Firstly I think in the net week we will see some outgoings before anyone else is announced, if there is going to be more incoming that is.

Secondly, I think we need to give colak a chance. Seen a good few posts over the last couple of days saying, if morelos goes we need a starting striker. So basically assuming that the big man is going to always play 2nd fiddle. You would see a lot of opinions change if he scores 3 or 4 goals in first 5 games.

Agree orange. Colaks bearly in the door and being questioned, give the guy a chance. I seems to me that we don't give the management or the board half the credit they deserve.

Would disagree the point regarding Morelos leaving and then needing a starting striker

Irrelevant to Colak doing being given a chance, doing well from the get go

Players need competition to get the best out of them

Colak may be the answer if Buff goes, but stick a good, young hungry striker who is good enough to get in the first team on the bench and I am sure Colak will do even better as he would be fighting every week for his spot

Same with Barasic, he can’t afford the same dips in form as past seasons, the minute he does he has a young hungry international quality player breathing down his neck for a game

We now have quality competition for places all over the park

The Bassey money allowed us to go out and get players before players left

Those players now not good enough and surplus to requirements, can now see there is no path to getting a game any time soon

And hopefully see that and be more open to leaving.

Yeah signing another striker has nothing to do with Colak and I have to say, I’ve not read one negative post about the big man on here.

We need 4 quality strikers at the club if we’re to compete on all fronts, we can’t risk the need to player a centre mid upfront during critical games (although Aribo did do well) .

We only need another striker if someone else is sold we have Alfredo colak sakala roofe and Tillman that can all play there for one position at the moment.

Aribo was played at Striker over Sakala last season

Roofe is currently and constantly injured and may be offski

Tillman is an AM/ 10

We definitely need another striker, in my opinion even if Morelos stays.

Sydney you kind of agree actually as you are saying bring a young hungry striker in (if alf goes) and that will push colak to perform to keep his starting berth. I agree that should a striker leave, we would bring one in, but that wasn't my actual point. Dado, I never said anyone had said anything negative either towards the big man mate. I said I had seen a few posts saying that if buff goes we need a starting striker. That's assuming then that colak wouldn't be. Correct? Or am I reading that wrong.

On tillman, I personally see him being used like aribo, in the sense that if we need a striker, he will be deployed there, but his main position is AM/ 10.

Sydney I never said Tillman wasn’t a am/ 10 all
I said is he can’t play as striker which he can as he has played a good few games as striker if you do some research.


We don’t need another striker unless someone leaves.

We need another backup striker imo, Abline or Cowell for me, think Cutrone would add something different also so 2 out of they three, happy days?.
