another 3 points. dunbarton parked the bus and i pretty much think this is how its going to be when we go away from home with lesser teams. they seen what we can do from open play. another shocking referee performance dumbarton and there 5-5-1 we trying to thread balls and dunbarton hoofing.

Never heard of a 5 5 1. Brilliant post

2.) 19 Sep 2015 23:21:21
Rhw1962 these smaller teams look at it if they go down on goal difference, that one less goal conceded to us could have saved them, that's the simple mathematics of it mate.

3.) 19 Sep 2015 20:12:42
seriously rhw1962 stop yer moaning. of course dumbarton are going to defend do you expect them to open up and get hammered i don't think so. the main thing about today is we won without playing well and that's what you need to do. think of the hard nights we are going to have in mid winter and your going to expect silky football get a reality check. anyway ed what's your opinion of how mark warburton is doing we very rarely hear from you.

{Ed039's Note - He has done a cracking job so far, he has changed the whole mentality of the football side and has only just scratched the surface, we havent really been tested yet but all the signs are positive)

4.) 20 Sep 2015 17:49:50
thanks ed i just come on here and am disgusted at people not happy with a 2-1 win they always find some reason to gripe. take the points about referee's yes they make bad decisions but this happens week in week out in every form of football be it epl or amateur football. every referee will always make at least one bad decision a game they are human beings what we ask is that the big calls are made correctly and sometimes this happens other it dosen't that is why i love the game of football. anyway for me warburton is doing wonders but it will be a real test of character on tuesday night v st johnstone. on another point what a big result today for aberdeen to go to hearts and dominate like they did shows that they are going to push celtic all the way this season and last season if you take away aberdeens 4 defeats to celtic they only dropped 5 other points all season. that is remarkable. anyway rant over and hope your all having a good weekend.

{Ed039's Note - I wouldnt say Aberdeen dominated today, not that I seen the game either, but the stats seem to be in Hearts favour, Aberdeen were just more ruthless than Hearts, but I dont really care right enough)

5.) 20 Sep 2015 19:52:33
jamesreilly do you actually mean they lost another 5 games? And did you forget (or ignore) that they drew a further 6. So taking their Celtic games completely out of the equation they played 34, won 23, drew 6 lost 5. It's good but I think your "remarkable" is stretching it. Celtic including Aberdeen went 29-5-4, comparative goal differences Celtic +67 Aberdeen +24. It's sounding less remarkable by the minute to be honest.

6.) 20 Sep 2015 13:30:58
martybhoy78 youve never heard of 5-5-1 nether had i til i watched this game but on happier note hearts only managed 0-0 first time here last season i do think the refereeing standards is poor that's not to say they didn't deserve there penalty what was wilson thinking!!!

I would like to start a thread about davie weir and his influence on this team. I remember a very good manager in Brian clough and his assistant Peter Taylor.Peter who never really got the applause he deserved they had a bit of a spat and fell out both were never the same again

Sorry ed hit the send button by mistake what I'm trying to say is I think as a unit this management team is better than the some of there parts

2.) 14 Sep 2015 18:28:33
In Weir we trust

KT

ps You are spot on tactics, training, discipline, organising defence and deciding on the types of players we sign for their team. It is more than a one man job, throw in Weir's experience in Scotland and in particular at Rangers he can keep Warburton up to spec on things only a Rangers veteran would know.

Just a thought Had a look at that young Northern Ireland lad Dallas would be an ideal signing had a very good game last night quick and good feet and brave thoughts

RHW1962

{Ed001's Note - didn't he join Leeds United in the summer?}

1.) 08 Sep 2015 15:33:18
Yes just moved from Bournemouth good player he is

2.) 08 Sep 2015 15:34:47
ed001 most players belong to one team or another

3.) 08 Sep 2015 16:42:01
He was linked with us during summer because of his connection with Warburton at Brentford I stated then he would be an excellent signing but nothing materialised. I rate him highly having watched him in the irish league and for northern ireland.

4.) 08 Sep 2015 17:09:27
Stand corrected moved from Brentford

just being reading a pollabout warburtons best signing and the best reply for me is. This kind of poll is the opposite of Warburtons philosophy. We are the Borg, the collective, and anything other is divisive I have to agree. The rate, the class and the way they want to entertain us and work for each other is magical.

Another poor referee performance I was going to say shocking but I'm really not surprised. standard of refereeing needs sorting

Very poor decisions, not only against Rangers, but both ways.

2.) 20 Aug 2015 09:02:12
he has looked a poor ref for a few years now. Seems to make decisions based on the reaction of fans and other players

Tim what was your record against Aberdeen last year would you say your playing with the same skill pace etc Because I don't.I have watched a number of celtic games I would say this is the worst team in a lot of years as for the 10-0 brigade I think the average score in this league will be 4-0 but if they up there game and take there chances could happen as for Livingston I understand there tactics blocking kicking players etc but I'm sure Warburton aware that's what is going to happen. when players have an inquest after a 3-0 win with 66% position player apologising on twitter for letting standard slip I'm a very happy bear
