2 things for you this morning. Rangers to bring in another player, Free Agent before the end of the week, whisper in the wind it is Chris Eagles, another said it a deal to the end of the season for Lovenkrands.

2. King has called a press conference tomorrow to outline his plans for the club if succesfull at the EGM. My sources say he has agreed investment with some wealthy men to fund Rangers back to the top, his plans include Foresnic audit of contracts and accounts, the appointment of Delix MCGath as head of development at Murray Park, the intention to bring in a forward thinking manager (believed to be McIness he is interested in). £6M in the summer to strengthen the playing sqaud. A supporters board appointment to the club board. A former Rangers legend to be replace chairman of the football board to replace Sandy Easedale (believed to be Richard Gough).

1.) 04 Feb 2015 09:58:11
We can forget all this nonsense about derek mcinnes coming in, it ain't going to happen. As for spending £6m in the summer (if of course dave king gets control) let's be honest it will take a vast amount more to get us up competing for the title next season, although I doubt we will premoted this season!

2.) 04 Feb 2015 12:43:39
David c
Do you think Derek McInnes would turn down the chance to be Rangers manager? My sources tell me he would jump at the chance! He is a Rangers man, and even with all the crap going on in and around the club, if there was a light at the end of the tunnel (ie the boardroom was getting overhauled with the club getting the right people in charge), I think he would jump at the chance. And 6 million at the moment would be a great start. Remember the other lot aren't exactly spending big style

3.) 04 Feb 2015 15:57:51
David C, you can build a team on £6M I don't think McIness has pent as much as this puting together a good Aberdeen side. Some Savy free agent signings, pre contracts exc. It funding wages it the issue. Anyway I have heard were signing Eagles tomorrow.

4.) 04 Feb 2015 16:24:01
personally, i'd prefer it to be lovenkrands.

5.) 04 Feb 2015 18:42:22
When are people going to wake up and get there heads out of the sand.
If King gets in witch I very much doubt he will have to try and get Ashley out of the boardroom witch will not be as easy as some people think.
Ashley has full say at the Club right now and unless King and his merry men have a sack full of Money Ashley is going nowhere soon.

6.) 04 Feb 2015 20:09:00
Gnw 2012
Ashley is not in the boardroom he is a shareholder, it's his puppets on the board that king an co are trying to oust. Incidentally why do you doubt this is possible?

7.) 04 Feb 2015 22:31:18
Eagles was offered more than £12,000-per-week by Rangers in 2010 but he wanted significantly more. Now no other team wants him he's ready to play for Rangers. More wages for a sh*te player

8.) 05 Feb 2015 19:36:37
Weepieman,
The reason I doubt this is because I unlike other people I live in the real world and that Ashley is more the capable of dealing with a other crook like King and company.
If King and his pals were really Rangers men WHY wait till now to try and save a sinking ship they should have done it 3 years ago before Liquidation and stop all this nonsense

McDowell resigned after learning of the bords plans to agree to bring in up to 6 Newcastle fringe and youths to his sqaud without any say on the matter. He was also told that he would expect to play the loanees, McDowell told the board it makes his position untenable, that he is not happy with the board making team selections or bringing in player without his input. Strong rumour we are paying Mike a pay as you play on each player, effectivley we are using Mikes loan to pay Mike Ashley so he can pay their Newcastle wages.

PennyArcade

1.) 03 Feb 2015 12:34:10
Ya he'd rather play wasters like black, foster,Hutton, mcculloch and Miller! If he wasn't happy why did he not just go, instead of hanging about like a bad smell collecting his salary, let's not paint mcdowall as some sort of hero and that he resigned over some sort of principle! Those 5 youngsters should walk in to are team after Sundays debacle!

2.) 03 Feb 2015 12:57:34
Surely if he was so disgusted by the loans, he would have actually resigned, rather than handing in his 12 months notice?

I think it's pretty obvious that the man quite for the simple reason that he has had enough, and who can blame him. The whole club is a mess from top to bottom.

These 5 players are welcome additions to a squad who have lost their heart and are struggling but the signings raise so many more questions than answers.

3.) 03 Feb 2015 15:30:52
not much point in bringi!g in these lads and having Allys proxy picking team and deciding what tactics we are playing. I say that as nothing has changed since the swapover not will it. they should have brought in a young hungry man with some tactical nous.

4.) 03 Feb 2015 20:54:37
Quiet frankly the young lads that have come up will hopefully be of a far better standard that the dross that call themselves Rangers players at present

5.) 03 Feb 2015 22:32:41
Hear hear could not be any worse! I am still optimistic for mike Ashley, let's be honest there's only 291 richer people in the world than him.

6.) 03 Feb 2015 22:23:12
Gnw2012. The only reason these loaners came here is because no club in England would entertain them, reason being they are injury prone, good players no doubt ,but it's like waring a wrist watch that doesn't work, pointless.

7.) 04 Feb 2015 06:37:07
These players are young, hungry and eager to prove something. None of that can be said about any of our current players at the moment. Our squad needed refreshing, it needed younger bodies, and it needed it all over the pitch. Hopefully we'll not be seeing Smith, Black, Foster or Hutton in the team as much now, to name a few.

29 Jan 2015 16:07:38
RYAN FINNIE - Rangers have released the player on mutual basis. He has signed for Partick Thistle until the end of the season. McCoist brought him in Hamilton a year ago. Another good youth sold down the river. Shame on you Somers, Easedale.

PennyArcade

1.) 29 Jan 2015 19:15:18
He left because he didn't think he would get a chance in first team! There's a lot of things that are boards fault but this isn't one of them, get a grip!

{Ed039's Note - Correct, young boys are there, its not the board that dont pick them to play)

23 Jan 2015 09:18:07
There is a rumour going around that Kenny Miller and Lee McCulloch were at fist to cuffs in training yesterday and McDowell has threatned to bench them both.

PennyArcade

1.) 23 Jan 2015 09:48:52
we can only hope and pray for this

2.) 23 Jan 2015 18:07:57
It wouldn't surprise me if this happened,I would get rid of both of them anyway they are finished as first team regulars

3.) 23 Jan 2015 22:06:12
Who won the fight? Did sim monsoon have a bet on it,get rid of the keeper he is as handy as a fart in a spacesoot .

23 Jan 2015 08:52:35
Allegedly margarita and blue pitch already hold security over Ibrox Ashley is attempting to smoke them out. dave king will be in for a shock if they get their wish for a forensic look under the bonnet. Bomber was right from the start.

PennyArcade

1.) 23 Jan 2015 13:39:32
They are NOT on any form of security as this would have instantly stoped Ashleys application as you cannot double security hold an asset

Your alledged information is a wrong

i am george

2.) 23 Jan 2015 20:52:29
I think the 1 am george is mistaken. If the value of property can cover both security applicatiions the first application then has "first call" in the event of a call to recover the debt. In other words if you give a loan of £1 against an assett of £5 then you can then use the remaining £4 as security for a further loan.

3.) 24 Jan 2015 11:27:35
Penny arcade I think you have been smoking out, well smoking something lol.

4.) 27 Jan 2015 17:37:59
There would a simple way to check if any security over ibrox stadium and that's a Land registry search, this falls within the capability of any half decent journalist. There won't be any prior charges as this would surely have already been discosed

Rangers keeper Steve Simonsen has been banned for two games after being found guilty of betting on 55 games following a hearing before an independent panel. On better news Cammy Bell is back to full training.

PennyArcade

1.) 12 Feb 2015 14:38:52
Two match ban scandalous should of been ten seems the sfa are trying to punish Rangers fans fortunately it would appear Bell is fit again and hopefully we won't see the man doing nets for us again.

2.) Worst keeper since Nicky Walker. They should have banned him outright.

3.) 12 Feb 2015 15:35:34
Simonsen and McCulloch banned for the Hibs game, Oh well looks like we my have a chance in winning this one.

The Eastenders will think it's all due to a bias SFA

4.) Appeal it ask for ten

5.) He was recommended by Bomber he should be banned as well lol

6.) Simonsen ban is a bonus to us he could, nt catch a cold we have always had great keepers as far as I can remember would pay good money to see him go

7.) Maybe we could get Ricky Foster banned for the rest of the season

8.) Maybe support the players instead of ridiculing then at every opportunity! Steve simonson has save rangers a lot more times than he has let us down. And Ricky foster and Lee mcculloch at time look like the only players interested! Am sure they are not delibrately playing badly.

9.) No 8, very true, and let's be honest McCullough has always been an average player

10.) Ceexxx I don't think they are playing badly intentionally, I think they are playing badly because they are too old, there auld tired legs can't last the pace against there younger opponents.if games were played at walking pace they would do okay, but unfortunately for us it's a young mans game.

09 Feb 2015 19:50:14
EGM venue pull plug

PennyArcade

1.) To the present board have it in Ibrox and save the club money or do the right thing and walk away please

2.) Wee alex. That's to sensible an option for this board.

3.) Can't have it at home as us fans ( life blood of the club) are to intimidating & want THE REAL IMPORTANT Questions Answered) so they fear for there safety!!!Saying that Charlie Chuckles had to hide out in a safe house, Whyte in hiding & I hope Murray's in a cave somwhere (in reality all 3 will be sitting back, feet up with healthy bank accounts & not a care in the world!).

4.) N3. Aye for now, they won't to so comfy when signing for there charge sheets, lol.

09 Feb 2015 16:54:17
Could Peter Lawell's influence be vital to King's attempt to take over. Lawell will never publicly show anything to upset Celtic fans, but Lawell knows Celtic are weak without Rangers and together both clubs have greater say in the way money is divided. Peter Lawell strikes me of "a better devil you know" kind of guy. I think privatley he will be concerned at the prospect of Rangers likely not returning to the SPL premiere next season and knows their is still a thirst from fans for Old Firm fans. It is undoubted Lawell holds massive infludence at the SFA, I believe all the blazers will look to accomodate king to end the only concentration of the scottish game of how badly Rangers are being run. The SFA will more likely deal with the Devil they know than risk more faceless investors or Mike Ashleys defiance to stick to agreements.

PennyArcade

1.) Was listening to Clyde on way home. guy came on saying Ashley was wanting to put rangers into admin and that he's already spoke to three admin people, any info on this

2.) 09 Feb 2015 19:44:41
Impossible with funding offers available no administration event can be signed off. An EGM being called also blocks the same.

3.) Can't see how a judge could possibly grant administration seeing as we have several people in the wings willing to invest!

4.) There will be rumour after rumour until the EGM actually takes place. Whether you want to believe them or see how things pan out, is up to each individual. I would not put anything past this crowd of shysters. Every dirty trick in the book will be used. By the time they are finished, a new book may have to be written. Get them tae.

28 Jan 2015 11:50:24
Clubs fan board have given the board an official vote of no confidence. Statement on their FB page.

PennyArcade

1.) Don't really know the point of the fans board? If they had any sense they would all leave it's as pointless an exercise as these people that put the stupid article on the Hearld on Sunday

http://sport.stv.tv/football/307961-mike-ashley-and-rangers-dual-interest-hearing-postponed-by-scottish-fa/?

Scottish FA have postponed tomorrows hearing. This is a joke! What about the fans? More Limbo!. SFA not fit for purpose.

PennyArcade

1.) 26 Jan 2015 17:07:40
Think they've agreed to a telephone conference m8, just wish they'd tell us who money they're taking, we probably know that already, hope sarver is still interested though!

Would take Solksjaer in a heart beat, although his Cardiff time was rough his team did put together good passing football they just couldn't see out results or score enough goals. But what I liked most was he is gutsy he speaks his mind.

PennyArcade

{Ed001's Note - I could introduce you to a lot of fans at Cardiff that would disagree about the words good and football being involved in any description of Ole's time there.....}

I would love a Butcher and McCall partnership. Butcher got a bum deal at Hibs, what he did at Motherwell 2005 Scottish League Cup final, and then Inverness was astonishing 09/2010 season By the end of March, Butcher had guided his team from 16 points behind league leaders Dundee, to 4 points ahead and top of the Scottish First Division. As part of the push for promotion in 2009/10, ICT went on an unbeaten away run in the league that continued through the entire 2010 calendar year, culminating in a 1-1 draw against Hearts at Tynecastle on 18 December. In 2012/13 season Butcher received a Manager of a month award for a second time in November, he led Calley to a second place by Christmas. Butcher has put winning sides together on peanuts. Butchers is the man we need.

Sorry BIGWULL but your post is wishful thinking, with an EGM only weeks away this board will do nothing. They defo won't put McDowell on leave because they just don't care they know their getting the boot, their desperate announcement on RNS to the stock exchange attacking King and hosting the EGM in London is a clear sign their struggling and going to extraordinary length to cheat us all of change. This can never be forgotten. I have sent my letter of complaint to Andrew Kendrick, who is David Somers boss at Ace Life asking why a man who shows such poor acumen and governance can represent the Ace Life board and allow his actions to drag their good company name in to the media spotlight.

Hi I don't want Ashley bringing in his players just because where it leaves us if he looses the EGM he will pull them straight back out. But as for Weepieman's comments its wide of the mark, we are talking about senior team fringe players not youths. Ray Gooding discovered birgirmana the same man who discovered Sturridge and rates him just as highly. So there you go mate just ebcause you don't know who he is does not eman the rest of us don't.

Some of you are unbelievable, Dave King is not even sitting on the board as executive, Paul Murray is chairman and he Douglas Park and John Bennett are in charge. In a few days they have rid the club of the croonies, held discussions with Magath about the future and arranged for an interim coach to come in. ITS NOT EVEN BEEN A WEEK! stop being glory hunter and understand this is a long road and the board needs time.

He sent a tweet to a readical muslim cleric with a picture of the Prophet Mohamed tossing off JaJa Binx from Star Wars. And wrote "if you didn't like the last one, your going to hate this one". This was on je suis Charlie. I am not a Chris Graham fan he doe snot speak for me. However 1 Millions people took to the street of Paris to say free speech not racism. James Cook from the BBC trawled over Chris's Twitter account for anything he could to stick it to him, the two have history over the BBC's stories over the club in particular Jack Irvines leaks to BBC's Chris Mclaughlin. Cook and Graham have conversed with harsh words on twitter for some time. Cook has somewhat of a score to settle with him. Again not a Graham fan only sharing what I have witnessed on twitter.

Hes alligned to Brian Kennedys though, can't see Souness wanting the job, one where there is no boudget. He does not have a history of bringing through youth, he is a spender like Walter he needs funds to build a team. We need to look at united and Aberdeen young team put together for less than £8M with a minimal wage bill who within a few seasons could go all the way. If it was'nt for his unwashed past I would consider McNamara who I thinks proving to be an excellent manager and shrewd operator.

Oh yeah souness mo wait "Souness then returned to England to manage Southampton, but after one season he resigned, citing differences with chairman Rupert Lowe. Souness is perhaps best remembered at Southampton for signing Senegalese player Ali Dia, supposedly on the recommendation of former FIFA World Player of the Year and former Liberian striker George Weah. Souness did not check any of Dia's supposed credentials, and this subsequently proved to be a hoax, instigated by Dia's agent (who had made the initial call). When Dia played his only game in the Premier League as a substitute for Matt Le Tissier, he performed amazingly poorly, and was later substituted himself after only 20 minutes on the field" You still want Souness?

PennyArcade

{Ed001's Note - I have sat through a Souness explanation on this one, he admits he was completely duped over the phone. I think he has learnt his lesson and would never sign a player without checking them out again.}
