Rangers win court case to stop SPFL going to arbitration over Cinch deal.
Rangers statement:-

TODAY'S court ruling once again underlines ongoing concerns regarding the corporate governance and leadership of the SPFL.
These concerns are shared by many of the SPFL's member clubs. We have complied with the SPFL's own rules but today's court hearing was one that could easily have been avoided if those responsible had adopted a more consensual and less confrontational approach.
The Executive of the SPFL required to carry out effective due diligence before entering into its contract with the new league sponsor. Instead, an inadequate and antagonistic approach appears to have been adopted; one that it is hard to imagine is in the best interests of the SPFL's member clubs.

The league being a poor level aside it is so dreadfully ran and organised.

As a Rangers man I don’t take any satisfaction from this is just really embarrassing for the Scottish game they are really bad at what they do.

I think it means that the courts have ruled in favour of Rangers. It means we are not breaking any rules by refusing to advertise the league sponsor because it was in conflict with one of our own current sponsorship deals in place. The spfl didn't agree with this even although it's written in their own rules. They were trying to get a third party to decide who is right or wrong but Rangers took it to the courts to prevent this from happening and they have ruled in our favour so it makes them look very stupid. Where does this leave us and others then who knows we shall wait and see what happens in the near future. But from what I take from it is we have done nothing wrong. That's my take on it anyway.
