Haven't posted for a while, hope everyone is well.

Heard a rumour on Brescia striker Florian Aye is one of many targets being considered this summer. Real interest in Palma from Aris too, nothing in Maja rumour.

Expecting serious offers for Hagi and would sell for anything around 8m, decent ROI all considered and Lowry is fancied more by Beale and his staff.

Ryan Fraser not a target, keeping tabs on Marvelous Nakamba of Villa, Luton have first refusal but should be available for a nominal fee (around 2m) if Luton don't take up the option to buy in the summer.

1985 you had me until you said Beale fancies Lowry ? I doubt that very much hasn't got the bottle to play youth. He has the perfect chance now with league over but I'm guessing he will still bottle it.

2.) 07 May 2023 03:19:25
Aside from his current personal issues there's a reason Lowry isn't with the first team. I also don't expect him to ever breakthrough as it stands.

3.) 07 May 2023 06:07:51
McCrocrie almost left last summer when a new contract was given to McGregor. Charlie McCann did leave when a new contract was given to Steven Davis and his route to the first team was blocked. If Scott Arfield is given a new contract, thus blocking Lowry’s path to first-team football, Lowry will no doubt consider his future also.

If Lowry’s not going to get a chance now, and if we’re going to give the same old guys minutes next season rather than bleed the youngsters, he should just leave.

4.) 07 May 2023 07:09:52
Lowry should get his chance. If not then what’s the point of the youth system? Hagi is one of our only assets to sell on but could still be a major player for us. Maybe we will see a pattern developing the last few games of the season?

5.) 07 May 2023 08:45:49
Yes league is over now is the time for beale to really judge lowry vilmaz devine mcrorie etc give them the game time to show what they can do instead of a 10 min run out always hated how some players go on last 10 minz there not going to show anything they need time in the game even a 45 min run out can show something as lowry showed before when he played.

6.) 07 May 2023 08:48:15
Verdant charlie mccann now at forest green. Which tells me he would never have made it anyway.

7.) 07 May 2023 09:00:03
Good info J1985. Would be keen on Palma and Maja too. Don’t know much about the others. Big season for Lowry when he either plays or gets punted.

8.) 07 May 2023 09:03:04
Got to be careful what you wish for leagues over but if we lose again sections of the fans will want beale gone. Rumour was lowrys attitude is the problem doesn't think he has to work as hard as others.

9.) 07 May 2023 09:10:03
Take real bottle to play a young players who’s been injured.

10.) 07 May 2023 09:55:36
Simple reason Lowry isn't playing is because he's not fit, he isn't a problem either and hopefully kicks on next season.

11.) 07 May 2023 10:17:06
55rangers . if his attitude is worse than that of Kent and Morelos (for example), I'd be getting rid of him also. Doubt it's that? We rarely let our young boys shine through? McCann looked a good prospect, Devine and King sitting on the bench at best and Lowry is nowhere no be seen?

12.) 07 May 2023 11:03:26
55rangers it was all bs about his attitude he was going thru a lot with family issues and injuries.

13.) 07 May 2023 11:34:26
I'd be hoping Devine gets an opportunity it may well save the club if he performs well and the same with king alongside goldson rather than covering for him and if robbie McCrory doesn't get a chance I'd be expecting him to try and move on, change is never easy but MB must embrace it and show the fans he has the balls to make the tough decisions and not worry about upsetting someone.

14.) 07 May 2023 12:06:36
I agree onewaltersmith, Devine should get his chance, but I’m wanting him in anyway as Tav 1-for me isn’t a proper captain fit for our club, and who can lead on the park helping Beale, and 2-he’s so easy to play against its untrue, and people will I’m sure, try and spout numbers at me, and make dick comments, but I’ve not missed his numbers in my comments and also the fact we broke there 10 in a row bid, but Tavs murder, so easy to play against, switches off just as much as Barasic, but gets away with it from Gers fans? So I would like to see Devine, Lowry, Ridvan, given rest of season and Lovelace given a clear sight to game time also?, i'm really surprised McCrorie doesn’t seem to be even in for a shot, especially when he done ok for the games he played in? .

15.) 07 May 2023 13:29:21
I hate these posts where someone makes a statement about a player like " there are reasons why Lowry isn`t with the first team ". If you know something tell us what it is rather than implying there's a problem with the boy . As for Arfield blocking his path, absolute nonsense, we need a squad not just eleven players and if players are playing better than Scott then they would start or be on the bench. They haven`t been good enough and he always shows something coming off the bench, who else does that? As I said previously we need squad of 24 so we need to keep a lot of the current squad because we could be looking at 10 new faces and we need some continuity. If we replace almost the whole team we will struggle at the start of the season while they are blending . That could put us out the Champions league and points behind the other mob.

16.) 07 May 2023 13:29:46
Youth Academy isn't just about bringing players into our first team it's about giving kids a life changing opportunity and a platform to build on.

Don't understand how some people see an Academy as a failure just because it's difficult to get into our team simply because of the pressure. We've Seen 30 year olds come to us and struggle but expect a 18 year old to be ok.

17.) 07 May 2023 13:43:50
Hope it is all bs about his attitude only what I'd heard in a rumour as all is on here. I'd love him to fulfill his potential though.

18.) 07 May 2023 14:34:32
Devine couldn’t lace tavs boots and why should a young boy play before him just because you don’t agree with him being captain lol were would we be without his over 20 goal involvements? A would say behind Aberdeen that is we’re.

19.) 07 May 2023 14:38:17
If you think king is going to save the club playing beside Goldson your lost no we’re near good enough these boys couldn’t win the highland league. Only lowery seems good enough near first team level.

20.) 07 May 2023 14:41:08
Tav has showed up against both Aberdeen and Celtic this season he’s always decent against the better teams play the kids after the Celtic game no time for kids against them we need our strongest team minus Kent and Morelos as they are off.

21.) 07 May 2023 15:39:54
Lowry thinks he's the best player at Ibrox and management love it. There may be noises about his "attitide" but it not coming from anyone who matters, may be some around the training centre seeing his confidence as arrogance but the boy works hard, management like him and the only reason he's not playing is fitness.

22.) 07 May 2023 15:39:54
Devine has good potential he showed that in the games he played.
Of course Patterson was our natural replacement for Tav along with Yilmaz we had 2 very talented full backs and both young and only going to get better and increase in value. Perhaps we should have bought Aaron hickey from hearts when we had the chance as he will be oone of the best young RB's to come out of Glasgow having already surpassed Patterson by a mile, Hickey will be at Man City soon, Guardiola see's a big future for him and watching him grow it's pretty obvious the lads got a superb future and will play for some huge clubs, already having played in Serie A and the EPL and is only 20 yrs old.
Along with Gilmour 2 of the best young talents to come out of Scottish football of recent times.

23.) 07 May 2023 15:58:21
Gilmour can't get a sniff really at any side in england think he may well end up back at ibrox for that reason.

24.) 07 May 2023 17:14:17
I hope so Paul86, lad's only 21 and has hefty potential, Just needs a good consistent run in our team to reignite his career and get his international role back into full swing. Gilmour more than likely won't get the minutes and games he needs to relaunch his stalling career, think he would be good four not only in the league but in Europe, real shame if he is left down south to fade away.
Would need to accept the reality of fighting for a place in the 1st team.

25.) 07 May 2023 17:19:05
Kings a bench warmer at best, but plenty time tio improve, Lowry for sure has talent, hope we get to see him get a decent run this coming season once he is fully fit.
Right now our best CB pairing is Goldson and Souttar.
we should give Davies a shot at LB as he can play that position too,
I'm still not convinced he is the best partner for Goldson for the coming season, so give him a go at LB, nae good, see you later pal.

26.) 07 May 2023 17:53:25
Paul Gilmour has been motm his last 2 games.

27.) 07 May 2023 19:21:39
Wsl. I’ll say why Lowry not with first teamm.
Pre season injury whilst playing Scotland under 21

Done in cup tie v Dumbarton

Further injury in training. Each injury kept him out for minimum six weeks

Finally the lads mum was terminally ill, died, the lad is 19, horrendous scenario for anyone, let alone a 19 year old.

Give him a break.

28.) 07 May 2023 20:22:06
Better than Alexis Mac Allister Beale? He’s been decent but Mac Allister is levels above imho.

29.) 07 May 2023 20:22:21
Ye Tav was great against that lot last game right enough, when he’s watching jota run across him to nod home, and look at the many games over all seasons he has done this? . It’s not that Devine is the man either, but we have an option if saves Beale spending in that area, and Tavs that good, and his 20 goal involvements, and that good a leader that all these top teams fall over themselves bidding for him? . Paterson could have laced his boots, if given the time at the time. Anyway good to see likes of McCrorie, Ridvan, given a game today, and a good win. ??.

30.) 07 May 2023 23:34:53
Did i say that? said last 2 games motm Scotty.

31.) 08 May 2023 07:55:16
Why does everyone assume it's only about Lowry there are other youths at Ibrox.

And Lowry was on bench if he was unfit or injured as everyone claimed why is he on the bench ?.

32.) 08 May 2023 10:21:20
It’s the last 2 games i'm talking about mate.

12 Jul 2021 23:26:23
Not posted for a while. Sharing a rumour I heard today.

Apparently we are looking at a potential permanent move for none other than Mohamed Elyounoussi. Gerrard likes him and Wilson cam do business with Southampton who want rid. Somewhere in the region of 6m however dependant on outgoings.

Anyone heard anything on this?

j1985

1.) 13 Jul 2021 06:32:37
Not a chance in hell will we sign him.

2.) 13 Jul 2021 06:55:54
Think someone is pulling your leg.

3.) 13 Jul 2021 07:28:33
has to be bull he would need a set as large as the ball he kicks for a living.
Elyounoussi doesn't come with a set that big imo.

4.) 13 Jul 2021 08:00:02
That would be funny as if it happened can't see it though.

5.) 13 Jul 2021 09:44:16
Rumours page after all! Can’t see it happening but he is a good player ✌️.

6.) 13 Jul 2021 10:14:38
I actually think he's a cracking player. don't think it would happen but I think he's a really good player and a goal threat he is good for 15 a season at least.

7.) 13 Jul 2021 11:05:09
Truth be told I think he's a player.

8.) 13 Jul 2021 11:34:36
I'd give him a go - to be fair, he looked the most likely to score goals for them last year.
as someone earlier said though it would someone with a VERY large pair of cahones to make the move.

9.) 13 Jul 2021 11:40:43
Not out with the realms of possibility, just look at Mo Jo, Steven Presley and Kenny Miller.

10.) 13 Jul 2021 14:41:45
I do like him as a player but £6 million? Just to wind up the Tims?
They got Scott Allan for £10k a week!

11.) 13 Jul 2021 15:17:58
LOL, At the end of last season I suggested in a FB group that we start a rumour about Elyounoussi, just to watch their reaction. I'm not saying I started this one, but I just thought it would be so much banter if we were to sign the only decent loan they had over the last couple of seasons.

12.) 13 Jul 2021 16:41:34
And Alfie Conn, Broxi.

13.) 13 Jul 2021 18:55:31
£6m too expensive.

14.) 13 Jul 2021 19:21:59
6m not a big price. Not as talented as Kent but could be just as effective bigger goal threat for sure.

15.) 13 Jul 2021 20:06:17
He's absolutely gash!

16.) 13 Jul 2021 21:20:43
6 million is a bargen for him Southampton payed somthing close to 17 million.

17.) 13 Jul 2021 23:07:16
Would pay 5 mil for him but offer to pay his phn bill.

13 Jul 2020 14:49:49
Jordan Ayew + £4m for Morelos to Palace in the next 4 weeks.

j1985

1.) 13 Jul 2020 15:18:17
Salary issues?

2.) 13 Jul 2020 15:41:20
That’s a good one Ayew not that great and won’t be a striker that stops 10.

3.) 13 Jul 2020 15:55:15
That doesn't seem a great deal to me.

4.) 13 Jul 2020 16:18:19
Appreciate it’s a rumour but Nah! They can keep him and his inflated salary Ta very much.

5.) 13 Jul 2020 16:36:04
Ayew is mince no thanks.

6.) 13 Jul 2020 18:02:58
Hope not.

7.) 13 Jul 2020 18:30:54
That's mince pal.

8.) 13 Jul 2020 18:54:45
Ayew is good but not as good as Morelos.

05 Jul 2019 18:25:34
I posted a few months ago about a rumour I heard regarding Gestede. I heard again today from a different person that he is on Gerrards radar as a replacement for Morelos. Could be BS, don't know the lad who told me too well but worth passing on the rumour.

j1985

1.) 05 Jul 2019 18:57:50
We have an older but much more reliable striker in Defoe. If we need to bring in another striker, I am led to believe that we will once again be looking for someone 25 years old or less. So Gestede is unlikely.

We are also going to face losing Kamara as lower EPL teams are looking to acquire him.

2.) 05 Jul 2019 20:04:46
well hope those teams are prepared to pay top dollar

fact we signed him 50k means bugger all now

if they want 16/ 18m for ntcham wots kamara worth.

3.) 05 Jul 2019 20:54:04
Weird criteria for a team trying to win the league, a replacement for Morelos must be 25 or under lol. I presumed if the player was available at the right price and would do a turn it wouldn't matter of he was 21 pr 31?

4.) 05 Jul 2019 21:21:35
That’s a joke surely.

5.) 05 Jul 2019 22:19:06
I have heard that morelos is to go then we might look at sturage to replace plus a young striker with potential.

{Ed033's Note - Is this someone called Stu Rage or Daniel Sturridge? :)

6.) 06 Jul 2019 15:48:28
If Morelos does go McBurnie would be the perfect replacement would love tae sign Sturridge as well.

7.) 06 Jul 2019 16:46:29
Mcburnie! Lmao best one yet.

07 Mar 2019 16:20:00
Heard a rumour today and just sharing. Don't know the lad but we got talking and he's a Rangers man and he's said that Rudy Gestede from Boro being considered as a potential replacement. Apparently the rumour has been doing the rounds in his local boozer in Airdrie.

Don't know if there is any substance, like I say I never knew this guy before today so don't shoot the messenger.

j1985

1.) 07 Mar 2019 22:11:09
Local boozer in Airdrie laughable the new mecca of transfer rumours.

2.) 08 Mar 2019 06:28:50
Instead of a minority on here who keep TRYING to ridicule any other bear, who's only sharing what he's heard, try and contribute instead of continually trying to put other supporters down all the time! Its a rumours page after all. This facility is for rumours amongst us all, to debate, instead of a continual few rubbishing anything, their fellow supporters post in! Git the fish and chips off your shoulders and act like fellow bears, ie. discuss opinions, don't repeatedly sconce others!

3.) 08 Mar 2019 06:57:49
Stevie G drinks in the staging post!

4.) 08 Mar 2019 09:01:44
think Gestede would be a decent singing, different to what we have. Hada good spell at Blackburn a coupel years ago and didn't quite cut it at EPL but reckon the physical game in scotland would suit him.

5.) 08 Mar 2019 09:22:42
SC11 I think you’ll find that 9 times out of 10 it’s not what you’ve supposedly heard that’s the problem. You come across as arrogant and speak to everyone like you’re our school teacher. You continually contradict yourself and end up looking like an absolute clown, and don’t get me started on your ridiculous polls. It seems to me you are now just feeling sorry for yourself.

6.) 08 Mar 2019 09:32:56
I was backing up j1985.He was only passing on what he heard

7.) 08 Mar 2019 12:54:22
This chap Gestede has only scored 4 goals this season. No big deal, not good enough for the Gers.

8.) 08 Mar 2019 14:16:21
Sharpshooter NAIL ON THE HEAD!

9.) 08 Mar 2019 16:19:47
Again sharpshooter spot on. Coop the amount of drivel you spout on here is it any wonder there is a queue to have a go at you. 👍.

10.) 09 Mar 2019 01:35:10
I've said where the rumour has come from. I don't have some elaborate link to the club. It was a Rangers man telling a fellow bluenose what he'd heard. The purpose of this page is to share rumours so regardless of where I get a rumour from I'll continue to share, inspite of the one sentence wonders with nothing constructive to say.

16 Jan 2021 17:37:56
Wright all but done, don't know much about the boy but trust our recruitment.

John Lundstram is next for Ross Wilson I'm being told. Pre contract from Sheffield United.

No other significant ins or outs this window unless we get a huge offer for one of our big assets (Borna, Kent, Alfie) .

Expecting a pretty quiet window which isn't a bad thing considering where we are.

j1985

1.) 16 Jan 2021 17:41:29
I haven't seen much of Wright, but what I have seen makes me think he could do well for us. He is fast and has an eye for a great pass. Should easily improve on Barker, Stewart, Jones.

2.) 16 Jan 2021 18:21:39
Blades fans not worried about Lundstrum leaving, his distribution is poor -they say.

3.) 16 Jan 2021 18:22:54
BizzmyBrox, will get slated here, but I think he also is more of a goal threat than our current left sided player.

4.) 16 Jan 2021 18:51:44
DEEB - Blades fans may be saying that about Lundstrum because he's not renewing his contract there. Sour grapes my friend. Lundstrum is a smashing player. What do I know though, I'm only an oil and gas engineer.

5.) 16 Jan 2021 18:55:31
Who ever said Lundstrum coming to Ibrox?

01 Jan 2020 02:13:47
I've been critical of Tav this season, particularly after the Young Boys game in Switzerland however I thought he had his best game in a Rangers Jersey on Sunday. Looked so assured defensively and with the emergence of Barasic at lett back there isn't that pressure on him to he our sole contributor going forward from full back. I see Kent and Borna are on set piece duties too, hopefully this performance can be the catalyst for a improved second half of the season for Tav.

Wonder is Mark Wilson still has Frimpong ahead of Tav in his old firm 11 eh? I see the young lad has went from hero to zero with the Celtic faithful after Sunday, oh my days!

j1985

1.) 01 Jan 2020 10:32:03
I wonder who gerrard has selected as our new penalty taker now? He said before the old firm game that he told the player who he's chosen for penalty duties, so that IF we got a penalty against them at breezeblock boulevard (fat chance of that), there would be no confusion as to who was to take it. I after a good think about it would let barisic take our penalties! He has a very cultured,
accurate, wicked left foot! What's other bears thoughts on this? 🤔.

2.) 01 Jan 2020 10:52:21
Apparently nine of the combined OF 11 were darksiders? Joke! And I heard some one say yesterday that every one of their subs on Sunday would have been first picks for us! Just keep thinking that pal, I said, that'll do me just fine 😁😁.

3.) 01 Jan 2020 15:34:32
Seeker, ime surprized at your post mate. i thought you. Knew that's how it works, lol. happy new year to you and your family mate.

31 Dec 2019 00:36:05
Anyone else spot Brown whacking Tav at the corner where Clancy awarded them the pen? Another incident that the ref missed and media failed to highlight. If it was Alfie you could guarantee the press would be all over it.

j1985

04 Jun 2019 23:37:16
If Morelos goes for in excess of £10m then we should be looking at Jay Rodriguez of WBA. Apparently he's available for £5m (release clause - I assume was added if WBA failed to get promotion to the PL)

Hope this is the calibre of player Stevie G is looking at, 29 year old, premier league experience and although he's had his injury issues he's scored goals wherever he's been.

j1985

1.) 05 Jun 2019 13:29:47
He is a good player but 5m for a 29 year old is too big for us to pay when we probably won't get much out the other end. Could only see us spending that amount on a younger player with room to grow that we can sell on for a profit.

03 Jan 2019 14:02:36
No disciplinary action against Morelos as per reports online. Thank God the SFA have seen sense and all the tims and press can wind their necks back in.

Thought John Beaton had an excellent game. Wasn't card happy, let the game flow and used common sense throughout.

j1985

1.) 03 Jan 2019 14:21:47
Must admit i think he is lucky to escape a ban. He really needs to screw the nut. Yes, go in hard as he normally would, but cut out the silly kick outs and petulant flicks. They will be watching him closer than ever now. We need him on the park, not sitting in the stand.

2.) 03 Jan 2019 14:26:02
Good news indeed, but he continues doing daft things that could get him in trouble. I agree that John Beaton had an excellent game, football is a physical game and a card happy ref can ruin it.

3.) 03 Jan 2019 14:47:08
Very surprised but relieved. Queue the meltdown from the east.

4.) 03 Jan 2019 15:13:24
i honestly don't think there was ever a chance he was going to get suspended. The "incidents" were trivial and didn't warrant a red card. stupid to do them but nothing in them

and due to the fact the sfa create a line when rescinded his red against sheep on day one meant they couldn't ban him as these were by far and away a lesser "offence" than the kick at ocooner.

5.) 03 Jan 2019 15:25:06
Just read that “big nose Sutton “ is calling the SFA shambolic for not finding Morelos guilty, no one was hurt last week, it’s not as if they were serious challenges, big nose reminds me of a baby who doesn’t get his food on time, always yapping. Ok Morelos is no saint, but was Sutton? or is Brown? People have short memories, especially that clown with the big snout.

6.) 03 Jan 2019 15:49:59
Watched the game again last night
The ref gave a foul for kicking Browns nuts and was in a completely unobstructed view for the other two incidents.
To go against the ref's decision of a foul would have been a big decision and to say the ref saw what happened, chose to take no action would be a huge decision -tantamount to saying ref was totally cheating
but Fredo does need to screw the bobbin.

7.) 03 Jan 2019 15:48:45
Think SG needs a word with El Buffalo. Every area of Press/ Media going to be on his back for every reaction he makes. Time he realised this and screwed the nut. My initial reaction on thought of Defoe and Davis coming was one of salivation. But also Defoe might help Buffalo to calm down.

Ok John, I'll rephrase that. As often as any normal fan with a full time job and family.

You are missing the point here, I have said I am disappointed that our academy players aren't getting a chance when we have gave valuable game time to players such as Joe Worral, Ejaria and Ojo over the last few seasons. Are you telling me, with your superior knowledge of our academy players, that none of our boys are better than these 3 players I have mentioned?

@John25, saying he struggled go get a game for Dundee last season would suggest you don't fancy him getting into our first team, no?

As for how often and for how long I've watched the youth players at Rangers I would say as often as any other fan can really. Its hard to make any judgement without seeing them play first team football and that was my point. We have given other clubs players more first team opportunities than our own academy players.

@John25, Harry Kane sat on the bench at Leicester at 19/ 20. I wouldn't write McPake off just yet, what I would like is to see SG actually back our academy every now and again. This is year 3 and not one player has broken through. You can't tell me there isn't a better young prospect in our academy than Joe Worrall, Ejaria, Ojo, Sadiq, Grezda etc. I'm really disappointed with the lack of player development under the manager.

McPake has been impressing at all levels but just can't quite make the breakthrough to the first team. It's a shame because players like him and Middleton would have benefited from the game time we gave Ojo last season. Hopefully McPake, Kelly, Mayo and the other boys come back next season ready to push for first team football. Hood luck to the boys.

I've not seen him play, anyone who says they have is talking nonsense and as for trusting the manager on signings, there isn't one at the club right now, with the exception of Arfield and McGregor, that has turned out a huge success in his two seasons. Gredza, Jones, Davis, Ojo, Worrall, Sadiq and Barker have all been pretty poor signings. Goldson, Kamara and Defoe haven't been consistent enough and both Goldson and Kamara have made horrendous mistakes to cost us important matches last season. Helander can't be judged as he hasn't played enough football, Kent hasn't done it (yet), Aribo falls into the same category, Hagi has pass Marks this far and Katic too, Barasic has had a good half season and needs to improve on where he left off before lockdown. The crown jewel of our team is a Pedro signing (Morelos) which is mind boggling considering the time and money Gerrard has had.

Its honestly comical sirstruth. On Talksport the day after the game moaning about the way Gerrard slapped Lennons hand rather than shook it. Gerrard doesn't need lessons on how to behave off a guy who kicks team mates in the face.

If any grown adult is truly offended by Alfie or Kent's gesture then they need to take a long hard look at themselves. Sutton and Hartson have been an embarrassment in the wake of the old firm game. I had to pinch myself to see if I was dreaming when listening to Hartson on Talksort the other morning. And Sutton with the gestures and Gerrard over celebrating is an all time low even for that man. Klopp gets praised for his passion week in week out for the same level of celebration as Gerrard showed on Sunday. can't wait to see the reaction when we win this league.

The ref was terrible. Christie got booked for a foul and then less than 10 mins later he handled the ball whilst he was on the ground just outside our box which the ref gives as another foul, he should have gone for that as it was a deliberate hand ball. Worst refereeing performance in a long time, just glad it never cost us.
