He did say talking to a youth coach who said Wilson desperately want pro contract at rangers. Also wants opportunity to be part of first team squad by 18 if he keeps progressing. Says the boy is very humble and level headed. He thinks his wage would be on par with Paterson

Cheers John25, the boy I still have high hopes for is mcpake. I think the lad is a real talent and I hope he proves his worth out on loan again. I seen 2 of his games last year for harrogate and he was a stand out. I know the standard wasn't the best but you can only play what's in front of you!

Hope this is true john, bn a long time since we have had a striker coming through the ranks, n with this guys stats at just over 15 if he keeps progressing hope he can become as prolific as marco negri before he got injured playing squash 😂😂 and with the names of the clubs chasing him worldwide his name must be firmly out their by the age of 15 which is a mean feat, esp with him playing against lads 3yrs his seniour n still banging in hattricks n being the stand out player on the pitch. Hope we can keep him and more importantly hope he keeps progressing as this could be our next star striker. All ifs and buts but at this stage u wouldn't bet against it and he is one of our own, Scotland. Hope he is our countries next leading striker. Only time will tell 👌💙.

Hopefully Josh shows up well on loan again this year. It’s his younger brother Joe I’d be looking at bringing in. He’s different gravy and walked away from pro youth to play with his mates, talented lad.

Regarding the lad Wilson, I was just reading the other day about Hachim Mastour, who signed for AC Milan at the age of 14 for half a million and was labelled the next world superstar. For various reasons his career went down the pan, he went on various loan spells and has just gone on another loan from a Serie B team to a Serie C team. He is now 23.
There are so many others, like Freddy Adu for instance, who never lived up to their early promise, so the boy Wilson's family should be doing everything they can to keep his feet firmly on the ground as his future faces so many pitfalls. Stay at Rangers where you will be nurtured, son, and give your fledgling career a chance to flourish in familiar surroundings. You have another 20 years to play yet, don't blow it early by making the wrong move now.

I think the key for McPake and Kennedy this season is consistency. Both of them had great moments last season on their loan spells but disappeared at times.
