Any truth in the rumours that HMRC over taxed rangers and sir David Murray and BDO are set to sue? The real amount wouldn't have been enough go see rangers go out of business and subsequent liquidation may never happen?

the truth is HMRC never collects the full amount of taxed owed on a taxable benefit. I used to work in that department and beneficial loans were never even calculated properly by that department for most of the years I was there. its not a tax killer. their biggest win was always the tax to be collected by operating the system of payments properly.

Players losing wages, creditors losing revenue, most importantly we lost out on european football that season docked all those points helpin those rats win the league . Worst of all they introduced us to craig whyte and charles green.

I wonder if the taxmaen responsible are season ticket holders somewhere. lol

Being the taxman of course it will never come out as they just don't talk to you, unless you owe them money, or they decide you do

Strange the BBC are completely ignoring this story, isn't it? They spent licence-payers money making that documentary based entirely on lies to suit their own agenda - thought they'd maybe want to clear that up, but the bias is clear and shameful.

HMRC are the government never forget that. The government are experts in creating thousands of sub-divisions with the aim of deflecting responsibility away from themselves. HMRC being just one.
