Latest information I've been passed on today.
As stormtrooper rightly said earlier, there appears to be no wish to recall Katic in January, with the hierarchy believed to be happy to receive a fee for a permanent transfer in the summer.
There doesn't appear to be any new interest as of yet in Morelos, which, given his recent form, and Roofes injury niggles, is music to my ears.
Former Netherlands international, Lazio and Southampton defender Wesley Hoedt, currently with Anderlecht, is being looked at as a replacement for Goldson, and Ross Wilson, who signed the player for the saints, has sent scouts over to watch him in recent times.
As someone on here recently posted, there is real interest in Racing Santander rising star Pablo Torre, who is believed to have a â‚¬4 million release clause, but would face competition from Real Madrid, who would likely look to loan him out for 12-18 months initially instead of putting him into their B team.
PSG youngster Xavi Simons is still in the club's thoughts, although a lot depends on what the players agents demands are, basically typical Rinola, highest bidder and whomever offers the most to line his pockets.
Haven't heard anything regarding Joey Veerman, although it's common knowledge that he is on the radar.

In order for Hoedt to join us he would need to take a 50% minimum wage drop. Know nothing about torre but xavi simons has just broken into PSG 1st team and made his debut highly unlikely he's moving to SPFL.

I donâ€™t believe Hoedt would be a choice to replace Goldson, possibly a replacement for Helander. Heâ€™s not the most comfortable on his right foot and we are I need of a right sided central defender.

Apparently Hoedt is on 13k p/ w at Anderlecht so we could easily double that. Most of those linked so far seem to be paper talk based on connections to manager or coaches so I wouldn't believe any truth to any of them.

Paul we've been scouting veerman for 9+months now, if you're right this was always going to be the possibility that another club came in for him, sg was a big fan of him, had we qualified for the cl I'm sure we would have signed him in the summer, not sure what gvb thinks of him, I'd love to see us signing him, he's getting great reviews in the dutch league.

Mostly is just paper talk I'd imagine lads, with a couple wee things thrown in from an ex youth development coach, who admittedly I don't see or speak to all that often these days. But he did tell me about the deal to bring Davis back days before it was in the media, so I'm assuming he must still talk to the odd person still connected to the club once in a while.
