Ryan hardie promoted to senior team from youth set up for this season. Youth is getting it's chance at last. Best of luck to the kid. :-)

I can't be the only one who doesn't think he's that good. Hopefully MW will sign a pacey striker with an eye for goal. I don't think Ryan hardie is the answer to the goalscoring problems we have. I would put Clark and temps up top and give it a go

2.) 12 Jul 2015 13:24:03
Hardie deserves a shot but he is a squad player at best. Maybe he can develop but we can't rely on that.

Neither can we rely on Clark and Templeton, they have both been failures and have had plenty chances. Tempelton is frustrating as he has the talent but has wasted it.

3.) 12 Jul 2015 13:24:13
Have a word with yourself Love it, the kid broke into the 1st team under McCall and will be hoping to progress under Warburton and Weir and all you have to say is he's not good enough. How about keeping your negativity to yourself and give the kid a chance.

4.) 12 Jul 2015 14:06:06
good luck Ryan give it your all

5.) 12 Jul 2015 14:35:55
I agree with love it

6.) 13 Jul 2015 11:26:09
I think the boy lacks a bit of strength maybe that can be worked on in pre season but the boy has stacks of ability in my opinion

7.) 13 Jul 2015 18:44:02
Walsh, murdoch and sinammon also now officially first team players and no longer with youth squad.

8.) 13 Jul 2015 19:00:55
Better correct my last post before an art smarse does lol. By first team players I mean in the first team squad, not necessarily regular starters. ;-)

Just back from taking my eldest to his first game tonight. He loved it. Another good performance, halliday absolutely ran the show. Zelalem was tidy and linked well with oduwa and Wallace. Ball looked good again and tavernier goal was outstanding to wrap things up. Know Clark gets a lot of stick on here but took his goal well and his all round play was very good imo, didn't do much wrong at all and I think he will improve as season goes on. Same with shiels, talked zelalem through the game, worked hard and scored a decent goal too. Good to see hardie getting a run out also although he didn't do much tbf. The magic hat chants made my kid smile too lol. Happy household. :-)

It is Burke not mcburnie you are talking about Bathgate bear. Mcburnie was with the Scotland squad and hit the post with a header against mexico.

SR essentially said at narsa that the new strips will not be available to buy until after the sports direct contract expires on 31/ 07/ 18. Add that to the rumour that jd sports will be the new supplier at a more profitable running cost for us and it doesn't take rocket science (or an inside source) to see what is happening. Release them earlier, especially the orange one, and we line ashley's pockets instead of our own. Wait, we make more money and Ashley doesn't get another penny off us. Win, win. Puma contract is up so I'd expect to see the new strip in the upcoming bury and wigan friendlies and euro qualifiers too.

Yes, he tweeted that. He also tweeted it at a time of day when everyone else was at training. He was in none of the training pics today. Why wasn't he if he wasn't 'sent home and told to find another club'?

Relax bear72. 100% that won't happen. Confirmed by the boys uncle (on another site) who took him to and from the last under 20's game. He might not stay with us long term but definitely not joining another Scottish club.

Tbf, tomusa, dembele was never close to being within our current price range. The fee was £500k which we could've afforded easily enough and we could also have agreed to him recieving a a healthy percentage of a future transfer fee as celtic have apparently done but we couldn't have matched his signing on fee (which I'm led to believe was hefty) or his reported £32k per week wages. Just not in our current ball park unfortunately. Celtic will receive a huge fee for him eventually imo but there won't be anywhere near as big a profit in it as we will be led to believe once he gets his cut etc.

Sports direct's contract ends 31/ 07/ 18. We will have a new merchandise partner on 1st of August (allegedly jd sports) . Makes zero sense financially for us or jd sports (If it is them) to release the strips before that date as ashley would get a huge windfall, our new partners would lose out substantially and we would make less money given ashley still gets 50% currently iff bought through his stores. It's as simple as that folks. Patience.

6 of the 10 outfield players that finished the match were 23 or under. 3 of them (beerman, bates and barjonas) have played less than a dozen first team games between them. Dodoo hasn't much more first team experience than that either. Windass, the oldest of the six, has been a backup at best all season and hardly played. Mackay, the most experienced, is still playing in his first full season in top flight football, which everyone too readily forgets.

We had another 2 teenage potential debutants on the bench. That has to be the youngest, least experienced rangers team to ever take to the field in a league match in our history. Let that sink in for a bit, all the critics on here, before roasting them for winning a football match despite playing as poorly as we have all season!

Tbf to the op Hooly I actually think we were much better today than we were in the cup game, albeit we didn't score as many. In the cup game Hamilton looked threatening and we had quite a few dodgy (lucky) moments. Today we were completely dominant and hardly gave them a sniff. We were so much better in numerous ways, tempo, pressing, mixing up our play, goalkeeper distribution, defensive awareness etc. It's the first time all season I've felt comfortable the whole way through the match. I really, really enjoyed that today.
