A quick hello guys.

Not on here much but have noticed the Stevie G. scenario keeps cropping up occasionally.

My take on it is, he felt he had done his job getting the 55.

The offer from Villa came just at the right time for him as the wheels were starting to come off at the start of his new season with us.

Heaven knows what would have been the result had he stayed with us.

I felt they were STARTING to fall off Stevie, and they did eventually, even though he was gone when they did. (in the league) .

but ultimately he left because he got a fantastic offer in the epl.

Would have dumped us for any decent EPL club.

I was personally expecting him to get the Newcastle job.
