Looking back to the final game of our season, I was using Jordan Campbell's ticket as he was in the press box, I was talking to one of his pals, and I mentioned something seemed to be amiss with Rangers and although Morelos wasn't trying at all the whole team seemed to be pulling back and scared to go ahead with Leverkusen, and I also thought the German team weren't fully at it either, they were allowed to pass the ball about without challenge and it wasn't till I was talking to the guy next to me that I suddenly realised why, those players knew that this was the last game they would play this season and no-one was interested in getting injuries, so I'm thinking just maybe on another European night rangers may not have allowed themselves to be passed off the pitch and therefore just maybe the game may have been much different, just a thought but an honest one,

If that is true; what you are saying is Rangers didn’t try vs Leverkusen despite it being a massive game because they were all too scared to pickup an injury because they were going on holiday the following week! If true none of them should never again wear the blue jersey. 🙄.

Would hope not mate, downing the tools has never been the Rangers way.

i hope to god that's not the case. if so any player who was involved in that game can go find themselves a new club!

The reality is Leverkusen were on a different level and we couldn't get near them.

Leverkusen was just the better team your looking to far into it.

We might not win through the Leverkusen tie however I believe Rangers will put up a much better showing in the second leg.

I did see in the news today kai havertz has asked for a move before the season starts, think chelsea are being mooted. Honestly I wouldn't put it past a team managed by gerrard to stage a seemingly impossible euro comeback.

We lost to Hamilton days before, the team were woeful for months before this game.

Leverkusen weren't at it? They were top notch, far better team on the night.

You are welcome to your opinion KJA9 but I don’t share it.

KJA9 it makes no difference to me what you think. Every game is different. Rangers could play out their skin and Leverkusen have an off night. IMO Rangers were in poor form when they played last and Leverkusen were the better team on the night. So let’s see what happens when Rangers play Leverkusen in August.
