Anyone that watches the b team on a regular basis might be able to answer this. Are players being held back too long ie charlie McCann (20) lowry (18) king (18) used to be of you are good enough your old enough. Is it a phased introduction to protect them. Are they not good enough or should these players be playing more and not getting the chance. Just wondered what the thoughts were.

Me personaly Lowry would be in my team already looked better than Ramsey, he’s like a scottish iniesta he gets coached right we’ve won the lottery.

55 imo I saw first game in lowland league, walked away we were saying Christ lot off kids getting rattled about.
As the season went on u could see the change, the kids not getting bullied, diving into silly challenges they could not win playing the ball quicker. etc.
thereafter several off the team looked like they could step up if required, not like 10-20 games in a row, but as cover and get a taster.
I know it was a dead rubber against hearts but the lads dominated the ball against third best team on the day.

So to now answer question I do not believe players were held back, they simply were not ready.

RFC correct, always plays with head up, sign of a very good player.
Very hard to train a player to do that, it’s natural in the very best.

Going back but Barry Ferguson Ian durrant, Derek Johnstone were good enough to step up if you are good enough you are old enough simple as that looking forward to seeing these lads stepping up and playing more this season. The Dutch have a reputation for giving younger players a chance, let's hope so instead of developing other teams players.

Thanks folks just a wonder I ha. Be nice to see a mix of new signings and youth coming through might save us a quid or 2.
