Greame has been our signing of the season.
No question.
He's learned fast and taking us in the right direction.
If hibs take anything off that mob this weekend, we could be playing for the championship.

Murty will be successful i have no doubt. thank god mcinnes said no

2.) 27 Jan 2018 01:13:27
I like your your optimism but this season it’s all about reducing the gap, improving the team and finishing a strong second which is more realistic. Then hopefully next season going one better!

3.) 27 Jan 2018 09:37:54
we need to get it out our heads that the title is a possibility this team is a work in progress and there will be times when we slip up i'm looking at points total from now until end of the season because this is now a graeme murty team if were close to what the mhanks get for rest of the season it will put me in a really positive mood for a title push next season

STV Report 2nd bid in tonight for Docherty. In excess of £500000.

buddy666

1.) 22 Jan 2018 18:28:17
Seen reported it has been turned down

2.) 22 Jan 2018 19:04:30
Where did you See this

3.) 22 Jan 2018 20:12:54
Apparently bid not rejected but talks ongoing

4.) 22 Jan 2018 21:11:12
It's been turned down because Accies. like all the others, have moved the goalposts. It seems this bid was £300,000 now (up from £100k) and £250k at the end of the season. Hamilton now want the lot up front, which was never on the table before. I believe we'll meet their demands but I for one would be shopping elsewhere and to hell with these Scottish clubs who despise us but crave our blue pound.

5.) 22 Jan 2018 21:44:15
Totally agree way u mate

6.) 22 Jan 2018 23:06:27
The problem seems to lie with what we are willing to pay upfront i bet if we went in with 500k up front we would have him in the squad we are not offering enough upfront that's why we are not getting him not hamilton moving the goalposts these low offers do more damage than good as clubs reluctant to deal with us thereafter so end up having pay more or move on to next player

7.) 23 Jan 2018 07:58:36
The problem is and will be for a considerable time. That we don't have the money to pay up front and clubs don't trust us to pay at the end of the season etc.

8.) 23 Jan 2018 08:23:23
We don't have the money cause Pedro spent on total diddies. How the board allowed this is disgraceful. Penny pinching at Scottish clubs but overpaying elsewhere. Would have preferred top quality Scottish rather than pena, herrara, dalcio, cardosa. This is why Scottish clubs are wanting value.

9.) 23 Jan 2018 16:47:29
'Top quality Scottish' is that a thing? 'Average Championship level players' is how it might be described elsewhere.

So Windass thinks he was undervalued. Maybe he shouldn't have gone missing in action quite as often then.
He was never as good as he imagined he was.

buddy666

1.) 13 Nov 2018 10:33:47
Windass was lucky to be valued at £2.5 mil. He only ever gave us 10 mins in a game and done hee haw the other 80.

Seems to me that too many Rangers fans aren't happy with any signing unless they cost millions, regardless of the quality of the player.
Murphy had no quality around him last season, and Morelos needs a confidence boost. SG can provide both the support required in management and in recruitment.

buddy666

1.) 18 May 2018 17:06:12
Ohhh no mate. since SG has become manager this place has been inundated with the unwashed.

2.) 18 May 2018 17:36:09
Well said bud people on here need to chill and realise there will be players from last season still with the club Steve g is not going to let all them go and if it was the other way round and Murphy and Cummings where leaving but what we will do is give Pena Herrera and cardoso new deals think about it bears and let's get ready for next season with big expectations

07 May 2018 19:16:28
Ok. So there is nothing to get excited about regards investment.
Does it matter so long as SG gets what he needs from the club?
Furthermore, I think some of the old contracts are still in place re: Sports direct etc. No new investment would happen while they are still involved in ANY capacity.

buddy666

1.) 07 May 2018 20:23:13
And why do u think fat a#rse is still involved mate

2.) 07 May 2018 21:27:12
Well see where the strips are available I've got a suspicion were not 100% rid of Ashley either.

01 May 2018 11:20:52
Personally I am right behind the board. They have clearly been working on longer term solutions for a time, but until all the ties with Sports direct have been cut, have hedged their bets.
The way Murts has been treated is a matter of conjecture. No-one but he, knows the situation in truth.
I believe the Gerrard deal has been planned for months, but only now are the board able to move.
I see no advantage in criticism of situations of which e have no knowledge. Let's just hope things now step up a few gears, and they give us something to sing about.
Follow Follow.

buddy666

1.) 01 May 2018 12:32:40
Nonsense, so tell us why the SG interest was floated before the Celtic games?
Yes, I think Murty was hopeless but the board did everything but kick him in the himalaws, so the very, very little chance we had was gone completely.
The SG "interest" was floated so sell season tickets, no matter the consequences.
I would not trust them with the money that is in my grandson's piggy bank, far less with the future of our club.

2.) 01 May 2018 12:36:35
Or instead of wasting millions and years bickering with Ashley in court he could have negotiaTed right from the beginning saved us a fortune and had the kit situation sorted years earlier

3.) 01 May 2018 12:55:33
billyb, I guess you would have to ask whoever released it to the press there is not one person from within the club that has mentioned it

4.) 01 May 2018 13:05:30
Frustrated blue, the fact you think Ashley could be negotiated with worries me.

The guys sole aim was to drain all the money he could from Rangers with giving as little profit margin to the club.

The board are making a rare erse of things, but without them we wouldn't have had a club, we were going into admin and we wouldn't have come back from it the second time round.

5.) 01 May 2018 16:23:42
If Rangers did not leak the SG situation who would? I say again, it was to ensure season tickets will be sold to the maximum. This time if Sg does not sign on the dotted line, it will backfire on them bigtime.
Yes Bearmode, I also believe that the negotiations with Ashley could have been handled better, as what happened drained whatever resources we had.

6.) 01 May 2018 18:17:26
Bear mode. The guy negotiated didn't he? Dave King tried to start a war rather than do what was best for club and negoiate his way out of the deal. The deal was made with the previous board and yes it was a terrible deal for us. So is the close bros loan and don't see anyone slaughtering the board for making that deal?

New kit timings are entirely contractual obligations lingering from old deals. RFC would happily release new kits sooner if it were possible.
This is beyond their control.
As soon as they are clear of old contracts new kit will be on sale.

There's a serious stench of sour grapes coming from the east.
Let's see where we are are NEXT May.

I wouldn't judge some of our squad from last season untl we see what they deliver under SG.
Let's just give them a chance, especially Docherty. He's a young promising lad, and not to be condemned by what he showed last season under Murts.

Only for injury, young McCrorie was a serious contender.
Canddias promising still.
But Tav has to edge it.

That mob have been fortunate enough to have had few dips in form and few injuries in the last year or so. That's changing now. The bubble is bursting, and the fact that too many showed them too much respect, has now ended. They are there for the taking.
We're coming for you!
