Daniel Sturridge to sign a deal within the next two weeks. I'm hearing a massive wage cut but the possibility of becoming a Rangers coach after retiring made the deal convincing.

Mark Allen knows Sturridge well from his Manchester City days and was desperate to keep a hold of him before his shock switch to Chelsea in 2009. You obviously don't need told where the connection lies with Steven Gerrard. This deal is very much on the cards here.

Sturridge is 29, not sure he's thinking about coaching. I'd love Sturridge to sign, can't see it though.

He'd be like Rossiter except about 7 times more expensive.

Can't see that happening, great talent but terrible luck with injuries we don't get lucky with injury prone players. plus I doubt he'd fancy taking too much of a wage cut.

The Sturridge thing is utter rubbish not going to happen at all we can’t afford him, he’s far to injury prone and he’ll get another epl club no problem at all. Now stop talking rubbish.

Cant see it happening hardly spent a penny on transfer fees so can't see splashing out a fortune in wages to sturridge.

Andy Cargill, Sturridge left Man City 3 weeks before Allen was appointed.
