I replied to a poster further down but prob won't see it now so I will start a new one. Someone stated that psv spent 150million to assemble a squad and then said we spent 15 million this window. You can't compare it like that it's a false narrative, put up to make yourself feel better. We spent €16.2m and they spent €36.5m this transfer window. So they spent double, not 10 times that is being portrayed. If you are going to spout facts make sure they are correct and on an even keel. Can stand this bs that people constantly make up on here. We were beaten easily on the night, humiliated you might even say. No excuses, pick yourselves up quickly for Sunday and make it up to the fans with 3 points. If not then maybe some players are at the wrong club.

You can't have a go at others opinions and then ignore the fact that they were the stronger team before they spent the 36m.

Our squad has been rebuilt this season from what everyone agreed was a poor squad last season. We have brought in freebies in the main.

We play in a bully boy league that is not far above the Irish and Welsh leagues and has bargain basement finances.

Having sacked 3/ 4 managers in recent years for underperforming to the fans expectations which proven manager is going to jump at the chance of replacing Beale with no money to spend in a league with such poor standards? How will that manager be judged after 15 games? Will he too be sacked?

Reality hurts - we are in transition from a low point. We play in the SPL and we have no money to complete with any of the top 6 european leagues. Harsh but true, the only way we can succeed is if we have patience, look at the bigger/ longer picture and have stability at the club (West Ham/ Moyes v Chelsea/ Abramovic model)

I expect us to win on Sunday but would not be devastated if we draw - we have a long season ahead and the team will get better and I will be supporting every player and the manager no matter the result until they are no longer at the club.

your facts and numbers I don't doubt but that's one transfer window, but double our budget is a lot for one window.
You also have slightly twisted the info to suit.
You forget to point out that they can afford to pay loan wages and fees for players from the likes of Barcelona.
They also paid more wages and sign on fees than rangers can afford which is why certain players chose them over rangers in years gone by.
