Diallo tipped for a return to Rangers. What has he done to deserve that if its true? He certainly didn't impress me last season.

Maybe not amazing right away but I did expect a lot lot better from him. As I said I wasn't impressed. Opinions vary my friend. We need players to hit the ground running from the very first game. We don't need players who blow hot or cold nor do we need players who spend most of their time in the treatment room. We need to be a step infront of Celtic.

This kid is a good player and his club have big expectations for him. Yes he didn’t hit the ground running, he was like a rabbit in the headlights, however, many a player has been caught out by the way our game is in this country. He would be coming in with eyes open this time and I’d expect him to perform to a much higher standard. I’d be happy for him to return IF the cash is being spent on other areas of the team and isn’t being viewed as cheap option. This kids a player btw.

Spot on Scotty, there is a player in this young lad and if he can come back for another season prepared now he knows what is required i would be all for it if it suited us financially. let's not forget this is a 19 year old lad that is trying to justify a c. £25m move to a club with the stature of Man Utd. After starting on such a high on his debut reality hit in the next match when he realised what it meant to play for Rangers and he was dreadful in such an intense atmosphere but he showed again towards the end of the season he was capable. I learned and progressed a tonne at that age, hopefully he can too if he returns ??.

Would be happy to have Diallo back

If there’s a slight formation change where he can stay higher and wider up the park without having the responsibility of tracking back as much, I think he could have a great season and really stack up the numbers

Having him as part of the squad and day to day in training will also really raise the bar with players like Lowry and Hagi as he has exceptional skill.

The more the season went on you could see him growing into the shirt, buying into the club even, he’s got the potential to be devastating, hence the reason Man U bought him in first place, now that he knows what the club is all about, a second season would be ideal.

He's 19 - mixed performances, going missing in games. that's all part of the learning curve. He's a different player to Lowry, so I don't think he's going to pinch minutes from Lowry.

Everyone was very quick to write off Lundstram and look how that turned out (and he is a 28 year old with premiership experience) . Give the kid a chance. if GVB wants him then that's good enough for me.

Sure when we were all 19 yrs old and playing in a new team for the first time, we all hit the ground running as soon as we got there??

If he comes back, give him time and watch him fly, players always play better when they are familiar and confident within the environment they are playing in

If the coaching staff have seen enough enough get him back another season, then let’s support the young fella.

Had a tough start because he was thrown in too early but you could see his confidence coming at the end of the season.

No doubt he has the potential to be a big player but we won’t know if he can hack it in the SPL unless we bring him back.

Def worth a punt for me.

To be absolutely bluntly honest
I didn’t want to see him back we have loads of young guys in our academy not getting g a chance and who look good enough to step up
They should be given priority
tell you what I want to see lowry getting loads of game time this year and we should ask the question why he isn’t if he doesn’t get it.

if we’re looking for young guys on loan let’s look at our academy first and explain too the fans why the manger doesn’t think there good enough if we need to look at players such as Diallo? ?

I like Diallo, however Lovelace plays that position as well.
Although 16 many already suggest he will be involved
Next season.
He did play for Millwall at 15, Leicester and Brighton had 1 million bids rejected in January, preseason might give a better idea.

Lovelace will play a part sooner rather than later. He's gifted and can play in our league. As for Diallo. Took time to settle. was coming good and I'd take him back for another season. I think he was bonding with the club. He's a player.
