3rd choice behind who though John? For me he’s better and more established than McCrorie, (right at this time) so would that push him down the pecking order? I’d be disappointed if that’s who we were looking at anyway. I think we need a better and bigger goalie. I don’t see Kelly ever commanding his box and taking crosses.

Always liked Kelly, completely understand why at his age he wanted away to play first team football, if he were to hypothetically come back would folk like to see him and McCrorie challenging for the number 1 jersey or would you prefer another keeper to come in to be number 1?

I would be surprised if we signed Kelly having already allowed him to leave. I agree with John, I can't see McCrorie hanging around if we sign Kelly, especially if he was to be ahead of him in the ranking.
I have said since the start of the Season, (and before), that we needed to sign a quality keeper to replace McGregor. McLaughlin was never going to be of the quality needed and arguably we should have given McCrorie the opportunity given to McLaughlin.
There are keepers out there that will be available on free transfers come the summer that are good goalkeepers, whether we could secure one of them in January for £1m remains to be seen. If not then perhaps we should give McCrorie the opportunity to prove himself.
