I was reading big john ' yogi' hughes praising our young midfielder stephen kelly to the hilt, when he had him on a season long loan deal at ross county last season 👌Big yogi thinks he has a fantastic career in front of him and has the full package to make it as a rangers player 👍.

Big hughes also stated that several clubs contacted him to ask his opinion of stephen kelly 🤔I know both hibs and hearts were interested in taking him on loan 🤔.

Watching Yogi on open goal a couple of weeks ago he spoke about SK extensively and said he is a fantastic player but Yogi said he lacked explosive power which he needs to add to his game other than that he said he was top drawer.

Yogi was correct, TJBB, Kelly is indeed a good player but lacks what a former Rangers player told me was 'oooommmfff' and that is the most difficult thing to add to a player's locker. Players like Gazza, wee Barry, even Stevie G himself, had it in abundance, that heady mix of energy, drive, fire, vigour and guts that propels a player to the next level. Kelly is close, but the debate is will he get there in what is probably his make or break season?
