With all this hype about villa scouts watching fredo do we think he might go come January? I hope not to be fair I think he needs at least a full season here, I don't see where else striker wise our goals will come from, and it's not just his goals we'll miss but his overall play holding the ball up etc, what do we think?

1.) 16 Oct 2017 19:57:20
Good news if other teams want our players. People will be shiting themselves in case he leaves but if he does then it'll be for a fee we're happy with.

2.) 16 Oct 2017 20:24:07
Well it will be for no less than 5mil in my book. That boy is a goal scorer and has plenty of fight in him. He is still only what 20? So plenty of years ahead of him where he will only get better.

3.) 16 Oct 2017 22:24:10
I’m sure he will not see the championship as a better option than rangers at the moment. He could get lost in that league and drop off the radar. It’s a tough league to shine in.

Hope he’s not got a low buy out clause either.

I’m still not convinced fully with him. He runs around a lot and puts in a shift but has missed a few sitters and good chances in the last few games. He’s a bit young to be relied on over a Full season I think.

4.) 16 oct 2017 23:09:37
i don't believe what i'm reading ----- you people surely are not for real
what are you going on about?
we, as a team, are trying to move in the right direction but you lot in a flash are now deciding who you will sell and how much he will fetch
----- get a grip and just support your team

5.) 16 Oct 2017 23:47:35
Absolutely agree Kerrymac. Get behind the Club and stop selling off the family silver People

6.) 16 Oct 2017 23:51:35
What you on about kerrymac? We are simply responding to rumours that villa want to sign morelos in january. We did not make this up nor did we decide to sell him. I think you need to get a grip and pipe down, there's a good lad.

7.) 17 Oct 2017 08:09:39
Got to agree with Coldo.
A: No-one is saying we should TRY and punt him.
If he carries on scoring he will be subject to bids. That's just a fact.
Also as much as we should look to hold onto players we are no longer in the position to hold off on the big bids.
If we do sell I just hope we replicate Celtic's policy of putting in Sell on clauses.

8.) 17 Oct 2017 09:03:42
He won't be sold yet, the boy has been here a few month. Aston villa or rangers come on I don't think we will lose our decent players to a championship outfit. When he scores against them he is immediately worth 50 million dembele dollars.

9.) 17 Oct 2017 09:12:50
Say we do get offerd money for morelos in jan then i do think the board would consider bids of 3 million and upwards as they would propbally see this as a good return on 1 million investment
we are a selling club from now on so if bids come in good enough we will end up selling keeping a hold of them is not a option

10.) 17 Oct 2017 09:16:58
Exactly bluegenius, not one person said we should/ want to sell him but if our best players play well then they will be picked off by clubs that are in no way bigger than us but have a hell of lot more financial power than us, that's just the reality. We must make sure we get value in any deal and yes a sell on clause as this has worked very well for celtic. How people can interpret this as not supporting the team is absolutely mind boggling 🤤. Must be a lack of the basic grasp of the english language.

11.) 17 Oct 2017 09:22:49
I just think a full season at least then we'll see how his return is goals per game then we decide what the future holds, if we are a selling club now I'd hate to see our players go straight away for poor money then watch him go on to become a proper star

12.) 17 Oct 2017 09:59:27
He is far to important a player to be considered for a Jan exit.

Plus he needs more time to adapt to the physical side of the game along with judging runs. Better defenses down south would have him offside 10times a game. Little things for him to work on and he will be a real star.

13.) 17 Oct 2017 10:33:06
Oh yeah I don't think he will go in January.
This is merely speculative talk by the press just now. They say this about 1 hundred different players and then when one finally goes through its the old "you heard it here first" forgetting conveniently all the ones that were bullcrap.
However if he scores continually until January and some Prem club struggling for goals comes calling in Jan with a 3-4 mill offer then it may happen. Stick on a 15% sell on if you can and if he makes it big you make more when that club goes down or he justs moves to bigger.

14.) 17 Oct 2017 10:37:19
I agree with u definitely needs a full season but if the price is right then why not.

15.) 17 Oct 2017 12:09:09
Villa scouting Morelos mmm would love to see rangers hang on to him for a year or two yet but I guess if the money is right he will go, personally can't see why villa want him as they have 4 forwards already and young hogan who isn't in the team at the moment is very similar to young Morelos and is a natural goalscorer.

16.) 17 Oct 2017 13:11:23
Thats exactly what it comes down to, if the money is right then we couldn't say no.

17.) 17 Oct 2017 18:12:15
It is stated we are a selling club by some. More often than not. We buy and then give away.

10 Aug 2017 10:16:23
Looking like the bread man is jumping in to get foderingham

1.) 10 Aug 2017 10:43:52
Good news bye you done gers proud but liability at crosses and pass backs now hope we go for rossbach from odd in norway

2.) 10 Aug 2017 11:30:47
Kaymer, your joking right? Fod didn't come for only 1 cross v motherwell and it was their goal, otherwise he came for more crosses in that game and comanded his area more than I have seen from him. He is a great shot stopper and is getting better with better coaching. Some people always think the grass is greener on the other side but hey what do I know.

3.) 10 Aug 2017 11:52:03
Na, I'd say stick with Fod, he's a good keeper and young and has got better with every season.

4.) 10 Aug 2017 11:58:32
If it wasn't for kenny Miller foderingham would have been our best player last year and the guy is only getting better. To sell him would be absolute nonsense.

5.) 10 Aug 2017 11:58:37
1 game does not make him good he great shot stopper etc yes but my opinion he too unreliable at crosses backpasses and needs to command his box more always said a goalkeeper is the commander of his box and we really don't see that much of fods in games commanding his

In there time at gers mcgregor klos mccloy walker woods etc were out punching clearing it all etc i don't see it too much with fods as i said it only my opinion every one has diff opinions of players etc

6.) 10 Aug 2017 12:58:21
Klos was terrible at crosses too

7.) 10 Aug 2017 13:05:48
Mark Warburton will have to cough up this time around to pay for Foderingham He will be around 2-3m

8.) 10 Aug 2017 13:09:20
If wee get a decent offer for him then he will b away anything over a mil it will get accepted

9.) 10 Aug 2017 13:33:57
Did I really just read a comparison made between wes and Stefan klos!

10.) 10 Aug 2017 14:04:44
agree Kaz - if warbs wants him he's under long term contract with us so we shd ask 2/ 3m

warbs signed him for us on a minimal fee so knows exactly what we paid but that means hee haw - he's now our no1 and Eng Champ is awash with serious money so if they want him they should pay top dollar. they got wee barry on cheap as he only had a year left - diff story with Wes tho

ironically i don't actually think he's as good as people make him out to be - yes good shot stopper but doesn't command his box or come off his line enough and i'm not just talking about fir park on sun - he's good and will get better but not irreplaceable.

just as an aside wtf is going on with pena - dble training sessions for 6 wks but he's still not 'fit' . hmmm

11.) 10 Aug 2017 14:42:40
Wes to stay 100%! I really rate him and the only flaw i seen with him was his attitude towards coming for crosses etc, i think he's been working on it and i do think he could well become great!

12.) 10 Aug 2017 14:45:49
Yeah no7 Pena is getting double sessions to get him up to speed He also speaks very little English So think its taking a little longer for him to adapt Hope he becomes good

13.) 10 Aug 2017 15:06:17
Goram hated crosses as well!

14.) 10 Aug 2017 15:41:40
Luckily your opinion, in terms of this, means nothing then.

Foderingham is the best keeper in this league.

15.) 10 Aug 2017 15:52:56
Klos and especially goram are on a different level than fods will ever be he isn't even as good as mcgregor I still think he can grow to be decent but alnwick looks like he will be solid.

16.) 10 Aug 2017 16:56:06
Super Ally are you serious? Fods is the best keeper in Scotland? Really?

Mate I fear that your specs are a little too blue in their tint!

17.) 10 Aug 2017 16:57:42
If you feel Fods is the best in the league then fair play. I would be shocked if your opinion was shared by the larger percentage of our fans. The guy at Aberdeen is by far the best all round keeper in this league. If Gordon stopped his kung fu kicks he would also be miles ahead of Fods. Fods is a bottle job. Beaten to easily in big games.

18.) 10 Aug 2017 17:30:29
I think scott fox fae ross county could do a job for the gers

19.) 10 Aug 2017 18:20:51
It is debateable if Fod is even the best keeper at Ibrox nevermind the league

20.) 10 Aug 2017 20:29:32
Have to say I like the look of Alnwick from the little I've seen of him! A bit more commanding although I would doubt he's a better shotstopper than wes! Reflex saves are where wes excels

21.) 10 Aug 2017 20:31:36
I personally like Wes but I'm also a big fan of Alnwick having seen a lot of him in the lower leagues in England (living in Fleetwood I watch them quite a bit when I can't get up the road ) . If Wes was to go though totally agree that a fee of 2/ 3 million should be what we get, they got Barry on the cheap we can't let them do it again

22.) 10 Aug 2017 20:40:30
And now a comparison between wes and goram! my God folks! Goram never needed to come for crosses tbf as big gough owned everything in the air at all times! Oh to have big goughie these days! Even dave mcpherson would be a revelation

23.) 10 Aug 2017 20:41:32
Plus alnwick has a stoater of a beard! Lol

24.) 10 Aug 2017 20:59:43
Just out of interest, to the people who are saying Wes isn't the best keeper in Scotland then who do you's think is and I hope nobody say Gordon because he's mince

25.) 11 Aug 2017 09:13:33
I think Joe Lewis is the best keeper but the money that Nottingham would offer for Fod wouldn't be enough for Aberdeen to sell him to us. I say stuck with Fod

26.) 11 Aug 2017 09:14:00
Stick not stuck

27.) 11 Aug 2017 10:06:02
He isn't an outstanding keeper, but he has served us well and is getting better game by game. I'd keep him till next summer at least

25 Jul 2017 11:38:52
Dont shoot thw messenger, well reader of posts lol but there's a lot of noise about naismith doing training with rangers today and the possibility of signing, now people are arguing saying he's no chance because norwich paid 9 million two years ago, and others saying he's a free agent, what is the truth about his contract situation? If he is a free agent then i can pretty much see him signing for us

1.) 25 Jul 2017 12:34:18
He's got 2 years left in his contract

2.) 25 Jul 2017 12:39:51
Hope Naismith signs. My desire to see Rangers do well outweighs anything else.

3.) 25 Jul 2017 13:27:29
If Naismith is the answer. what's the question? Would be expensive, little if any re sell value. plus the baggage that he brings.

4.) 25 Jul 2017 14:02:04
I'd imagine we could agree wages of 15k per week and can't see Norwich wanting anything more than £1m transfer fee to get him off their astronomical wage bill with the parachute payments drying up, think this is last season they receive it.
This is just my opinion though not based on any facts or rumours i'm afraid.
Like Rangers 0012 comment, sums it up perfectly even if he's from the dark side . or Not

5.) 25 Jul 2017 15:17:49
He isn't coming back to rangers . we couldn't afford the fee as he has 2 years left on contract and he has said he wants to stay in England . he isn't training at rangers as he is currently training with his own team . why do people on here just lie? Give it a rest, there's a difference in reality and what you want to happen

6.) 25 Jul 2017 16:28:34
Naismith was freed by Norwich. He was in talks with us 2 months ago so if he was going to sign, he would be there already.

If you know he is training then surely you would be savvy to whether or not he is under contract.

Another made up post.

7.) 25 Jul 2017 17:07:57
If he was released why was he playing for them this week?

8.) 25 Jul 2017 17:22:34
I wasnt lying i was just passing on what i read on those rangers pages on facebook, i wanted to know his current contract situation as i didn't know if he was a free or not, if he was a free then yes we would have signed him due to no fee but in contract i don't see him going for anything less than 2-3 million do game over, he's a twat anyway but if he improved the team/ performances then i would welcone him back

9.) 25 Jul 2017 20:52:59
Naismith was not released, it was Whittaker that was released

10.) 26 Jul 2017 18:29:58
Baggage? Maybe Lafferty but not Naismith

11.) 26 Jul 2017 22:19:40
if norwich were interested in releasing naismith he wouldn't be playing for them as much as he has in pre season

12.) 26 Jul 2017 12:17:19
He joined norwich in jan 2016 on a three and half year deal

13.) 26 Jul 2017 14:15:33
Just what baggage is that? Putting his family and career first when he was an entirely innocent victim of SDM's financial mismanagement, poor legal advice, and Whytes duplicitous chicanery. Let's forget that he was a top performer onfield and made a major contribution to a winning side.

In my opinion he had every right to be unhappy with those responsible for the situation in which he found himself. If Walter were still in post would he welcome Naisy back? Absolutely, as would anyone concerned with the football aspects of the club!

Chest beating on the basis of tribalism and I'm a better Bear than you is so much piss and wind.
Sign the guy and if he scores the winner at Parkhead rejoice in the fact that we did!

14.) 26 Jul 2017 14:30:20
Im not for re-signing naismith. He is a good player no doubt but, he's 30 and there is no way of recouping our money that we will pay him in wages. Plus he ditched us lickidy split straight after admin. i'm not prepared to forgive that. We stuff by our club and he didn't simple as.

15.) 27 Jul 2017 00:00:38
Why is it that I do not hear about any other Club being interested in Walker and Naismith?

16.) 27 Jul 2017 13:08:52
Did we miss a trick with Lafferty?

22 Jun 2017 12:13:23
Yes the new mexicans have been sapped (photographed) in training today by an undercover ger hiding in the bushes! 😂 dedication right there

1.) 22 Jun 2017 12:21:35
Dorrans, walker and a quality right back and business should be complete. Can't help but think with the new dof coming in that me may tempt a couple of young city boys up on loan deals.

2.) 22 Jun 2017 13:17:58
dazrfc86 where is the proof of this photograph?

3.) 22 Jun 2017 13:51:28
Daily record and Instagram Fifaguy

15 Jun 2017 19:59:19
Hearing a third bid for Dorrans has been accepted

1.) 15 Jun 2017 20:09:46
Hope that's true need to register players for Europe first round by Monday.

2.) 15 Jun 2017 20:22:00
32 Red confirmed to summer 2019.

I wonder what skrtel means with his cryptic post? Is it the Scottish lingo when people always say know what I mean, or a Scouse thing? But to have the fenerbahce colours maybe he will stay on there? I'm confused 😂

1.) 22 May 2018 22:25:47
Skrtels message in my opinion suggests to me that unfortunatly he would rather stay at Fenerbache.

Had he posted a picture of the Scotland flag or a picture of the U. K or even a union Jack flag with the message "you know what i mean" would suggest he's hinting at the move to Rangers.

I really hope i'm wrong. I hope the big man wants a move to rangers and I hope we get him.

16 May 2018 18:31:17
Who, on here, in the Know, can tell me how much we offered for Goldson? I hope we get him as I really do think he'll shine up here! He's tall, commanding and a no nonsense type player, what we've lacked in recent times

1.) 16 May 2018 19:46:31
He's also had open heart surgery, didn't play for almost the whole of last year and might be a real medical risk.

2.) 16 May 2018 21:29:00
Burnbank did not know u now have access to players medical records. If he is back playing he must have had some very stringent tests. Most people who have heart ops are actually better off as the replace the damaged parts

3.) 16 May 2018 20:57:06
He was back ready to play the latter part of the season though, only for the form of dunk and Duffy that kept him out the team

4.) 17 May 2018 00:17:13
Burnbank1, read that also, he had major surgery for an inflated aorta and the operation was a complete success. He was out of the game for 10 months, played regularly, last 10 games before the season ended.

05 May 2018 17:22:24
After seeing the way young McCrorie came on and got right in about it, I'm starting to drool at the prospect of Gerrard mentoring him and sharing his knowledge and experience and hopefully McCrorie will just keep getting better and better

1.) 05 May 2018 17:37:18
Pressed disagree by accident lol totally agree 👍

2.) 05 May 2018 18:13:31
McCrorie the midfielder is 10 times the player McCrorie the centre half

3.) 05 May 2018 18:22:47
Definately daz. I know he's still centre half but I think he's much more suited to that CDM role he seems way more comfortable in there. I'd like to see him n rossiter in there v hibs n the sheep give us a bit of cover n push Dorrans up further where he can influence games a bit more

4.) 05 May 2018 18:48:58
Totally agree, for me he is a natural cdm but can easily be a box to box mid, who knows, he might even surpass bazzas level

5.) 05 May 2018 18:52:25
Rossiter v mcginn would be a great battle. Would probably come off injured tho

6.) 05 May 2018 19:31:54
I've said it many times and got shot down screaming. The lad is a midfielder, not a defender. And a very good midfielder at that

7.) 05 May 2018 19:32:19
McCrorie definitely CDM

04 May 2018 16:15:36
I think Gerrards been on here gathering our opinions before taking the job, this wee quote of his is spot on and I hope he sticks to it

"But what I won’t be is one of those managers that goes on about a philosophy and talks and talks and talks; I think it’s important to walk the walk. "

04 May 2018 14:01:10
All the talk of no managerial experience, yes it's true and it is a bit worrying, but then I sit and think about it, Gerrard has played at the top level, trained at the top level, premier league experience, champions league experience, international experience a plenty, high fitness regimes, I could go on.
The main point is, he has played and learned from top managers throughout his career, he would gained various tactical knowledge from different managers different methods, basically all his knowledge will be of HUGE benefit to Rangers and I'm certainly excited about what he's going to bring to our club!
This could turn out to be an amazing era we're entering so strap in and enjoy the ride
