Heard Billy Gilmour being loaned to Rangers hinges on Champions League Qualification to group stage.
Time will tell if correct but if we didn't have enough incentive already to get there prestige and financially to get him in team next year would be some coup for us.

He’s too good for rangers. But imagine selling kamara for £20m and signing gilmour on loan for what? £2m a season. That’s unbelievable business. Fingers and toes guys.

Punter…. It would toughen him up surely? Not saying he’s not tough but he’d definitely benefit from it I think. Thought he retained possession immensely last night. He’s definitely going on to big things.

I certainly would love to have wee billy gilmour back at rangers for at least a one year loan deal 🙏The scottish 'xavi' would be a cracking short-term signing for us, no doubt about that 👌.

Well yes Tom mate but it comes hand in hand mate, if we weren’t in this rubbish league there’s not a player in this earth too good for rangers or Celtic, but that’s the way it is mate.

Gilmour left us for a premier the league for better development, better class of player to play against.

Would you rather play against Pogba, Philips etc or scott brown. no brainer.

Anyway wages Gilmour will be what makes you think we can afford him!

My
Personal oppinion is Billy gilmour will go on to be the best Scottish player, certainly of the modern era, if not ever. I think he’s something else. I think his style is suited to Barcelona and I could see him playing for them. Just a theory though .

His ball retention is top class never wasted a pass last night.

Why would Chelsea want him to drop down to the spl while supposobly premier league clubs want him playing at a much higher level. non starter for me.

That loud enough pal. The guys world class. Go listen to josh windlass on open goal yesterday
And I quote “kenny (Miller) sai see him he’s going to be better than xavi. Windlass said fuxk off him, he’s 15.
Miller said he’s unreal. So they put him in 1st team training, someone zoomed a baw in, he 1 touched it past them n went n started firing all sorts a balls into the box”. End quote!
Windlass said they used to get the train together to training n he wants his train fare back 🤣🤣👌🏻 Billy gilmour is a world class mid fiat 19 what’s he like at 25? Better than rangers pal ye a that’s what I said?

If he’s not in managers immediate plans it would make sense to loan him to Rangers for initial 6 months if we are in Champions League.
Regular 1st team football in a side who have good recent record of developing youth players in first team squad.
A couple of derbies, trips to Pittodrie, Easter Road, Tynecaste, Tannadice and 6 games against best sides in Europe.
Even if recalled in January I genuinely think it would suit both parties.
I initially said he wouldn’t be allowed to leave to go up north but like I said I think the 6 Champions league games could entice Chelsea to loan him to us and for him to come and play.

Nah we had no chance of holding onto him punter. In the end, money always talks. We did everything we could possibly do bar make the boy a millionaire.

I will be amazed if Gilmour is not an important member of the Chelsea Squad for next Season. His performance on Friday against England where he was easily the best midfield player on the pitch should guarantee that.

Too good for Rangers, that statement does exist. BG is an outstanding young talent but to realise his dream he has to paly mens football every week. He could do that under SGs stewardship and world class coaches in the SPL and hopefully CL or EL no bother.

Guys, let's clear something up, we DID NOT want rid of Billy Gilmour, the lad and his Parents agreed that it was better for him to move to Chelsea for his future development in a better quality league, that's why what ingerr stated is spot on. Good luck to the kid whatever or wherever he goes, he will be World Class, not just at that level yet though.
