without being to negative i can't help but think we are over rating this big latvian lad? people are talking about his goals but nicky clark netted 41 in 46 fair dues for qos but a goals a goal and who is skonto riga, all i'm saying is this guy will need time to settle, we've got plenty young scots fighting for a jersey! imo you must give them a chance.

Fair point and we've heard nothing about signing him anyway. Clarke just showed how much easier it is to score for a small club against teams not playing their cup finals. I agree that we should be looking at young home grown talent but in my opinion a guy like Hardie at 18 is just too young and inexperienced to lead the line.
We need a number 9 more so than a left winger or backup goalkeeper and should be prepared to spend. I'm not saying crazy money but we can't languish under the penniless umbrella or notion that spending in the past got us into this mess, as it didn't. Check the court case charge sheet to confirm what did. We're missing out on European football and better TV rights income alongside merchandising. It's less to do with spending and more about missing out on earning potential. Promotion is an absolute non negotiable must and putting away half the chances we miss will help.

If the Latvian ST was impressive in training i'm am sure he would have signed up even on a short term contract, as this seems to be dragging on.

I liked the thought of moh in our attack, I rated him at st Johnstone but I think there play suited him! Quick on the counter but with 10 men in front of him he just runs in a straight line! Very one dimensional, but a clean slate so here's hoping.

to be honest can't help but think may would be a good signing but for £1m seems a bit extreme, if its true to have made 8-9m in season tickets too spend a quarter of that on 2-3 players seems a bit out of sight. WATP

I've got a opinion and it is that you are by far the biggest anti rangers fan on here! MW could sign messi tomorrow and you was probably moan about his age! I didn't mean he plays like him I mean he strolls about like he's the dogs balls and clearly isn't! He's played next to experienced players since he left rangers to be a pl superstar and got found out! Fair doos he done a job for hearts but again was in a diddy league! He will never be a top class defender all potential no finished article!

Wilson is hopeless imo he tries making these 30 yard passes (and fails) when he can't even make a 5 yard pass without it being tight, he's slow and really not too convincing in a tackle! Easily replaceable if you ask me! At least tav and waldo contributed with goals.
