granted there have been a few failures, but that is the football game, hastie had rave reviews and was ripping it up, he could have been another neil mcann, sadly he was more terry mcann, but he undoubtedly showed great promise

sometimes you have to act quickly, rangers did and he wasn’t up to the challenge, it’s nothing to be worried about, it’ll happen again no doubt.

Nothing against going for young Scots. Just said there's a danger in jumping after players have a couple of decent games. Loads of players wasted by old firm over the years Boyd n Miller were much more established. Hastie had couple of months and got 5yr contract.

If we can secure Harry Winks on loan it will be an an amazing stroke of business. The guy is quality but Spurs seem to be following the Manchester City Blueprint which puts him down the pecking order.
A lot depends whether Tottenham see a future for him at Spurs. If not then I can see him move on. Heard that both Everton and Newcastle are interested in a permanent transfer.

Thanks John as I've said before football is a expensive old game. If as you says we paid Hastie £5k a week, we signed him 2019 he's picked up £750k over the past 3 years. Some will have been pick up by his loan clubs but it cost us well over the £200k we getting for him. So no profit made here.
