Good result but find it strange we played a better staring 11 at Dumbarton than we did today.

If big Dessers keeps this up, MPH, then some on this forum will be serving me up a massive slice of humble pie.
I actually thought his overall game was really good today, and on top of scoring the winner, he put himself about all through the game.
He's now got his own song, the confidence is growing, and there's definitely a bit of swagger about him. He's still as slow as a snail's pace, but he's doing what's expected of him.

Dessers took his goal well and to be fair to him 3 goals this week from 3 games is good, his overall game today was still very poor, too easily shoved off the ball, not involved enough, still no way we win the league with this guy as our main striker, if I'm wrong (and I wouldn't mind being wrong but can't see it) feel free to give me it tight at the end of the season but I'm sorry, some have the blue blinkers on with this guy, bring in a good striker before the window shuts and there's no reason we can't win the league.

Deboer I would say probably a stronger team due to being the first competitive game back after the break to getting some minutes in the legs for most players. Also with the tough park and weather conditions of the day it levelled the playing field a bit, so to make sure we went through and kept momentum.
