Sir Walter what's your opinion on Borna Barasic? After crowing about him before the season starts he's been the worst player on the park twice now. Is he still number 1 LB in your opinion?

Give it a rest Sweep, so quick to point the finger at others. Well said TrueBlue. If people worked with the same scrutiny as professional players, it would be hard going. No one goes onto the pitch to play poorly, just happens sometimes. Start supporting instead of all the sniping.

Borna a shadow of the player for months. Seems to have a wobble most games now imo. don't know what's happened to him. 55 season he was almost unplayable at times.

No way was Barisic our worst player v Livingston not the way Souttar played and Sands, Matondo and Jack were by far the worst of a bad bunch against Union. Barisic is this seasons scapegoat but the large gap down the left side is being caused by playing right footed centre backs who are not covering when he goes on the overlap.

Barasic has had one great season and the rest hasn’t been good enough it’s just not these two games he is weak as a player.

Borna is a player who struggles with confidence, we have a section of support that are not exactly shy in giving players dogs abuse for poor form (you only need to read comments on here and social media or attend games to see it) . Becomes a bit of a vicious circle IMO, Borna struggles, he gets dogs abuse, it gets worse.

The guys constantly taking tue safe option passing backwards, looks petrified to take a man on incase he gives it away. That’s the pressure from the fans.

Said it a million times, you don’t just need to be a good player to make it at Rangers, you need thick skin. Glen Kamara for me falls into the same category at times.

It’s no surprise to me that these 2 had their best seasons when no fans were aloud to attend games.

Giving great support is fine when things are going well, but if you can give them great support when things are going bad, players would be far better for it.

Totally agree Storm. 55 season BB was class apart from that only played cause Bassey was playing CB imo. If rumours are right i'd gladly sell.

Storm I think he is mentally weak. He crumbles under pressure. Some players thrive of it, some don’t let it effect them. As soon as there’s any negativity or moans and groans he goes into his shell.

Also don’t think Sir Walter was far wrong when he said he had started pre season well, but then we go and sign a left back for €6m. Won’t have helped a guy who’s already got ropey confidence.

For the reasons I’ve mentioned on Borna I do agree we needed to get someone else in, hopefully Yilmaz will be the real deal and yes Barisic might be better moving on. But while he’s our player and turns out for us I would encourage getting behind him rather than slaughtering him every time he has a poor game.
