Highly speculative, just noticed he's left Watford on a free, but would any of you take a punt on Joshua King? Plenty experience and a decent goal return for someone who predominantly plays out wide.

Offers a great Plan B if we can't sign Anderson from Livi :-)

U I thought he was outstanding at Bournemouth and would be a great player if we could get him. definitely the answer we need on the right side and gives pace directness goals

i think kings best form would have been good enough, but if he’s been released by watford then his best is probably behind him.

I've heard a lot worse suggestions on here, Trueblue. An experienced international with at least a semblance of a pedigree.

King was superb at AFC Bournemouth and I was very surprised they let him leave. Very fast and hard working, was played mainly as a support attacker so his stats may be deceiving.

{Ed001's Note - injuries and wage demands, added to him expecting to get a big move as he was being linked to the likes of Man Utd in the media. He was in for a shock when there was little interest and no one wanted to go near his asking salary.}

If he passes a rigorous medical is happily give him £30k week and a 2 year deal.
On his game he’s be best forward player in the country.

King and Wilson formed a prolific partnership at AFC Bournemouth.
King would do well in the SPL but his wages would be out with our wage structure.
Probably see him going to a team like Nottingham Forest.
