Can anyone see Morelos putting all this recent nonsense behind him if we don't end selling him and getting his head down and start playing his best football

Or are we going to end up with an unhappy player collecting a wage While his transfer fee drops

Long enough for a transfer to go through but will it be the 16 million or above that we already declined?

For as much as we're doing well still some strange decisions being made by the club at times especially in these crazy times

On the Mccrorie issue - think we could have done better in his transfer fee

Was also surprised Hamilton had a player sent off and we were unable to capitalise on that in yesterday's game

As much as having clean sheets were still not scoring a lot of goals for the money spent so far
Although 1.0 -2.0 wins every game would be superb but watching the highlights feel we can be a goal away from dropping more points for finishing teams off

Suppose we will see how it goes

But I feel at times stevie can make it hard on himself
He even said after game he was disappointed not to have had a greater scoreline

What's everyone thoughts.

Think mcrorie issue I’d have demanded more for him plus add ins or sell on I really think he’ll do well at the sheep. Do agree we should be scoring more goals and this could bite us if not sorted. I think if any 16 million bid comes for Alfredo in this window he’s sold. I don’t think Alfredo is really going to be happy if he’s not sold. sometimes it actually becomes harder if a team go down to 10. That’s just my thoughts 👍.

We've had a 16 million bid.

I think a win is a win. Keep doing that and we'll win the league. I think we should have kept McCrorie as he would have been an extra squad member for our midfield and has potential. As for El Buffalo, either sell him now or keep him and tell him to shut up and get on with it! Having signed Itten, who is a goal-scoring centre forward, he should now give him a run. He scored 23 goals in 42 games for St. Gallen last season. Apparently Itten will be available for the next home game following his calf injury.

Again mccrorie isn't good enough, we need to offload players and try balance the books. Doherty, mccrorie, Murphy, Jones these type of " give them a chance" players need out the door pronto they had a chance n blew it and again just simply not good enough.

I think Alfie will put it behind him, eventually! He had some face on him sitting on the bench.

We got what we were willing to accept for McCrorie, yes he is a talented player but I think we can see that youth will not get the chance with SG so he could not get the consistent game time to increase his value, but he will at Aberdeen and move on from there with a decent fee, hopefully we have a sell on %.
Agree we need to be more clinical in front of goal. 24 shots against Hamilton with an 8% return, is pretty poor, but a win is a win I suppose. It could well come down to goal difference so we do need to get more ruthless.
Before they went down to 10 I got the pre season feel about the game, players were too comfy and not really driven enough to get more goal, except Kent, if all player played with his mentality then we would be hammering teams. After they went down to 10 like most I was expecting a few more but no. I think our decision making in the final 3rd is extremely poor, but that comes down to the individual player more than anything.
SG is being honest, we were all disappointed with the scoreline. I wonder if big Itten was fit if he would have went 2 up front either at the start or during the game.
I'll add that we really do need a natural wide right player as Hagi does not look to comfy out there. Not once did I see him beat his man and get a cross in when he was out there, for as poor a match Barker had he did once skin his man and put it on a plate for Roofe, only for him to miss the target. Creatively all our good work comes down the left, eventually teams will suss that.

McCrorie was apparently MOM against Hibs at the weekend. He can't be that bad!

It can be difficult to keep unhappy players. Some, like Morelos, withdraw into themselves and make it difficult to get 100% out of them.

Alphie? if he goes he goes with my best wishes but I don’t get this photo doing the rounds of him on the bench, I never knew it was compulsory to smile when on the bench, a photo is a snap shot of a moment in time we could all look like him at some moment it’s just the press sitting it up, if it was me and a bid of over £16 mill I’d take it but I’m not on the board, if he stays I’ll be right behind him as he’s a top class striker his goals in Europe earned us a lot of money last year so I’m easy either way if he goes and we receive a big transfer fee great if not and he stays we have strikers fighting for a jersey.

Mccrorie was on loan in England last season if he was as good as some are saying surely we would have had some offers from English clubs who are a lot better than Aberdeen?

Mccrorie wanted to leave. He didn't want to be a bit part player hence why he's gone to the sheep because he knows he will be one of the first names on the team sheet. You can complain as much as you like but the boy made his choice. He isn't better than Jack, Davis, Aribo or Kamara.

you just can't compare how a player is in another team. the opposition set out totally different against us than what they do against the likes of aberdeen. its easier to look good in that set up. its when playing for rangers and having to grind out results against the 10 in a box mentality its tough. that's why we need better box to box players.
