I know thos team won't happen and I know that basically no one will agree with it, but if i was given the opportunity to select our team for tonight it would be:

Mcgregor

Tav balugon helander bassey

Aribo Davies Kelly

Hagi

Morelos sakala

Don't know if Ed didn't post this last time because of the way it's written but I need to do that to get the formation, otherwise its just a list. Feel goldson needs a rest to get his head back in the game. Barasic, for me hasn't looked fit since his return. Young Kelly was a stand out in pre season so give the boy a chance. Youth thrive on games like this and you will know if he is ready after the pressure of a game like tonight. Kent also not performing well just now, and I fell we would benefit from a pacey forward playing of morelos and also just infront of hagi. Hagi has the ability amd I feel this is the position for him. Able to link with strikers, burst into box, thread a pass and shoot from distance now and again. Thoughts bears?

Kent, Borna and Goldson will start tonight as I can't see them being dropped, but they need a big performance! Kent, along with Morelos are our most destructive players, and If they both hit form tonight, and the defence stays solid, we go through.

I think your right about this orange T . Kent just looks off it to me doesn't go passed peole and always turns back although on Saturday he kept losing the ball or leaving it behind him . also agree about goldson and barasic . SG will play the 3 of them even though there not in form . Baffling at times.

Hope hagi is fit for tonight as he has the technical ability to open malmo up 🤔I've always rated hagi, he has terrific ability with both feet and a superb passing range, coupled with a very clever football brain 👌.

I would definitely start Hagi tonight, no doubt about it! I'm with you guys on that 100%! There's nobody better in our squad in finding that killer pass, or flicking on to a player running through on goal.

Playing kent on bench could be a good idea he hasn't bn playing well, he has good pace, so if u bring him on wi 25 mins to go againdt a tired team when he has a point to prove it could bring a resurgence in him. Tear them appart n bring confidence bk. I think he will start tho tbh he is one of gerrards players tht are never dropped. He may have a point to prove already with his last performance against them so will likely like to show them it was just not one of his better games and if he hits form he can be unplayable, u just never know which player will turn up. 👌💙.

It's a huge game to throw in Bassey and Kelly!
I know what you are saying though in players who have underperformed so far but don't they get the chance to prove the critics wrong?
And isn't this a time for continuity? Not more tinkering?
I would go if all fit:-

A big performance is needed / due / required from a few in my team.

I get it MPH. Just feel that if these boys are going to make any impact then sometimes being thrown in at the deep end is the answer. At the end of the day if you are good enough your old enough. Though maybe SG doesn't feel they are quite there yet. Big pressure games has been the making of some brilliant players when they were young.

Thats the team i would go for mph, aribo, hagi, kent can all provide and we need creativity. Morelos is not just a goalscorer now so can provide for them aswell and all of them 4 can also score goals. And with wright to bring on, he is a creator and can also score himself. Theirs goals in tht team, hopefully we are more up to speed and abit more settled as season just come abit too early for us, wi not having a proper preseason due too player commitments. My anticipation is building for the match already. c'mon Rangers we can do this👌💙.

Coldo a lot of past rangers teams were successful and won countless trophies with two up top. I think we need a plan b and in my opinion that would be it, but obviously not going to be everyone's cup of tea. Buff holds the ball up well, he wins everything, and having a guy with pace to play off him, or having a talented player like hagi backing him up would work for me.
