Good to see king signed deal, pity only two years. So same debate will happen in 18 months.

John25 could depend on how much game time he gets.

Player probably wanting two years to see if he gets a chance or not.

He won’t be first team b4 18. We have a policy not to give longer contracts to boys so they keep trying and don’t get comfortable
Next big name is a Ayrshire boy called Rory Wilson. 14 and already six foot. Was in quatar. Playing under 18 already. Midfield goal scorer.

young King is probably only signing for two years because if he has any sense he will surely realise like almost all of our youngsters he probably has no chance in hell of breaking into the first team squad, seldom if any ever do these days, so my question is this, what exactly is the point of having an academy with practically none graduaets? makes you think?

I think that's the longest a 16 year olds allowed to sign for first professional contract. Might be wrong though. Hoping the lad breaks through but gets some protection and understanding from our support. Everything I have heard is he has a big future just need to show patience with him. He will make mistakes but will find out about his character with how he deals with them.
