Huge rebuild needed if all "out of contract" group are allowed to leave.
And if we sell any of the "1 year left on deal" group.
Even in the "2 year left on deal" group, decisions will need to be made soon on offering extended deals.
It's the "3 years left on deal" group that gives me the fear! For a variety of reasons.
The only shining light is the crop of youngsters coming through.
We all have high hopes for Lowry, King and McCann. And any others that grab the opportunity to impress.

It's only goldson and mcgregor who are regulars from the out of contract rest are bit part players. We will need a handful of players but not a huge rebuild. Can't see us selling all 3 of Kent, morelos and aribo.

Let's get bassey tied down and build around him Tav Lundsrtum and Jack imo keeping Alfie and Aribo a must and reinvest cash from Kent and any1 we lose.

Would want to extend Morelos and Kent although not sure how likely. If big offers come in it would be hard to keep them. Heart says extend Jack but we may need to be hard and let him go with injuries. Keep Arfield under review and would want mcrorrie to extend. Sell Katic, helander and Aribo. Sell Kamara, itten, wright and Roofe for whatever we can get. Aribo and Kamara alone should give funds for decent rebuild. What about hastie and Middleton? They must be punted too. Souttar coming in and Lowry, king and McCann plus Devine in first team squad. Need to get rid of injury prone players. Diallo might be worth another loan, not sure sands is up to it. Billy Gilmore year on loan would be a good addition. Reckon we need 5 or 6 quality first team players to come in, on top of player sales euro money should help support the funds required. Think budget of £25-£30m needed overall.

One Walter issue Jack has played 3x 90 minutes not good enough and he is about to be involved with Scot for five games in June.
This is a real issue imo.

Mr PH, from our Out of Contract in Summer:-
Goldson, Davis, Balogun, McGregor and Firth, I would only offer a contract to McGregor and that is because I don't rate McLaughlin and don't see us securing a top quality replacement for McGregor. The others we have to replace with better younger players.
From those with only a year left, I am not sure about Katic, with Goldson going I do worry that we don't have a lot of great centre backs on our books!
Arfield and Jack, I would like to see both contracts extended.
Helander I would look to sell and maximise our fee. McCrorie is for me the best of the goalkeepers after McGregor but is he good enough to succeed him?
Kent I fear will go and we need to maximise the fee we receive.
Morelos and Aribo we must extend their contracts. We should be building a team around them and Lundsram / Bassey

I would look to sell Barisic, Itten, Kamara, Wright and Simpson to raise funds for a much needed rebuild.

Ramsey should never have been signed in the first place, a terrible signing that was not close to match fitness when he arrived and who cost us dearly last night.
Sands has a lot to prove if he is to be seen as a permanent signing.
Quite simply we need to bring in around 5 or 6 new players. All better than what we currently have and they need to be players that Gio wants not what Wilson finds as cheap options!

The big desire to keep the squad together last season leaves Gio a real mess for the summer. Will be huge decision to let some go for nothing again next year or cash in now. Could lose bulk of 1st team as well as need to get rid of squad players.

DK, I am not disputing that Mclaughlin is a decent keeper but he is not, in my opinion, in the same class as McGregor or in keepers that I would rank with similar respect to McGregor, namely Goram, Woods, Klos and even Charbonier.

A top quality side needs a strong spine. That for me means having the best goalkeeper, the best Centre backs and the best striker in the league. Morelos fits the bill for striker and must be given a new contract, we need to replace Goldson with a better centre back and I would like to see us sign the West Brom goalkeeper as an example of the quality needed.
