I understand a lot of nervousness over lack of activity but have to sort out what happening with Aribo and Co 1st. Could be difference of £30-40m in budget to work with depending on if they decide to stay or go. ( not that I can imagine spending all of that) . Add in question over champions league money I can see us waiting till late in the window. No panic as no one left yet so squad is strong and any that do go will give good money for replacing.

Hope this season doesn't mirror last season where we relied on qualifying for CL group stages before strengthening the team. that back fired against Malmo. my opinion.

The transfer window closes on the 1st September.
As it stands ( and if we don't lose anyone ) we should have more than enough to beat Midtjylland or Larneca, Strum Graz, Union Saint Galloise in the 3rd Qualifying round. Monaco might be a harder ask.
For the final qualifying round you can add Fenerbache, PSV or Dynamo Kiev depending on who wins their respective ties.
Ties are all in August.
3rd Round - 3rd and 9th August.
Final round - 17th and 24th August.

All we can ask without making threats, is the players going out of contract to be honest about there intentions, do they plan to sign new contract or see out current contract which is within there right, if this is the cases we should inform them that any offer recieved will be considered if it is suitable to both club and player, maybe that to much to ask.
