It’s the same when you have a bad opinion of a player everyone jumps on you and tells you your not supporting rangers unless your positive aye sound barker is world class and everything he does is 10/ 10 can’t be negative guys.

Can anyone explain to me how Brandon barker is a Rangers player? A still think we need 2 wingers, people who are not afraid to really go for it, our centre midfielders don’t contribute anywhere near enough goals or assists it’s the same story as last season.

Barker has couple good runs in a friendly that means he should play! Prefer to see jones or Murphy getting a chance before them.

After watching today’s game I would rather have had jordon Jones come off the bench and really take players on than barker and honestly have no idea why Sg took off arfield instead of Kamara, we were passing side to side then with the occasional cross but never really took the ball past Any1 for most the game, the defence was able to cope with most of livi’s few attacks, felt Helander struggled a wee bit with the physicality of the boy up front for them. But we looked very much like last season when we couldn’t break teams down. I am on the fence with morales as without him I didn’t see too much from Roofe and itten but he also annoys me hitting random shots in the build up and just bouncing the ball off defenders. Yes 1 in 10 or so go in but there’s normally a better option than attempting shots with your back to goal.

If we are losing or drawing and need a goal A real a game changer can anyone say They get Excited with one of those lot coming on? We need at least one quality winger same standerd as Kent but obviously that costs money.
I know Itten and Roofe are not fully fit and settled yet but at least when they come on I had some confidence/ excitement that something could change
it was not to be today but that’s how we should feel after any attacking substitution unfortunately I don’t get that with barker Murphy or Jones I personally think they are not good enough.

Kamara strolled the game, no reason to take him off. The finger should be pointed at Gerrard for his inept tactics. Players are not to blame for sideways passing, this was caused by poor tactics. 👍.

A good manager uses what they have, I think JJ has more than enough to contribute in spfl games. Can't always just throw money at players, sometimes need to use what's there.

To be fair to barker he didn’t do any worse than Hagi whom he replaced. i think we were too slow in possession lacking creativity. Could have taken Kamara or jack off and added a forward. Morelos instead of coming so deep at times coin have been dragging defenders left and right creating space for Kent, Arfield Hagi etc to get through.

Barisic and Tav are attacking full backs. When Tav goes forward, jack slots in to cover for him. Kamara does the same for barisic.

If our players are unable to do things off their own back then they don’t deserve to be at Rangers. 👎.

Of course it is, morelos is the player central and he's surrounded so we go sideways or backwards because our tactics and set up is all wrong. Gerrard's fault. 😉👍.

Jamie Murphy should be involved, he would be for more effective than Barker, Hagi, Arfield and before we get the usual their different position nonsense Kent can play left or through the middle and cover any of these positions.

6 counties according to sky player map our most forward player was barisic, hence reason kamara plays to cover him.
I find it so difficult to work out how u don’t understand the basics.

John I understand the basics, but I agree with 6counties 2 defensive mids aren’t essential plenty of very good teams operate with one defensive midfielder. The bottom line is we need more creativity and Jack and Kamara can’t play a 50-60 yard pass, they work hard especially off the ball but too many sideways pass give teams so much times to get organised witch makes it harder to break them down.

I understand where you’re coming from John but they also don’t dominate the ball like we do, 80% is a hell of a lot of possession and to not be able to score a single goal with stats like that tells me there’s something wrong, the fact that we pack the midfield and dominate possession means the only thing that so called lesser teams can do is sit in and play on the counter, and yes that does make it difficult to make defence splitting 50-60 yard passes but it’s all relative. If you give up a little space in the middle of the park and encourage teams to come at you a little it inevitably creates spaces in behind, we are a far superior team to most teams in the league it’s not all about clean sheets we should invite teams to have a go and then blow them away! Just my opinion but that game yesterday just made me feel like nothing has changed from last year. 🤷🏽‍♂️.
