First time in a long long time I've watched rangers with a smile on my coupon! Last 2 games tav's had his best in a rangers jersey. I was all for moving him up into midfield to allow flaninho to go rb and Barisic lb but Candeias is making himself difficult to drop. Good to have these problems, players now having to earn a start. Morelos is making himself undroppable at this rate, The wee man is rubbish hot!
Apparently Good players don't need time to gel because they are good players (SG) . well fu@k me I can't wait to see us after another half dozen games.
No one likes us, we don't care.

According to sky the deal for Murphy is not as close as some have rumoured. big difference in ££'s! Hope not but I can see this dragging on like the Dorrans affair. I know it's very early days in the window but with every British target we go for it turns into a bit of a circus.
This window we could do with but not including returning loans, Winger and striker, solid centre mid and solid centre half.

Sky has been outed on twitter as really not knowing anything, sources close to the player and guys that are usually much more accurate are saying 800k or thereabouts and the deals done, some of twitter is p1sh but some are usually well in the know if you look for it

Well if I had Jamie Murphy I would want at least 3-4 milllion if I was also in charge of Windass I would be looking for 3 mill plus add ons. Windass has plenty of potential at a good age, if this does happen could end up being another bad bit of business for us

Was it really that much of a shock? After the shitey display at ibrox and the manner in which we fannied about in the first half I think we passed the ball back more than forward! do we not practice shooting in training? No excuses about parking the bus, made it hard etc this was fu@king awful, at least we don't need to go and get pumped next Tuesday now and we can hopefully batter on with pre season playing against some under 11 teams to get moral up.

Yes was a major shock although we would have lost out to a skilful Cypriot side in the 2nd qualifying round if we had got through. Pedro needs to accept responsibility for his selection. This was no time for experimenting and clear to me that Holt and McKay should have started.
Would also have started with Waghorn as think very unfair to give the Colombian boy his debut on such an occasion and he failed to disappoint. Big test of Pedro's character, skill and knowledge of the game and leadership abilities now. First of all he needs to accept responsibility and establish some grip within the football department. I wish him well.

So how much time did we lose trying to get Dorrans in. If we had just paid the money at the time and had in the team perhaps we would have already made back the £500k or so we had tried to save in transfer negotiations. Not saying one man makes a team, but.

We get rid of Pedro who comes in, Macleish, god help us all!, or McInnes, (who in four seasons when there was no competition he failed miserably to take the league.
We are still suffering from administration and losing our quality players. Pedro has tried to bring in players on a reasonable budget that he hopes will do a job but in reality he has still had to go with the cheap option at a time when Celtic can spend £5m on one player. It will take time for the team to knit and we are still carrying crap from the Warburton and McCoist era. I am still hopeful that he will turn things round, especially with Dorrans but he needs two full backs and he needs all his new players to be match fit and in the team!

So Apparently the dorrans deal has been rejected again! It does my tits in this going in low. The other targets had a valuation which we met no questions asked, secured the player move on to the next. Dorrans for me could be the most significant signing this summer yet we are fannying about over a few hundred grand! Boils my piss.

Best way to do business with an English club, (as long as it works) if we went in higher they would ask for more still and we could end up paying a few hundred thousand more than he's worth.
A few hundred thousand could be s player like Dorrans wages for the season.

I have to agree with magoo here, Dorrans is already a bargain, just find some compromise with Norwich get this one done ✅.
I have seen players valued at 2 or 3 times that, that are not as good as Dorrans.
And I also think why we're the more risky Latino players done without any fuss over the price. Dorrans is a bargain.
Also I think we're going to need a Dorrans type to make the chemistry of this new squad seem right. Otherwise I wouldn't know what to expect. With Dorrans there it gives us the balance that is going to be needed with all these foreign imports.
I completely understand the opinion that we can't go back the way and pay over the odds for players. I would hate that. But in this case if we pay between 1.2 million and 1.5 million, that for me falls into the category of a absolute steal.
When I heard the amount we bid last night for him - I knew it was going to refused, and was quite dissatisfied.
For me Norwich have every right to demand more!
Rangers must know what Norwich would settle for, so I say pay up! And I thought he was meant to be one of Peds top targets?
As much as this window has been good, if lost out on Dorrans it would leave a nasty taste in my mouth.

The board have got some highly rated players at very good prices they clearly know what they are doing as does our manager.

We're close to being a decent team! We've started fairly well in my opinion and beginning to control games, another 5/ 6 matches the team will be a bit more familiar with each other and then onwards and upwards! Stop greeting man we have more or less a new first team
