Sly sports reporting from the training ground that a announcement is imminent regarding a new manager and it looks like Barry Ferguson, never stated interim or permanent but something is happening.

I can assure you jockthebear and Hooly78 that sky were reporting live from outside the training ground (in the morning) I do not make up stories believe it or not.

Pedro has nothing to lose taking the Rangers job completely wrong appointment if he gets it . Has to be someone with a reputation to uphold.

Got a feeling that we are going down the same route that Celtic did with Ronny Delia and he did win 2 championships, but ask any Celtic fan and they will tell you it was rotten Delia was handed players from above and told to coach them.
The play was poor attendances dropped and in the end they turned against the manager and board. Now correct me if I am wrong but the similarities are already starting to show - it is the cheap option.
The De bore's will not work under these constraints. Only young emerging coaches will try this out like at Hearts with Robbie Neilson and Ian Cathro where it has been a success, but this is Rangers where success is measured on trophies and old firm games.
So DK take note, we need to challenge and beat Celtic regularly so make sure you get it right.

stungun 100 if you did a bit of research you would know that de boer worked under a director of football whilst at Ajax The D. O. f at Ajax is Marc Overmars. Most European Clubs used this structure.

This is what happened:
Warburtons agent approached Forrest. Warburton is highly thought of in England. Warburton had not spoken to King in over a month. He knew King wanted him out and he wanted out. (Stepping stone for England, yes it is for every manager and player in the SPL) So Forest say yes we are interested but we can't afford compensation.
Agent goes to Rangers and asks, if Warburton leaves for another job can both sides walk away from the contract. Warburton had 2 years remaining so if Rangers sacked him it costs 2 years money. The board said yes why not. Rangers are happy as no pay off. Forest happy no compensation.
Agent went to Forest said Warburton would come but he wanted to bring his back room staff. Forest then had to pay off the contracts of their backroom staff so they said leave it till summer and we will talk again. Forest are also skint.
Agent goes back to the board, Rangers think, no we are happy with the agreement and without telling the agent, they announce the dismissal on grounds that he resigned. There was no signed resignation.
It was agreed by Rangers that they would let him go. So now it's up to the lawyers if that request counts as resignation. You can resign verbally, you can be sacked verbally. Paper work can follow. The question is, if the above scenario is a resignation or not. Over to the lawyers. It's not cut and dried on any side.

With the record really poor against top 6 clubs this season When the league splits that is a worrying thought Rangers should have had a points cushion in the eventuality of this, there is no way this team can be trusted to try and grid out or play out a game and don't think for one minute Niko can come back and save the day lot of selective memories on here he was so out of his deapth at Ceptic park games were passing him by he had a full pre season to get fit and could not manage it so stop this dreaming and look at the reality this team needs to start winning games between now and the split MW is not a bad manager he simply does not understand its Win Win Win.

Dodgier football is not just about confidence you really do need to have ability to go with that confidence Martin Waghorn will never have the ability to pick the ball up back to goal turn and drive forward or link up the play because he doesn't have the skill set to carry it out but he does have the confidence to stick a penalty away each week because that's his ability level.
Joe Garner will never have the ability to stay focused during a game and play as a team as his ability does not allow him to understand that there is no Eye in team but he has the confidence to run about kicking and assaulting opposition players and think that ok.
Barry McKay has ability but does not have the heart to use the gift he has and never will
So the point is that your assessment that Pedro will install confidence is lacking any real substance it's down to ability

Rangers1971 that's your solution get the players wound up that would really work Players need to be focused calm when on the ball so you can think about what's going on around you If you are wound up before the game there is only one outcome defeat due to rash tackles and rash decision making Pedro needs to deliver a game plan clearly to everyone and stick to it

When a player comes out and says 3rd place is successful, you now have the reason we are in 3rd. Not one player from the past would ever think 3rd is good enough never mind make a statement claiming this. Thought the left back Hodson was the worst player on the pitch. He brought nothing to the game just don't understand why he is even at Rangers. I would give him 10/ 10 for effort but without basic ability it counts for nothing and that's the problem.
a team full of players that lack ability and that's not the players fault it's a lack of money and investment which is sad to say whether we like it or not, we are advertising for stewards for people to work for free. what a complete and utter shambolic state of affairs for a club the size of Rangers to be in.
