Apparently the BBC are complaining to the SFA / SPL about not being able to interview Gerrard before and after games. Maybe the impasse will be resolved.

TrueBlueDrew

1.) 11 May 2018 11:35:34
It's about time this issue was resolved

2.) 11 May 2018 12:11:44
Maybe if the BBC were more honest in their media coverage of rangers then the club would be a bit more approachable

3.) 11 May 2018 12:15:20
Good. glad they are squirming. couldn't wait to stick the knife in not to mention the utter lies they spouted too.

4.) 11 May 2018 12:31:38
Ha ha, comedy gold! Hope the club Don't relent. Wee Golum would be standing outside the main stand, mike in hand, trying to peer in through the frosted glass. Hell mend them!

5.) 11 May 2018 12:33:50
Boo hoo! Bbc

6.) 11 May 2018 13:25:07
We banned McLaughlin. They boycotted us. It's not us who deny them anything - they refuse to deal with anything to do with us as a result. So I'm not entirely sure they went to anyone to complain? They can interview Stevie G if they want?

7.) 11 May 2018 15:45:51
Time to make some cash if they want access to talk to Gerard. Get there cheque book out. Time is money .

8.) 11 May 2018 18:18:57
The BBC brought it on themselves. SG won’t speak to the **** either are they going to moan about that!

9.) 11 May 2018 13:32:12
Funny how they weren’t that bothered about Pedro or Murty.
But now we have a big name they are creaming there pants to get involved.

Former Rangers midfielder Kevin Thomson has revealed he held talks with new Ibrox boss Pedro Caixinha about the vacant No.3 position.

TrueBlueDrew

1.) 02 Apr 2017 21:48:22
Who agrees john mcginn from hibs would be a fine player for us in midfield?

2.) 02 Apr 2017 23:21:13
Not me he's a cart horse

3.) 02 Apr 2017 23:39:01
Mcginn is overrated. Just gives away cheap fouls and can't pick a pass. Not been impressed when I've seen him

4.) 03 Apr 2017 09:54:47
We need to be significantly improving the quality of players at Ibrox not bringing in more of the same. We should be setting out our stall with the permanent signing of Hyndman and we should build our team round him.

Money needs to be found to support the manager in the transfer market and if King can't provide it then he needs to find someone that can!

With a bit of luck we wouldn't need too many new faces. Fodderingham is a good keeper, Tav a good attacking right back but we need at least one centre back and we need a hard man defender at left back rather than Wallace unless he, (like Tavernier), can improve the defensive side of his game. We could be lucky in midfield if Rossiter can get fit and stay fit, we sign Hyndman and Krancjar and Crooks can do a job. Windass could be a decent player as well but we need a Terry Hurlock, Graham Roberts type as well. Up front, we need a striker and a winger and personally I would look to offload McKay. We need consistency, not someone that plays one good game in five!

With the funds I am sure that Pedro can bring in some quality from South America and his god son and Weiss from his old team in the Middle East. Right now there are some very good players in the Mexican league that is quickly establishing itself as one of the best worldwide.

5.) 03 Apr 2017 10:54:40
The weekend result/ performance just tells us all that it makes no difference who the manager is the players are just rank rotten. As for Barrie McKay, we are effectively playing with 10 players every week so long as he's in the team. If we could get any money for him then good riddance.

6.) 03 Apr 2017 11:56:17
McGinn is a smashing player, however I have heard huge Celtic family and we can not compete if they are in for him.

I would prefer Pedro does his own thing and doesn't sheep it like other managers who have came to the old firm.

7.) 03 Apr 2017 14:21:16
Only problem with bringing in South Americans is the work permits. Can someone please tell me the rules regarding this?

8.) 03 Apr 2017 14:26:58
Tom, can't see why anyone would ever want to keep Windass, Crooks, Kranjcar or even rossiter and get rid of wallace and mackay. Nico is past it. a terrible signing and Crooks and Windass were never Gers quality. they are what they are.

English lower league players. Rossiter looks a player but is always going to be injury prone. as for the rest of them, there's not many i'd keep. probs Tav, Fods, Waldo, Mackay hopefully Hyndman, Miller and Waggy. Not much else. maybe Holt, but that's about it.

9.) 03 Apr 2017 14:36:47
No chance of McGinn ever playing for us.

10.) 03 Apr 2017 16:17:29
if i was to sign players from scotland, i'd sign hayes and rooney from the sheep and maybe that walker and prince boy from hearts the rest would be a no no especially a championship player as we saw how well this team did down there so it doesn't speak volumes for the class of a player having a good season with hibs in the lower league

Huddersfield Town have placed head of football operations Stuart Webber on garden leave amid reports linking him with the Rangers director of football position.

TrueBlueDrew

1.) 30 Mar 2017 13:21:18
Apparently wants the Norwich job. Ssn

2.) 31 Mar 2017 11:17:34
As son as Warbs, DW and Frank McP done the dirty, I signed Webber on FM17. Just saying

13 Feb 2017 10:58:51
Article in todays Scotsman newspaper "Rangers could look to Huddersfield Town's Stuart Webber as the Ibrox club plans for life after Mark Warburton. " His role is reported to be Director of Football.

TrueBlueDrew

1.) 13 Feb 2017 12:10:09

6.) 13 Feb 2017 14:31:57
Absolute rubbish he's under contract to the sheep we would need their permission to speak to him. Plus we would need to pay them compo.
Another I work for mackenzies at the airport and. . story

7.) 13 Feb 2017 14:58:28
**** sake guys just saying what I've heard his cousin spoke to him and said he was having talks unlike some of the absolute drivel on here that's just fantasy! Talks don't mean he's signing its just talks!

8.) 13 Feb 2017 18:41:50
I watch Blackburn Rovers although Rangers are my only team and watch every match from home, this season i had the pleasure to see Huddersfield when they visited Ewood and they are far the best team to play here, not surprised they are riding high in the league, as far as someone coming to Rangers i would not count on it they are a club very much on the up and would be surprised to see them in the E. P. L.

9.) 13 Feb 2017 21:51:33
I told you weeks ago that Warburton had lost the confidence of the chairman and was going. The same source, a family friend of King and season ticket holder, says deal is all but done with Mcleish and Alex Rae

10.) 13 Feb 2017 23:03:01
Ive watched Huddersfield a few times this year and their style of play is a joy to watch. whether our players are good enough to carry it off is another thing

11.) 14 Feb 2017 00:57:27
No offence buddy, but he isn't in talks with rangers, I think It will be big Eck till the summer

12.) 14 Feb 2017 06:25:59
MacLeish has definitely got the job his assistant is Alec Rae be confirmed today or Wednesday

03 Feb 2017 15:33:27
another website not only has MW and DW been held to account at board level but also FMcP. and I quote.

"In fact, director of football Frank McParland is also understood to have been questioned of late for some of the signings he's made on a big budget with meeting and cross-examination reportedly held at last week's board meeting. "

unquote.

3.) 03 Feb 2017 20:47:32
Moyes has achieved very little since he left Everton.

4.) 03 Feb 2017 22:23:16
He's achieved being sacked twice and now he's Sunderland manager that are in a dog fight to avoid relegation u would trust him with money have u seen his Sunderland signing at least when warbs went for lescot he was thin.

just a thought.

5.) 08 Mar 2020 11:07:50

Good point trev.

17 Mar 2019 15:33:34
If SG is under pressure to win a trophy next season then he will be reluctant to give youth a chance. SG could be tempted to go for players at the end of their career or promising loans from some of the bigger clubs in England. Why not take a chance on some of our young players. Ease them in gently, bring them on as subs give them a chance to prove themselves. Rangers will always be a buying club but we must produce our own players to maintain our viability. The pressure will be on Rangers next season but then it always is.

Stevie G says he needs 6 players to make a difference, I wonder what positions he is talking about?

2.) 17 Mar 2019 16:11:57
Lb, rb, CH, rw, no10,striker.

3.) 17 Mar 2019 16:26:53

4.) 17 Mar 2019 17:39:56
Ha ha ha! Had to laugh there robroy.
I think you meant the lower echelons of scottish football mate.
Echelons = a level or rank in an organization, a profession, or society.
Nice try though! Lol
Happy st paddys day.

5.) 17 Mar 2019 17:55:09
Stevie G can't keep on using excuses that he needs this and that as players He's already adopted a better team than the rest and slso outspent them (bar Celtic)

6.) 17 Mar 2019 21:01:45
yogi thanks for correcting my wee slip of description
but you need to understand i was still shaking after our 96 minute winner. but honestly i hope your man gets his act together and force our board to think there is a challenge and spend his stashed millions and see were we can go. hopefully no were near the brotherhood of CLOSE. hh.

7.) 18 Mar 2019 06:40:06
No WHERE near.
Sorry to have to school you again robroy.
You must still be shaking after your 96th minute winner I guess?
No thanks necessary.

Too predictable tonight with no creativity, out fought, out thought and out of excuses. Two defensive errors and we lose two goals. The central defenders need to improve their out ball. Apart from a Goldson pass that led to the equalizer against St Johnstone all they do is hit a square pass. The opposition know they carry no threat and let them play on the half way line for as long as they want. Like I said too predictable.

Just about to go to the game but more in hope than expectation. let's we go for the jugular today and Ibrox will be rocking as much at the end of the game as at the start. C'moam ra Gers.

I doubt many of the idiots who went to Ibrox have season tickets. As Richard Gough said they were mainly teenagers. If citizens break the law then let the legal system deal with them. No matter how strongly the club begs them to stay away you will always have an element that will totally ignore the advice.

One of the remarks about SG management style was he acted more like a captain than a manager. His stance on AM is definitely the action of a manager. Now is the time for solidarity and dare I say loyalty and get behind SG because he was as hurting the same as the rest of us after the game. The players to a man should be disgusted with their performance last night.

Manager right to drop him. Sends a message to the squad if you don't want to be here it's time to go. AF was given two substantial wage rises and he treats us like this. Send him to train with the youth team see how he likes it. Clubs will be wary of signing him with his disciplinary record and we could be lucky to get £10 million for him. Sir Walter was right sell him and invest the money in the team.

One thing I have learned in my 70 years is that old firm games are unpredictable. This is a crucial month for Rangers and we will have a better understanding of our chances of winning 55 when January is over. Will adopt my usual position of watching the game from behind the couch when it's on TV. C'mon the Gers.

The manager seems to play one system. It does not matter the calibre of the opposition whether it's the famous RM (Real Madrid) or the famous ASL (Auchenshuggle Stank Lifters) he will start the game with a single striker. We are Rangers and we should never be rolled over by a team like Hearts. We lost one nothing and were lucky to get nothing.
