The rangers review who are normally knowledgeable suggest that strike were linked from Russia won't be signed as gio is prioritising other areas of the team surely another striker is a must.

I think Morelos Salazar and roofe are our 3 front men and to sign a new striker while playing one up top would be too much so someone needs to move on out of Sakala and roofe
I like both and feel Sakai is best suited comin in from left perhaps as cover for Kent? That leaves a gap for a new striker to back up alfredo amd battle roofe for the back up place.

A RW and a proper midfield player who can score semi regularly are more pressing issues.

I wouldn’t mind a project player as the 3rd striker, but I just can’t see why we should or would pay a large transfer fee for a 3rd choice player.

Auto correct as I type too quickly and one my thumbs got slashed years ago so doesn’t work great but yeah sakala is what I meant. Also itten doesn’t really count as he was out on loan last season we replaced him with sakala and also Defoe left but he never played anyway. If you play 1 up top the 3 is the right number to choose from.
Alfredo will always be first choice if h stays so if we sign a replacement for itten as has been suggested then roofe or sakala would need to move on. Unless sakala is seen as a wide player going forward similar to lovenkramdz.

Stevie, itten was out injured last season mate, i agree with you in regards the sakala and roofe situ, we know roofe can score them but so can sakala,i'dkeep sakala, as he can also score goals, the reasoni'dprefer sakala is because he isn't injury prone, and can also run like wind.
