Imho I thought that Laundstrum had his best game for us tonight. MOTM, ?

Lundstram did look better tonight. He seems to operate better when he's the centre of the 3 midfielders. That way he doesn't drift out to the right and shut out Tav or Pattersons attacking runs. He's still a bit slow in everything he does but much better aggression, passing and just general involvement. Hagi changed the game instantly. He tries to make things happen and his work rate is brilliant.

I know a lot have been shouting about Patterson playing in front of Tav. For me there's another battle at full back on the other side. Bassey was great again tonight. I love Barasic but big Bassey is playing brilliantly any time he gets a chance.

Much better all round except for Wright who had a poor game. I think Scott Wright is a terrific player. Just an off night for him.

The difference between barisic and bassey on their crossing ability and deliveries let's not be kidded fellow bears, is night and day. Barisic hands down for me!

I thought Lundstrum played really well. If the boy is given a chance, I think he'll do a job for us. There's nothing flashy about him! He does all the ugly stuff well and is always looking for the ball. Some good performances last night.

SGL, I think Barasic is terrific too mate but there can be no denying Bassey has improved immensely to the point where we don't miss Barasic quite as much if he's not playing. Bassey is quickly playing his way to becoming our next left back when and if Barasic does leave.

On form barasic is better but right now Bassey is on form barasic isn’t plain and simple.

Patterson needs more and more games just hope we keep him.

Thot lundstram bassey goldson amd balogin played well. Bacuna looks like he will be class who like hagi and aribo can operate middle 3 or front 3. Thot patterson was poor and aribo and Scott wright were terrible.

Read stats this morning storm that barisic has won more tackles made more interceptions and has better stats going forward than bassey, barisic only one with an assist against top flight opposition so far as well. Bassey always looks all action which covers up a major flaw, his use of the ball in final 3rd. Crossed it out the park at least 4 or 5 times last night.

I have to disagree re Patterson Paul86. He played really well in the first half hour and was always looking to be progressive. He tried a few 1, 2's to get in behind there defence and was succesful a couple of times. His crossing wasn't fantastic and isn't as good as Tavs right now. At the start of the second half he made a couple of great runs with the ball down the right and dribbling past a few players and taking a couple of sore ones and just getting on with it. Defensively he was solid and his positioning is excellent to cover Goldson if anything gets in behind although he wasn't challenged much. I thought it was another good performance from him but not a great one.
