Just received a message from a mate.
His friend works at hibs on football side.
Hibs have enquired about three players.
Arfield, loan with view to sign next year on a free. Same deal as they had re Murphy
Kelly on loan
Maxwell to buy outright. Low fee
I can't see the arfield one having any legs, other two well mb although I would not sell Maxwell.

Hearts a few weeks ago made enquiry about taking Kelly on loan. The boy has impressed preseason and understand the manager wants to keep him at Ibrox thru end of year with uncertainty over Jack. Can’t see us changing that decision just now although 25 starts at Hearts or Hibs this season would be good for the boy. Maxwell as you know is rated and believe we’ve agreed loan and pathway this season. No chance of Arfield heading to Hibs this window.

Was arfield not linked with West Brom for £3/ 4m a few weeks back. I wouldn’t be selling him he’s a big character for us and a very good player especially in old firm games. We got him on a free and he’s earned his wages without doubt.
Maxwells on loan and I could see him coming in as 2nd choice maybe season after next?
Kelly looks to be a part of our plans for the season.

John25, you know i never doubt your info pal but just can't see scott arfield going to hibs 🤔He's still got a bit to offer us and still a really good midfielder, who can still make fantastic runs beyond our striker/ front three 👌His timings of his runs can be superb at times 👌
Arfield will want to remain at rangers and what we're doing i would strongly believe! Stephen Kelly is a smashing young midfielder, who's getting better and better but i could honestly see a loan deal to hibs, being a possibility here, as he needs to now be playing week in, week out 🤔I still see kelly as a possible longterm replacement for the superb steven davis 🤔 I also wouldn't let maxwell go permanently to hibs!

Kelly reminds me of Gilmour, very intelligent for his age should be in and around first team, need to remember, he will learn more being a bit part player at rangers than on loan to another club.

I agree re Arfield SGL, you will see I say I can’t see it happening, it’s coming from a hibs contact, mb wishful thinking if the r brining in 4 million.

I agree negri, but think this is the year hr needs games, as someone else wrote 30 plus games at hibs or hearts would be fantastic for the lad.
