As a shareholder (only a few), I (and many others) have been approached by Rangers Supporters Trust to transfer (in my case) 50% to RST in exchange for lifetime membership. I will be voting against the board at the EGM so are there any benefits to be gained? If such shareholders agree en masse, will it help to reassure the King camp that they will achieve the 51%? Are there any catches or implications to agreeing? What does membership of RST bring? Thanks for any responses, especially from like-minded people.

bloodoogie I am also a share holder and will be voting this board out but I am not transferring my shares as I also do not see any benefits gained by it. your post is spot on catches implications. a bit dodgy

Nice to gloat over the allegedly corrupt individuals but, if proven guilty, what happens to the assets? Do the oldco creditors have first call? If so, where does that leave the newco?

Why would a rising star with many roads ahead from which to choose go to a club in the Scottish Championship which is in a dire financial state? Potential I possibly hear you say but realisation of that is many years away along a very rough track. Unfortunately, the days of Rangers cherry picking new talent are gone for a significant period of time.

Seemed to be shaking his head as he did it so might have been signing a cheque - a very large cheque which Lee refused as a carrot to go elsewhere - just a thought.

You are correct billyb - this season is a wash-out, we might not even make the play-offs. The players and the remaining team management are totally demotivated, dispirited and disillusioned. Just as prior to administration, they know that bad days lie ahead. However many players are out of contract at the end of the season (12?), they know already that they will either be offered a significant drop in wages or the door. Those still in contract are epathetic and see no point in putting themselves out for an employer who are about to screw the club down to the floor. Restructure at the top is desperately required of course but Stephen is also right - the current regime does not give a toss about the fans (this was painfully evident at the AGM) and are just taking us for a ride. Sad and unpalatable it may be but we are now about to take a big step back in order to achieve eventually our short term ambitions.
