Lad a used to train is best mates with Scott Allan. Said he has no intentions of leaving hibs until end of contract. For any other signings from Scotland is quiet. MW focused his attention on young players predominately from 2nd and 3rd tear of English football. And one or two youth players from top tier. Money signings Most likely to be like the signings already been made. E.g 220,000 KIERNAN. Lot of loans likely.
personally I think we need a right back. Playmaker. 2 decent strikers. And a few extra players to bolster squad like loan signings. With an option to buy if made an impact.

What a load of bull. The scott allan saga will be decided if the clubs can reach a fee. Are you seriously saying that if rangers had a bid accepted, scott allan would knock us back? Not a chance. I think you are best to stop listening to a "lad a used to train" or just stop making things up.

Bleuranger. All seriousness here. Do you think Scott Allan is worth the amount that's been spoken about surrounding his fees. Some rangers fans don't understand that we can't simply go around splashing out money for overrated players. Have to be clever with signings and money. Why MW was introduced to begin with.

Not upto Stubbs at all Baxter. End of the day as Gardner1965 says rangers won't spend anywhere near 1 million on 1 player. When they could sign 5/6 players for that. King coming in does not mean rangers have MAJOR transfer funds. Think MW is a good appointment and for the first time in years feel excited about the season ahead. I never once mentioned that I thought a 1m price tag is fair. Scoutexcluse17, you seem to take paper talk and rumour as fact. You have basically admitted allan will sign if the clubs can decide on a fee.

Was at the game last night, and with the comments on this overall mixed feelings from most fans. Tempo dropped second half expect that tho. But overall ball recession was generally pretty good I know you can't be that crucial due to it being a pre season friendly but that Burnley side are by far better than any team in our league this year. Hibs without Allen are nothing. No doubt better looking than last season as it wouldn't be hard due to last years squad being full of absolute garbage, too put it nicely. Personally think we need a few flair players. Playmaker behind the striker or a couple of tricky wingers. Don't think templeton aird McKay Walsh have got that spark even at this level never mind premier league. Big striker also needed in my opinion.

Wigans tavernier and waghorn both having Medicals with rangers today. Should be announced as signings by the end of the day. Holt deal basically done. Hearts just holding back on a fee due to not knowing if he's required in their squad next season. Mays agent is wanting a loan deal. Year back up to recover lost form due to not much game time. To return down south feels may should try further career in long run down south, Aberdeen also interested.
Would like to know everyone's overall opinion on the new sighnings. Mixed view overall I've gathered. But what's the feeling on here? Personally think a playmaker and another winger is badly needed.

Have seen neither and neither has any kind of pedigree but hopefully MW has a nose for a player and can sniff out a value for money player.
Saying that with the money we are spending there will likely be failures but overall with some good management I predict more will shine.

Personally think MW is going about his business well. Unlike mccoist. Start with the fundamentals. And was screaming out for long enough that our back four was a sham. Starting from the back should be the first thing any manager should deal with. People moaning about strikers and stuff. More pressing matters that have to get dealt with which I think he has done.

No doubt we do need more players and hopefully Allen Lewis McLeod and the lad from spurs and afew players do come in. Gers going to train at spurs training ground. Could involve in a few players being sent to Gers on loan. Think positive. Too many people write off players to fast. Specially at a club like ours with its stature and prestige. It's always going to be an issue. And isn't going to change overnight. Sorry for the long post just think for the first time in years something at Ibrox is getting done the right way.

I am missing the Allen thing. Is he not at the same place Clark and the late David Templeton were at a couple of season ago before we took them on (and possibly ruined them)?

Agree with you DEEB end of the day they get a better chance to prove themselves at smaller clubs. Fair enough. To many rangers fans want things to happen overnight. Needs freshed up. Allen proved it against rangers and in the championship last season. To be brutally honest anythings better than what we had last season. Scott Allen is a young playmaker. Not his biggest fan. But any rangers fan would agree he's better than the rubbish we put up with last year.

Need to be patient lads. Most likely start to see signings the closer we get to the start of the season. Ano we know the old squad was a disaster. But MW will want a good look at what he has (not a lot) signings already made probably been due to big Davie who watched rangers all last season. And has told MW, first things first. Defence is a shambles. Seem more organised already compared to ally. McCall did have them a little more organised. Anybody know anything about pre season friendlies?

I renewed mine on Monday 22nd June I asked the guy dealing with me how many season tickets have been sold so far and he said about 8000 so hopefully a week on we have sold many more don't think we will get the 40000-45000 dk was wanting I think the final total will be 30000-35000
