I didn’t want to pay him what he wanted I think you will find John not once have I said that. I ain’t blaming him for us getting beat but he made a schoolboy error and that’s a FACT.

As ball came across from his left as he was standing facing the goal he’s too busy looking at bassey instead of busting a gut to go to the ball it was unbelievable was very hard to watch
Said in other reply’s was very disappointed by kent contribution too
didn’t even want to be one of the first 5 to take a penalty
Ramsay stood up to take one but he just didn’t look confident and no heart was in it when he hit it
still can’t believe we didn’t win it
Really thought it was written on the wall for us.

FACT is that Goldson has been immense for us this season but is only human.

Even a Messi or Ronaldo has an error in them - if only Goldson had had his big error in a less important match.

Yes, Goldson made a mistake, but look at the games this season in Europe where he has been immense! Easy to blame him but we only scored one goal, one more would have won us the game and who knows what would have happened if Ramsay hadn't missed that penalty, (and it was one of the worst penalties I have seen) .
We move on, we need a rebuild, old heads need to go and they need to be replaced by better players. For me, we should build the team around Bassey, Lundstram, Aribo and Morelos, use the funds that we secure from the transfer of Kent, and others + what we made on Patterson to bring in the players that Gio wants and promote some of our quality young players.
