Laxey voting for current board because they want stability. I would imagine if the Rangers Supporters who meet them tomorrow show them photographs of many thousands of red cards wanting the current board out they as hard nosed businessmen may change their opinion. As one of the gang of four puts it a business who do not listen to their customers will not do well in business. For those who want change in 10 days there is maybe hope yet?

Laxey change their minds because thousands of fans held up red cards?

Are you serious?

That will have the effect as Manchester United supporters wearing green and yellow scarves to matches, i. e none whatsoever.

For me, the Requisitioners fight to be handed the club on a plate without investing their own money is more or less finished.

Paul Murray's great at talking the talk but after having a look at his business record recently on another Rangers site it's obvious that he's not so good at walking the walk.

For those wanting change! You may not have noticed but there have been changes in the boardroom, with only one original board member left and three new individuals joining, now the shareholders ( not Charles green) will democratically decide who stays, who goes and if any others are elected,
It is then down to those elected to turn things around, I will give them the chance to prove themselves after the AGM but I would like to see the vote going against Stockbridge

@op mate the first story wrote about laxey was how they like to start infighting in the boardroom wer the company isn't being run that well then step in and buy up the assets hence the reason why they'll vote to keep this board in place

4.) 09 Dec 2013
@ 1, 2 and 3 I bow to you superior intelligence and business knowledge- just trying to lift the feckin gloom on here with some hope for clarity and truth for the average Bear who wants a club to support now and in the future. Let's call it some cleansing- now who said that again? But we all agreed at the time.
Supporters who care by taking the time to visit Laxey and others I take my hat of to you. Actually doing something takes a lot more energy and effort than being an online know it all.

I don't think much change is needed now everything seems as if its heading in the right direction, and Ally's wage reduction started today.

All avenues for siphoning money out of Rangers have been closed, Stockbridge even if he was so inclined cannot damage Rangers, ideally he should go but we do not live in an deal world.

I think the last big hurdle to Rangers progress has been removed, I also think it would be self defeating for any fan to boycott now, the timing is all wrong.
If the fans stay loyal then they will be rewarded with further investment in Rangers, any split in the customer base will knock investment on the head.

7.) 10 Dec 2013
Agree steerpike, the salaries are the last main hurdle and the reductions should be on a permanent basis.
To all the protest groups-----it is time to support the team on the park and forget your mis-guided attempt at derailing the club.
The shareholders will decide the future and to protest further, in my opinion, will only lead to our demise. Forget the murray gang and let them drum up support from the shareholders and at 37pence a share they could even buy a few. They should put up or shut up, for the benefit of the club.
I agree that Stockbridge should go, but as far as the Easdales are concerned they have put money in the club they support. [ Unlike others that one could mention]
I still think Dave King will invest once stability reigns.

I hope Dave King invests FA till all the are gone

9.) 10 Dec 2013
@6 I agree boycotting Ibrox will damage the club. The shareholders will decide the make up of the board and everyone will have to move on after that and we will all have our own suspicions as to whether we had incompetence or worse as we will not find out for sure unless a rebel or two was voted on to the board.
Just in case anyone hasn't seen it another Gers web site did a mock poll of supporters voting where you can only vote once. At the time I looked at it 1, 050 votes had been cast which is a decent size sample of preference to be broadly representative of fans opinions which counts for nowt as the shareholders will decide however should business listen to what their customers want?

Should the following be elected/ re elected to the board?

Scott Murdoch and Alex Wilson 77% YES. 16% NO 7% UNDECIDED

Paul Murray 71% YES. 26% NO leaving 3% UNDECIDED

Malcolm Murray 59% YES, 33% NO leaving 8% UNDECIDED.

James Easdale 20% YES 76% NO leaving 4% UNDECIDED

Graham Wallace 62% YES 15% NO leaving 23% UNDECIDED

David Somers 19% YES, 76% NO leaving 5% UNDECIDED

Norman Crichton 17% YES, 40% NO leaving 43% UNDECIDED

Brian Stockbridge 12% YES 87% NO leaving only 1% UNDECIDED

N7 billyb what makes you think the easdales have put money in are they not just playing about with charlieboys shares they better keep there eye on the strings they might be about to snap

11.) 10 Dec 2013
To 8. ] With that attitude we won't have a team on the park, but I suppose your user name sums up the attitude of the protesters. You have listened too much to mis-info from those trying to get our club for nothing.

12.) 11 Dec 2013
Re9) Nbear, once again I ask someone to tell just what Murdoch, wilson and both murrays have done that they should walk onto the board, keep asking and never an answer.

13.) 11 Dec 2013
@ 12 Sorry mate I don't know either chap or really anything about them- just reporting on a "mock poll" of fans. I think the majority of us are disappointed that the "big ticket item" of the rebels-forensic examination of the accounts to give clarity to all that has gone on since Shyte bought the club from Lloyds Bank will not go ahead as the current board would appear to be winning the shareholders votes.

14.) 11 Dec 2013
N12 what have the current board done who are they what have they done since arriving at ibrox ohh and who recomended them for there current possitions

15.) 11 Dec 2013
@12 again- sorry I jumped the gun and didn't see you had asked the question of the two Murrays as well. Paul Murray told David Murray or Lloyds Bank not to sell to Shyte. He and the other 3 apparently have just under 2% of shares. Paul Murray impresses me when he speaks and he was one of the first to ask for transparency, clarity and cleansing of the Club. Other people do not like him I do which is why I voted for him in the "mock poll". Malcolm Murray I find has less of a case and I would let somebody else plead on his behalf. The unfortunate use of "no surrender" is probably not what we would want from a would be Chairman or board member even allowing for our siege mentality with the level of hostility towards our club and his attempted justification of this on Radio was pretty unconvincing- IMO

16.) 12 Dec 2013
N6 you say if fans stay loyal we will see futher investment don't make me laugh if current board remane next season we will be using borrowed youngsters from man city the current board will use next seasons st sales to give themselfs more wages these guys have no interest in rangers as a team we are their pension and how people can't see this baffles me
