PR stunt to sell shirts, castroe are fleecing the fans.

2.) 06 Mar 2022
06 Mar 2022 15:49:22
Sweep how are they fleecing the fans? You spout some BS on here the fans have a choice to but it or not and it was castore choice not to use it yesterday either.

3.) 06 Mar 2022
06 Mar 2022 16:20:20
I actually agree with you on this sweep1 🤔.

4.) 06 Mar 2022
06 Mar 2022 16:22:03
The rangers shop was full yesterday and queued out with our supporters purchasing our white 150th anniversary, founding fathers shirt 🤔.

5.) 06 Mar 2022
06 Mar 2022 16:24:00
Nobody makes anyone buy shirts.

6.) 06 Mar 2022
06 Mar 2022 16:46:35
Were they not buying the anniversary top because it was our anniversary. I bought one when it was released and not because they were going to play in it. don't see how anybody is getting fleeced can't get my head round that. Was a fantastic day all round yesterday but suppose you can't please everyone.

7.) 06 Mar 2022
06 Mar 2022 16:52:32
It wasn’t Castores choice that was meant to say.

Coops what part do you agree with of sweeps

As I said above wasn’t castore decision not to wear and no one needs to buy the strips.

8.) 06 Mar 2022
06 Mar 2022 17:23:35
The benefits of winning the Title and Champions League would hopefully be getting Adidas/ Nike on board! Then our strips would be in shops all over Europe like in the past!

9.) 06 Mar 2022
06 Mar 2022 17:38:09
John25 and stormtrooper of course nobody twists your arm to purchase kits but common you guys know how loyal our supporters are and undoubtedly many would be even more swayed/ inclined to buy it the day we were supposed to be wearing it🤔.

10.) 06 Mar 2022
06 Mar 2022 17:40:51
It looks like a publicity stint by the club so therefore our commercial director that was put out there we were wearing the white kit which they fine well knew would lead to much more sales stormtrooper 🤔Hope that answers your question mate🤔.

11.) 06 Mar 2022
06 Mar 2022 17:57:10
Walter I don’t agree, u obviously don’t think much of the people running us.

12.) 06 Mar 2022
06 Mar 2022 18:20:08
Look on the bright side guys because at least we are not quite at Chelsea prices as i saw that they have replica team shorts on their website and they only cost £65 for a pair.

13.) 06 Mar 2022
06 Mar 2022 18:45:51
Ok john25,why do you think we didn't wear our white anniversary shirt and listening to dave king's latest statements he thinks things are not right from within mate 🤔.

14.) 06 Mar 2022
06 Mar 2022 18:48:33
I agree with you coops 👍 no one is forced to buy but looks like the club knowingly put out statement saying we would wear that kit to push sales. If they had no intention of wearing it should never have publicly said they were.

15.) 06 Mar 2022
06 Mar 2022 18:51:39
Yately01,you mention nike and adidas possibly wanting to be on board as our kit manufacturers which could well happen in the future, as mr bisgrove did state over a month ago when a question was raised about castore, that he will always be looking for the best deal for the club and will put our kit manufacturing deal out to tender,
when that time arrives and if a nike or adidas offer a better all round deal than castore do to extend then it will be bye bye castore!

16.) 06 Mar 2022
06 Mar 2022 19:13:43
Two views one we did not have permission or as some say our players were superstitious and went to management. If true highly embarrassment .
King is stirring it, wants fan sympathy to get back on board, he realises 1872 not giving him 13 million any time soon.

17.) 06 Mar 2022
06 Mar 2022 22:19:25
We did not get permission to wear white strip as it wasn’t registered. The special request didn’t arrive in time so the club have chosen to wear at a later date . Simple but sone decide to use any excuse and stick to beat the club / board / team.

18.) 07 Mar 2022
07 Mar 2022 00:15:05
Not true molsgoals, the club have already said it was a club decision. Nothing to do with having permission.

19.) 07 Mar 2022
07 Mar 2022 04:49:51
Theres no way the club would put out a big statement about 150 and say that they would be wearing the white kit for the match in celebration. To then just not wear it 😂😂.

20.) 07 Mar 2022
07 Mar 2022 07:43:47
Some of the players did not feel comfortable playing in white on Saturday and asked to play in traditional blue.

21.) 07 Mar 2022
07 Mar 2022 08:02:01
This whole "nobody makes fans buy merch" is absolutely nonsense. The fans boycotted for years and years and will buy anything the club release. Castore are taking advantage of this. They are utter charlatans.

22.) 07 Mar 2022
07 Mar 2022 10:12:36
Tjrfc the club approve all strip releases
Mols the club confirmed they had approval to wear celebration strip once this season.

07 Mar 2022 14:01:44
Bankie, that's pushing it. Some cynics may say blatant profiteering but illegal under SFA regs. not allowed. But players under contract to club should be able to play in underwear if told. Can only see if whole first team inc subs generated complete unity in strip choice.

24.) 07 Mar 2022
07 Mar 2022 15:45:07
MBW, there was complete unity on strip choice on Saturday. After 4 or 5 piped up entire team and squad wanted to play match in our traditional colours.

I believe that Bisgrove is the best thing that has happened for us commercially for many years since he knows how to generate revenue and the more income we can generate then hopefully the more funds we have to bring in quality players.
The merchandising of the white strip has been good and I suspect that most of those that have bought the strip would have done so anyway, irrespective of whether we were playing in white on Saturday or not.

As for the King / Parks spat, whether there is Board unrest and whether Parks used the dispute with CINCH for his own Business purposes is a separate discussion. What I want to know is how we will fund the quality players that we need to bring in this summer irrespective of whether we win the league or not because by my reckoning we need a minimum of five or six, all of who are first team starters, (and that assumes that we do not sell any of our current top players, (Morelos, Kent and Aribo) .

26.) 07 Mar 2022
07 Mar 2022 20:27:55
BB agree. The commercial manger is doing a good job. As for the funds in the summer. I really can’t see Aribo, Kent or Kamara not being sold. I have a funny feeling this team for next year will have more steel. John 25 agree again, King not getting his 13 million from 1872 so stirring it.

27.) 07 Mar 2022
07 Mar 2022 21:34:58
I agree reference King, Windy, but I would suggest that he was being somewhat optimistic to believe that this would happen.
Economically, money will be tighter for most people in 2022 and beyond, just as it was in 2021 due to C.V.. Add to that the fact that anyone that wants to invest more in Rangers would surely rather invest in fresh stock, giving the money direct to the Club and in the process, hopefully seeing those funds reinvested in quality new players!

Absolutely correct Berkshire. Majority of major shareholders would rather put money in clubs pocket than kings.
