The statement from our board is actually embarrassing, don't have enough staff to have a beam back to ibrox, should have been sorted n advance just incase this scenario happened, absolute joke and could have been easily sorted.

That's the solution? Unless we want to hire 2 sets of staff for every role.

I agree about an ibrox beamback
I absolutely disagree with an outdoor fanzone at Glasgow green

Recipe for disaster imo.

This board doesn't seem to have any connection with the fans at all. I'd say the demand to open ibrox is big enough.

Ibrox stadium should be opened, free for fans who want to watch the game.

Sweep, I agree however look at behaviour off fans last year, why should police allow us to riot again.

It’s absolutely ridiculous not to have Ibrox open for the game! Our staff are all going to the final? Another example of how our board cannot connect to our fans??.

Yet some fans defending them still. There's a core in our support that seems eager these days to just disagree with common sense and spout absolute rubbish.

John, I think Ibrox would be a better option than Glasgow Green. Just seems to me that the club hasn't bothered at all. Frankfurt have managed to organise something. Just seems poor. Just my thoughts.

I am devastated i cannot go to seville.
The choice Rangers seem to of made regards the faithful fans who cannot make it regardless of how much we spend a season whether it be season tickets, strips, European nights or a pair of socks from our store we all love Rangers and the opportunity to watch the final at our beloved Ibrox would be a tremendous occasion as well as a well deserved gesture to the fans who have been to hell and back over the last 10 years or so.
Instead the excuse given is simply shocking the board in my opinion have been excellent and deserve all applauds given however i feel on this occasion they have left the fans down.

John the reason the mass gathering happened last year was because they wouldn't open ibrox, if there isn't enough staff they should have sorted all this ages ago and plenty would volunteer, they say they don't have staff for food etc all they have to do is get stewards sorted which would be easily done, sort a screen, easily done and just open the turnstiles up or even get people to work the turnstiles and say 10 quid a ticket.

As has been said above. Negotiations could have been started with the relevant parties on the premise that we would make the final. Then everything could have been in place by now.

Does anyone really think that the club would turn down the idea of 50000 fans paying say £30 each for entry, food and drinks etc (£1.5m) if there was a viable solution to opening Ibrox?

Does anyone think that our board are competent and successful business men or do you just nobody's who don't care about the club or fans.

FFS, some folk expect the world to be perfect and just love a moan.

Just means pubs all over will be full i'd imagine. If at Ibrox then most fans in one place. Disappointed with board not doing something. Surely they know fans with families would struggle to go midweek with schools and work commitments.

Glasgow green was never happening folks.

Twisted I do agree. But problem is go online already saying after game March to George square.

I don’t know how anyone can back the board in this situation completely and utterly clueless and some making excuses for them is ridiculous other teams have done recently and Frankfurt and feynoord are doing in the next week week and a half.

There really is no excuse for it.

DK show come Frankfurt and feynoord are managing it.

DK. The fans have kept this going through thick and thin. Full houses every 2ndweek at Ibrox. I myself had the privilege to see Annan, Elgin and East Stirling at Ibrox. My way of thinking is that the club could have negotiated something with the relevant authorities on the premise that we might get there and pay the fans back. I think that would have been the decent thing to do.

DK19, five of the six clubs in the European finals will open their doors to their fans. Ibrox is the only one that will be closed. If our board, security and admin staff were too incompetent to get this right, maybe they could have taken advice from the other five, including our opponents.
