Lots of rumours on Aston Villa sites of a move for Tav in the summer fir a fee of 7m. He's prob 1 player we can't sell especially after selling Patterson but it's going to be open season with so many of our players nearing the end of contracts.

Tav would want to stay in my opinion. He's played through lower league football to league champions to top end of European football with us.

Livibear, he seems to be a loyal type of guy, however, this might be his last chance of BIG money for him and his family. If an offer comes in, he will be away imo.

Guy has served us well. Hope he stays but money talks. Will be interesting to see what happens in the summer❤️🤍💙.

If villa or any club for that matter are able to sign our captain james tavernier, it undoubtedly will be a massive loss to rangers and only then will the tav doubters realise what we've lost 🤔He'd be so very difficult to replace with the stats this guy has tallied up 🤔 However i personally think and of course hope tav will stay with rangers 🙏He so loves our club and our supporters 👍🇬🇧.

7m? So they have just taken his value from Transfermarkt? Let's not worry he's contracted till 2024.

£7m for a player that will be 31 in October, not bad business that. If he played at the levels he has for the last 3 months for a full season then I would say absolutely no we can’t lose him. However, would he get in Villa team ahead of Matty Cash? Would he give up European football, villa ain’t getting near Europe anytime soon? Would he give up chance to win silverware? I do believe he loves the club and fans. The money would be the only reason he would go in my opinion. Would think though if we win a couple more trophies this season he’ll be on for an improved deal anyway and that could be enough for him. Not always his biggest fan but wouldn’t want to lose him.

We shouldn't be selling any of our top quality players, we need to get them signed on new contracts and supplement the squad with top notch platers to replace guys like McGregor and Davis that will most likely leave when their contracts expire.
Watching today's game we are massively in need of a quality winger on the right and a striker.
On past performance over the last two seasons I fear that it will not happen. Just more characters like Wright!

Berk I'd sell anyone and everyone at the right price.

I think Tav would love to have a crack at the PL, like most of our players. If a good bid comes in, he'd be off. He's happy here, but would be happy to return to England too.

55 Rangers, no point in selling our top quality players if we are not going to rep-lace them with equalliy as good or better players. We won't win the League and European trophies with guys like Scott Wright. We need to set our sets higher.

I'm hoping we've learnt our lesson from last summer, not investing in quality players, although ludstrum and sakala have done well in recent months, we need money spent this summer on this team also some good bosmans available in the summer, tough to take today, thought we'd stroll the league this season considering how both teams finished last season, we regroup in the summer and go again next season.

As much as I rate Tav' - I don't think we would turn down £7m for a player in their 30s.

7m? If he was already down there the fee would be 5 times this minimum! Top scorer in europa league and a right back? Mental.
