that's the level they are. Windass is a funny one. His pace and movement is superb but his end product is abysmal. But you have to remember only a year or 2 ago Arsenal and other EPL Clubs were interested in him (reported in the media btw) so he must av something. Reckon he'd go to a decent championship side for a good few bob if we sell him

12.) 24 May 2017 10:07:06
And enough, with the mckay still young tosh. He's been in the first team for 4 years, albeit on loan a couple of times (wasn't even getting a game there every week! )
He is doing the same now as 4 years ago, going past defenders, occasionally! !, scoring a goal occasionally but far too often posted missing
get rid

13.) 24 May 2017 10:18:33
Bil72, McKay is a winger, tell me a winger out there that isn't world class and performs week in week out. Even Davie Cooper was inconsistent (No I am not comparing their abilities)

14.) 24 May 2017 11:00:11
How can crooks be on a transfer list? Is he not out for 9 months with an ACL injury?

15.) 24 May 2017 11:20:24
Mackay would be a great player with good players round about him. Just like Coops was. Coops was my hero and best player i ever saw in a Rangers shirt, but in the early 80s. when we were worse than we are at the minute Coops was poor on a regular basis. the odd cracking game like cup final replay in 81.but quite often he wasnt interested. it was only when Souness came with better players he started to flourish again. quite often mackay beats a man then looks up and there is no one in the box. He needs supporr to flourish.

16.) 24 May 2017 11:21:26
Onlyshow, I think he is very consistent. He's doing the same now as he was when Fraser Aird was on the other wing. He has not in my opinion improved any. once teams flood the midfield and double up on him he goes missing. Even 1 on 1 with speed he seldom does anything constructive.
He has had his chance to kick on, he hasn't taken it.

17.) 24 May 2017 11:47:06
I see the supposed leak has been plugged successfully then.

18.) 24 May 2017 11:48:55
Chinabairn, although we weren't exactly great in the early 80s, I am not sure if we were worse than now. Currently reading Ian Redford's book, and as he points out, at that time Aberdeen, Celtic and Dundee Utd were relatively strong and each won the league at least once. We won a fair few cups in that time, we just didn't have endurance for long league campaigns.

We certainly had better players in the day. Cooper, Bett, Russell and Redford for instance. We also had a few too many older players, but at the time, Rangers were offering less money than the other clubs around them. The reason Wallace left after his 2nd treble was due to funding.

19.) 24 May 2017 12:33:04
just2see, We haven't if you believe the media. Which personally I do not. Caixinha has stated he wants to keep McKay and Garner yet they are on the list? What's that I smell?

20.) 24 May 2017 14:20:16
There were better players at Rangers back in the eighties than we have now. Guys like Redford were significantly better than guys like Halliday and Holt

21.) 24 May 2017 16:04:29
Possibly a wee ploy by Pedro to confirm who leak is, mention the list of names and fees to suspected leak and see if they run to the Rhebel.

22.) 24 May 2017 19:58:31
Redford god rest his soul was garbage. As was Gordon Dalziel John Mcdonald sandy clark dave mitchell an old Forsyth n Jackson n Mcclean. Mcloy Jim Stewart hugh burns alex miller gregor stevens and a fat derek johnstone craig patterson. list is endless. either past it or just mince. only had the odd good un. Bett Prytz Mclelland Coops mcminn at times and once in a while the young coisty. I don't know what age u guys are but i saw it close up and overall we were garbage.

23.) 25 May 2017 07:33:51
Joe Dodoo has to go on that list, never cut it at Rangers

24.) 25 May 2017 11:00:40
listen wingers and strikers thrive on confidence and if we are being beat and inconsistant every week then they will be the same but in a good team with a solid backbone i think our more talented players like mckay can turn their careers around i mean look at james forrest last year would hardly have got a game for hibs but this year he has been electric and that's all to do with confidence and brenda's man management skills.

hopefully pedro can do the same with our youth

25.) 25 May 2017 11:07:07
Onlyshow - the very point I have been making for ages. Thank you

26.) 25 May 2017 11:58:16
if these are the true amounts that the club are wanting then we are undervaluing some of them in my opinion we should be requesting 2 million for garner and tavenier with sell on percentage for tavenier and mackay should be sold for nothing less than 3 million with sell on josh windass at least 1 million the rest i would sell for small fees or release

Rangers will receive an enormous investment of funds within the next two month. Not just DK but other international investors. This is on the proviso that two thirds is directly invested into the player pool. If the amounts I have heard are valid, which I have no reason to doubt expect some big names to be joining rangers next season. The other third of the investment will easily be sufficient to cover the journey back to European football. I did post that this would happen a while back on this site

Ozzie Al

1.) @op we won't need to buy anybody next season the squad is sufficient enough to take us to the top league so surely any sort of investment on players would be better spent in 2 seasons time surely anybody wanting to invest in the club/team would think so

2.) Hasn t happened yet Al. Would be a massive mistake to throw money in at the moment. The club needs to be grabbed by the scruff of the neck and shaken vigorously. Hopefully the hangers on will all fall away.

3.) If serious money is indeed put into a player's pool then I would surmise that it would not necessarily have to be spent straight away and instead be allowed to grow with the manager dipping in and out when required and only using completely when we reach the top tier. I agree with the OP (at least hope) that large investment is on the horizon and is just waiting until the current board is ousted and the new ones in place before going forward. It will be a great day when we can start getting fully behind the team again without having a sidewards glance of suspicion as to what is happening elsewhere.

4.) Ozzie we had an enormous amount of funds. we don't need millions to get to top league? why would we. we need millions to get into Europe. and stay there. year in year out? our season ticket money won't bankroll the players you think we need? big investors with no brains if thye thinking to make money. or have they money to waste. as Green and co proved we are a cash cow ,, milk milk milk.

5.) Let the enormous sums of money flow and get all said big name players for D1. wasnt it madness like this that put the old rangers into this mess? why can't fans just be happy with seasoned pros going through the leagues?
personally I would love to see the rangers spend millions upon millions of pounds to try to win each diivision and make it back to play Celtic again. but at the end of the day, the costs and wages will probably bankrupt you. AGAIN.

6.) @ OP I hope no money goes to the squad if you are correct. I hope some is used to develop a completely new strategic plan that will drastically reduce costs and radically improve income because we are years away from champions league football. Yes we will get there eventually. Yes we will enter the CL as champions of Scotland again but we do not need any new players until we get to the Premier League but how about developing our own? Don't we have a facility specifically designed for that?

JG, Bir Ram, OCRSC, steer pike, cooper boy and Frazer K. Keep up the good work I have not posted for a long time and have gave this site a body swerve due to the negative comments of the pseudo rangers fans who are so negative in their outlooks.

Sure everyone is entitled to an opinion but when they are just complaining for the sake of complaining it wears a little thin.

Anyway good to hear some sensible input from people who true lily have the club at heart. Those calling for a boycott of season tickets will do more harm than good.

Best wishes to all and Ed

Got to agree with wee bill too much negativity even from the Gers men. I used to come on this site a lot but got fed up with all the doom and gloomers and Ally bashers. No positive posts even when we have been getting some excellent results and making progress the board will sort itself out. I long for the days when this site gets back to football and leaves the business and politics to the men that are in a position to do something about it

Talking about papers. No storey in the Record about the forces day result. I wonder why? It does not fit their agenda, although they were one of the first to report it. Do not believe anything you read in that rag
