Regarding Morelos, story I've heard is he's very happy at Rangers and will sign a new contract. I hope this is correct.

Baxterboy

1.) 24 Jun 2022 22:54:52
Hope so mate.

2.) 25 Jun 2022 06:55:07
Baxter boy ?.

3.) 25 Jun 2022 08:14:19
If we could get Alfie and Kent signed up I think most fans would be happy as it looks like more clubs are int in signing Aribo and we can't. lose all 3.

4.) 25 Jun 2022 09:28:08
Morelos will leave if he gets opportunity.

5.) 25 Jun 2022 10:58:35
Why do you think that Bankie?

6.) 25 Jun 2022 11:37:38
Gdog10, been at Ibrox 5 seasons and wants to play in a different league.

7.) 25 Jun 2022 16:33:13
How do you know that, Bankie, seeing as you have written it as a statement of fact?

19 Jun 2022 09:17:34
A report in today's Sun - Man UTD interested in Mcrorie. Are we keen to get rid of him or is he wanting a move away. If it's 1st team football he's after then he's not going to get that at UTD.

Baxterboy

1.) 19 Jun 2022 10:25:45
Sit on the bench at Rangers and play the Cup games.
Or
Sit on the bench at Man Utd, increase in wages and the odd game here and there.

2.) 19 Jun 2022 10:38:14
MPH. he might not get cup games at us if mcgregor leaves and we sign a new number 1. Reality is he’ll get more money down there.

3.) 19 Jun 2022 11:18:00
If the boy isn't given a chance by us then good luck. imo he's been treated shoddily.

4.) 19 Jun 2022 11:30:00
Wouldn't believe anything in the Sun.

5.) 19 Jun 2022 11:49:55
At 24, a 4 year deal, in England, probs double his wages. Set for life.
Couldn't blame the lad if it happens.

6.) 19 Jun 2022 11:51:26
I am with you one Walter.

7.) 19 Jun 2022 11:59:07
Treated shoddily based on what?

If our coaching staff rated him as highly as the experts on here then he would be our number 1 without challenge but for some odd reason so far the professionals who are paid to make these decisions don’t seem to care what you think.

Odd indeed.

8.) 19 Jun 2022 12:20:28
Very odd DK …. Just another stick to beat us with by some .

9.) 19 Jun 2022 12:52:50
The reality imo if we move on Mccrorie I see McGregor getting another deal, becomes a free hit in CL.

10.) 19 Jun 2022 13:26:46
The lad Mccrorie loves rangers, and is mentored by McGregor on a daily basis for last few years.
I was talking to couple of United fans, their point is they won’t be replacing a 20 million pound goalkeeper Henderson with Robby.
There understanding is Bachman who Rangick recommend could be a number 3 with a two coming in.
They are not investing tens of millions in team, to risk gea getting injured and being replaced by a 300k goalkeeper.
Allegedly Aberdeen is a realistic option, we know they could afford the 300 k value.
Robby appears to be at least third choice if he goes to EPL.

11.) 19 Jun 2022 13:59:00
I wouldn't like to sell mccrorie, loan deal imo would suit better for a season, somewhere he'll get regular games, then make a decision on his future.

12.) 19 Jun 2022 14:10:42
Will go to Man Utd as their number 2 Henderson is likely to be off as is their 3rd choice keeper off to middlesbrough apparently, McCrorie in as number 2 - the new manager Ten Hag rates him highly, good luck to him if it comes off as I always liked him and of course his wages will quadruple at least ????
Time we announced a signing or two though we are getting closer to starting up again - little bit worrying the lack of movement with transfers ????.

13.) 19 Jun 2022 14:50:13
Another non story which has already been debunked. Window has been open for about a week and a half. Calm down fgs.

14.) 19 Jun 2022 14:53:40
Shouldn’t be worried at all. The whole of the UK so far there’s only been 30 confirmed transfers.

15.) 19 Jun 2022 15:39:41
Gregory, have to agree mate, a week? Gone, and only a month or so till we play for real, and some on here thought GVB had a list all ready to go.
Still think we are waiting to see who goes and for how much, which will put things close to the wire.

16.) 19 Jun 2022 17:05:30
One off my grandsons tell me we have now been linked with 100 players since beginning off May.

17.) 19 jun 2022 17:36:02
and we will be linked with another hundred shortly john

i’d love to know how robbie been treated “shoddily”

he’s no, 3 gk, how should he be treated exactly?

trjfc, nobody needs your advice on calming down son,

18.) 19 Jun 2022 17:40:04
Treated shoddily in lack of opportunities the boy has had especially after he stepped up in Europe and against celtic without conceding imo he showed enough to warrant a chance.

19.) 19 jun 2022 17:55:15
bar, that will be just like almost every club in europe except the few who had to buy big and can afford it, rangers will be absolutely fine in the next few weeks,

20.) 19 Jun 2022 18:22:37
The fact that the story is in the Sun says enough for me. Personally I would be sorry to se McCrorie move to another Scottish Team. He appears to be a decent young keeper that is rated by McGregor. McLaughlin is 34, not exactly a youngster, he has no real track record other than the odd game here and there and playing in the Scottish Cup. While my preference should McGregor leave would be to sign another quality keeper I would prefer To keep McCrorie as back up. As I have said before, I am not a fan of McLaughlin, just my opinion.

21.) 19 Jun 2022 18:44:07
john tell him not to read the rags or he will end up demented mate.

22.) 19 Jun 2022 19:04:57
Correct onewalter.

23.) 19 Jun 2022 19:10:02
True blue young kids don’t read papers, everything done on phone.

24.) 19 jun 2022 20:49:54
walter, he is number 3, we were playing for a league title, a scottish cup, and a european trophy

are you actually saying we should have played the 3rd choice keeper, because i’m not getting that at all

ross was anything but outstanding at livi imo, and you want him in front of greegs and mclaughlin m maybe close season, not fighting for titles and cups at the cost of your 2 first team keepers,

25.) 19 Jun 2022 22:16:23
Exactly Tom, had 2 clean sheets in 15 at Livi conceding 26 goals. Eventually dropped for Max Stryjek who conceded 15 in 18 games while having 8 clean sheets.

Was a really poor loan and needs a successful one before even having a chance at us despite his game v Celtic.

26.) 20 Jun 2022 10:32:55
I'm not getting how he was "treated shoddily" at all, the two keepers we have played are far better than he is. Is anyone suggesting that we should weaken the team just to allow Robbie some game time?

18 Jun 2022 08:57:11
I've read this morning that Botheim is Gios top target and the board has been told to get this deal done. Sounds promising.

Baxterboy

1.) 18 Jun 2022 09:32:29
I seen Botheim posted on Instagram and Big Haaland replied ‘I’m Feeling It’

Epic leg pulling or a subtle hint from Haaland.

2.) 18 Jun 2022 09:35:50
If we can get this one over the line then it looks to be a very clever piece of business. At 22 he’ll just go from strength to strength.

3.) 18 Jun 2022 09:45:18
Baxter great analysis of the player available on Rangers Review, you tube.

Also Craig Mullholland talking up b team and several players.

4.) 18 Jun 2022 10:37:25
Cheers John, I'll have a look mate.

5.) 18 Jun 2022 11:20:49
Also Baxter off interest re b team, imo opinion we r producing players through academy who generate lots of interest
He states Gilmour has made us 1:5 million so far.
Mebude in previous interview will make us more potentially
Nathan Coombes has made us 500k so far
Wilson get us a million

Money made includes finlayson mclelland mebube Maxwell Wright, couple kids back to NI . we seem to be getting smarter in not taking development fee for a player but getting add on, but more importantly a sell on.

So whilst not everyone will make first team or want to stay we r now generating significant sums off money.

6.) 18 Jun 2022 14:49:23
I agree John25 but really think boys like Lowry are being sent wron. Message having never put a foot wrong even more so prob being the most consistent player when he's actually played. What do rangers do resign Davis and arfield and I get arfield more than deserved his deal and Davis deal is ok if we are pushing him to the coaching and mentoring side, but boys like Lowry need more game time and can't see it ending well with Davis and arfield still there unless gio is really brave next season ?.

20 May 2022 20:10:32
Whats your thoughts on Souter coming to us next season? Personally I'm not really impressed. Another player for the treatment room?

Baxterboy

1.) 20 May 2022 21:46:52
I’m delighted, knows the game, let’s give him a chance fgs.

2.) 20 May 2022 21:48:23
I don't think he's an upgrade on what we have tbh the players linked to us are underwhelming I hope RW doesn't think he can rebuild our squad with frees or cheaper buys.

3.) 20 May 2022 21:58:30
Not overly excited but will give him a chance to prove he is good enough.

4.) 20 May 2022 22:27:51
I really like Souter but going to need a couple of centre backs I reckon. Hate to say it but would take anything we can get for helander. Cracking player when he’s fit but he never is. Not overly disappointed Goldson is going too. Always thought he was a bit suspect although granted last season he was brilliant.

5.) 20 May 2022 22:42:40
Great signing, best CB in league this season until he got injured again. That is the only question mark over him. Hopefully some of the work he had done over recent months means he comes to us fighting fit and stays like that for the season to come. Souttar/ Bassey central defence could be immense.

6.) 20 May 2022 23:05:26
Reckon we'll have a top CB lined up. Souttar seems to me like ideal replacement for Balogun. Good reliable backup. Hope he can get over injury problems or he just adds to the list.

7.) 20 May 2022 23:22:15
John Soutter who was widely regarded as the best performing centre half in the league prior to his early operation? And you aren't happy? No pleasing some people.

8.) 20 May 2022 23:31:30
Helander- never fit
Balogun- hardly ever fit
Souter- couldn't spell fit.

Our defence is looking good eh.

At this rate it will be Bassey and Lundstram at CB.

9.) 20 May 2022 23:47:11
he definitely should have been brought in before the game at parkhead that probably ended our league hopes, soutter would have made a massive difference in that game imo

i said at the time it was a big mistake not getting him in, it left rangers short of a ch and hearts with a very unhappy player, it was nonsense and it might just have cost us the league.

10.) 21 May 2022 00:35:12
Craig, helander won't be hear next season, neither will balagow (thoi'dgive him a year exten) souer, we will just have to wait n see eh.

11.) 21 May 2022 09:29:17
If he stays fit I think he will be fine.

12.) 21 May 2022 10:26:20
Souter when fit is an excellent centre back however we will need to sign at least two more and that assumes that young King is elevated to the match day squad. We need to get rid of Simpson and Helander who is never fit and I really don't see Balogun being given a new contract.
I would expect Bassey to be our first choice left back, hence why I say we need two new quality centre backs signed in the summer.

13.) 21 May 2022 10:48:00
John25, it's very difficult to give him a chance when he's mostly in the treatment room.

14.) 21 May 2022 11:09:25
John soutter is a great player but always injured another Ryan jack/ kemar roofe a worry.

15.) 21 May 2022 11:10:20
Not even in the door and negativity starting already. Came back from serious injury to be a Scotland International. 100%er and can strike a ball. At the minute Goldson wants to leave. Souttar wants to come. Know who i'm backing.

16.) 21 May 2022 11:52:21
What’s Goldson got to do with soutter coming it’s no about him .

17.) 21 May 2022 13:33:11
He is a no nonsense defender that does the basics well. He has been unlucky with injury but when fit he won't look out of place plus that's a homegrown player as well. He should be 1st choice for national side when fit.

18.) 21 May 2022 13:40:26
He's not even played a game but let's write him off. Sack Wilson. Sack the board.

19.) 21 May 2022 13:42:27
Additionally, I really hope we keep Bassey at LCB. I think it will be far easier to get in a new left back than find a new left sided CB who has the qualities of Bassey.

20.) 21 May 2022 18:22:18
Must say was very impressed with souttar today.

21.) 21 May 2022 20:46:00
Paul Souttar was excellent today.

22.) 21 May 2022 22:19:41
Aw some on here are unbelievable man, I’m sorry but reading half the rubbish on here gives me brain damage! He was solid today! We’ve won the cup and some peoples instant thoughts are to write him off before he’s kicked a ball! Unreal! Mon the Rangers!

23.) 21 May 2022 22:23:20
And baring in mind barely kicked a ball for months! He was excellent! No wonder some players struggle at us with such fickle “fans”.

24.) 21 May 2022 22:40:04
Tango, apart from his recently repaired calf injury what other injuries has soter had mate?

25.) 22 May 2022 01:08:41
As mentioned previously in this thread Souttar is a very good addition providing he stays fit. I wouldn’t have Bassey at CB along side him as I think he’s a lot more affective at LB. Great engine and his delivery seems to be just getting better and better. He’s been an absolute steal!

26.) 22 May 2022 08:07:15
TrueBlue85,i still think at this moment in time in bassey's career, his best position is left back mate .

27.) 22 May 2022 08:23:53
Sir Walter - all about opinions. As long as he's signed to a new deal I really don't mind where he plays :-)

02 Apr 2022 17:31:58
Is there any truth Rangers may receive a substantial fine for pulling out the Oz tournament ?

Baxterboy

1.) 02 Apr 2022 18:22:16
Baxter exactly that a rumour, papers need to make up story to sell copies.

2.) 02 Apr 2022 18:51:10
If you believe the Record they are being sued for Breach of Contract. If we end up having to pay out on this then Parks should be sacked as should the CEO. The buck stops with them!

3.) 02 Apr 2022 19:48:28
If true BerkshireBlue I'm afraid it's the narrow minded protesting fans that should shoulder the blame. 4m in the pocket to potential owing money. Unreal.

4.) 02 Apr 2022 20:14:37
A fine from who?

5.) 02 Apr 2022 21:48:44
@john sadly not, a contract was signed and Rangers believe they've found a loophole to exit from. But if it was a signed deal, what possibly loophole to exit from have they used that won't uncur a penalty. You can't just walk away from a contract without cost.

6.) 02 Apr 2022 23:01:35
Have we got any feet left to shoot?

7.) 03 Apr 2022 00:41:44
Rfcrb, trying thinkin back ten year mate, our teams walked away from contracts, watch what you wish for, mate.

8.) 03 Apr 2022 06:48:05
Rfc rb. U absolutely can walk away 40 years in finance I done. It. Represented comps who done it mate.

9.) 03 Apr 2022 06:51:37
If that's the case we don't pull out then.

10.) 03 Apr 2022 06:58:56
Not seen anything on rumour but this was bound to happen. Certainly looks like we could be done for breach of contract and thought statement for pulling out seemed really flimsy.

11.) 03 Apr 2022 07:41:23
Correct MOC bear.

12.) 03 Apr 2022 08:42:40
We will not face any court action or have to pay any compensation for withdrawing from that non-event as the company who organised it did not pay Rangers the initial £250,000 due on 17/ 03/ 2022 due to a financial backer for the tournament pulling out and the funds not being available so it would be them that are in breach of contract hence there is nothing coming out from them on the subject, only the gutter press with their rumours . A timely withdrawal from Rangers was mutually beneficial to both sides.

13.) 03 Apr 2022 10:50:24
When the truth comes out and if it could be possible we could face a fine, you will soon see the manks sue us for loss of earnings just to put the boot into us and cause us more financial hardship.

It is no secret they (and some others) want Rangers out of Scottish football in order they can walk the domestic leagues unchallenged.

Just a thought to "bear" in mind. (pun) .

👿 👿 👿.

14.) 03 Apr 2022 14:43:20
Greg great post but some people don’t even want to consider it and would rather best the club with a stick . Ah well I suppose it takes all sorts .
Great post though and factual I believe.

15.) 03 Apr 2022 16:49:14
100% factual Molsgoals, the same as when i posted on 9th November that Steven Gerrard was having a 17.30 meeting in a London Hotel to discuss the terms for the Aston Villa job, i got slated for that information but that was also factual as everyone became aware of 24 hours later, we will hear no more about the Australian business unless it is from the Gutter Press .

16.) 03 Apr 2022 17:10:27
sadly because of these so called fans, and clubs' capitulation, i'm giving up the game and club.
sorry folks but needs must.

17.) 03 Apr 2022 21:56:53
CHARLIE I FOR ONE THANK YOU FOR YOUR INFO.

18.) 03 Apr 2022 21:57:33
Berkshire u can’t sack the shareholders.

19.) 03 Apr 2022 22:30:55
Good info Gregory202 sometimes we don't hear the facts. Personally I would have been for Rangers to play them in Oz for a decent payday. My opinion only as money dictates our game now, on the other hand I do appreciate fans who get annoyed with the board for accepting the invite. We will never be acceptable to the green side as it is always a religious/ political fight with them.
The big issue is how we unite our own fans and board, you will never please all the people all the time. Different backgrounds, different age groups, differing outlooks. Our hardcore fans don't always get the business decisions the board make. Also the board don't always get the fans passion. Just hope each side don't get too stubborn that we all lose like the past. Stay safe Bears.

20.) 04 Apr 2022 08:43:33
Thank you Tom Thumb myself and my brother post on here i am gregory202 he is charlie202 as we use the same log in for here it our posts come up under each others names for some reason - just to clear it up if there was some misunderstanding - very bad day yesterday - a clear out and rebuild essential now 🇬🇧🇬🇧.

21.) 05 Apr 2022 05:46:59
If the board thought there would be no backlash and didn't put in an escape clause to Oz friendly it just shows how inept they are. Should not be in charge of the club in my opinion the minute they start making rangers enemies because of league sponsor the season was always going smelltics way. Spl done all they can to help them and hinder us along with the media with the penalty stuff.

22.) 05 Apr 2022 15:39:07
Rangers will face no action re the Australian withdrawal, the two bob organisers are relieved that they are not facing court action from Rangers as i am led to believe they did not have sufficient funds in place before announcing it and were basically doing a “craig whyte” sadly enough and the investment group who were going to underwrite the whole shebang pulled the plug upon finding out that the two principals were next to potless, similar to the Whyte situation except we didn't find out quick enough to stop that shyster -! it will be interesting to see if any type of tournament at all takes place in Australia - 🇬🇧🇬🇧.

23.) 06 Apr 2022 22:02:02
John, reference Shareholders that are also on the Board and are Employyees of the Club surely it depends on the Terms of the Agreements that are in place. In Business it is normal process for the Shareholder Agreement and the Employment Contract as aBoard Member to be separate so that if they are not doing their job as they should then they can be removed.
I appreciate that it won't be easy with some of the Shareholders because of their holding but if they are not doing their job properly then it is incumbent on the CEO to take action. Of course that supposes that the CEO is strong enough to do so.
Of course as far as the PR Director and DoF are concerned, since they are not shareholders it would be much easier to remove them.
It is going to be an interesting 2022 / 2023.

24.) 07 Apr 2022 13:23:19
Dof is definitely a shareholder
All board members own multiple shares worth millions.
What shareholderson the board do u refer to do u refer to Berkshire that r employees
Do you mean park, park, wolthardt halstead Gibson king leatham etc.

25.) 07 Apr 2022 23:05:04
John, principally Park Jnr., but he might not be a shareholder. I didn't think that Wilson was a shareholder unless, like with other Corporations it forms part of his annual compensation, but that would be the two that I would want to see go and I have concerns regarding our Chairman's commitment to the Club given his other Business Interests, (ie his Motor Dealership Business etc) .
I would love to see Gibson, Wolhaardt, and I do wonder whether Gibson would have an interest in further investment in the Club.

Diallo tipped for a return to Rangers. What has he done to deserve that if its true? He certainly didn't impress me last season.

Baxterboy

1.) 24 Jun 2022 23:10:06
Didn’t get enough game time to impress you expect a kid to come to Scotland and be amazing right away.

2.) 24 Jun 2022 23:33:32
Done nothing a kid from the B team could have done
NO just NO.

3.) 24 Jun 2022 23:36:12
Maybe not amazing right away but I did expect a lot lot better from him. As I said I wasn't impressed. Opinions vary my friend. We need players to hit the ground running from the very first game. We don't need players who blow hot or cold nor do we need players who spend most of their time in the treatment room. We need to be a step infront of Celtic.

4.) 24 Jun 2022 23:48:01
We’ll still have a real problem on the right if he signs. That would probably be the straw that broke the camel’s back with the board and Wilson.

5.) 25 Jun 2022 00:03:47
This kid is a good player and his club have big expectations for him. Yes he didn’t hit the ground running, he was like a rabbit in the headlights, however, many a player has been caught out by the way our game is in this country. He would be coming in with eyes open this time and I’d expect him to perform to a much higher standard. I’d be happy for him to return IF the cash is being spent on other areas of the team and isn’t being viewed as cheap option. This kids a player btw.

6.) 25 Jun 2022 00:38:39
Spot on Scotty, there is a player in this young lad and if he can come back for another season prepared now he knows what is required i would be all for it if it suited us financially. let's not forget this is a 19 year old lad that is trying to justify a c. £25m move to a club with the stature of Man Utd. After starting on such a high on his debut reality hit in the next match when he realised what it meant to play for Rangers and he was dreadful in such an intense atmosphere but he showed again towards the end of the season he was capable. I learned and progressed a tonne at that age, hopefully he can too if he returns ??.

7.) 25 Jun 2022 00:43:07
Why are we progressing Man Utd players when we have better in our own youth? Play Lowry.

8.) 25 Jun 2022 02:13:34
Would be happy to have Diallo back

If there’s a slight formation change where he can stay higher and wider up the park without having the responsibility of tracking back as much, I think he could have a great season and really stack up the numbers

Having him as part of the squad and day to day in training will also really raise the bar with players like Lowry and Hagi as he has exceptional skill.

9.) 25 Jun 2022 02:28:37
The more the season went on you could see him growing into the shirt, buying into the club even, he’s got the potential to be devastating, hence the reason Man U bought him in first place, now that he knows what the club is all about, a second season would be ideal.

10.) 25 Jun 2022 06:42:40
A no brainer yes from me guys ?.

11.) 25 Jun 2022 07:05:56
He’s in a different level to anything we have that’s why bring him back! Love to see him back next year with a real run of games you’ll see the best of him!

12.) 25 Jun 2022 07:40:46
Its amazing this boy did nothing yet everyone wants him back. Will he help us qualify for champions league? No, he would not even be selected for the eleven so really he is not the right winger we need, stop being influenced by the name Man U and the £37m price tag.

13.) 25 Jun 2022 07:55:31
He only started to play well when the pressure was off in the last few games.

14.) 25 Jun 2022 08:14:14
He's 19 - mixed performances, going missing in games. that's all part of the learning curve. He's a different player to Lowry, so I don't think he's going to pinch minutes from Lowry.

Everyone was very quick to write off Lundstram and look how that turned out (and he is a 28 year old with premiership experience) . Give the kid a chance. if GVB wants him then that's good enough for me.

15.) 25 Jun 2022 08:31:25
I actually quite liked him.
Only scored 1 goal less than Kent.
And Lowry is never a RW.

16.) 25 Jun 2022 09:08:22
Sure when we were all 19 yrs old and playing in a new team for the first time, we all hit the ground running as soon as we got there??

If he comes back, give him time and watch him fly, players always play better when they are familiar and confident within the environment they are playing in

If the coaching staff have seen enough enough get him back another season, then let’s support the young fella.

17.) 25 Jun 2022 09:14:34
Takes some players longer to settle to a new environment look at Lundstrum 75% of folk on here wanted him released ? boys 19 years old with clear ability give him a chance.

18.) 25 Jun 2022 09:25:54
Had a tough start because he was thrown in too early but you could see his confidence coming at the end of the season.

No doubt he has the potential to be a big player but we won’t know if he can hack it in the SPL unless we bring him back.

Def worth a punt for me.

19.) 25 Jun 2022 09:30:04
Lowry isn’t a winger lol plus lundstram didn’t hit the ground running ether.

20.) 25 Jun 2022 09:34:29
No pressure in a cup final sweep lol.

21.) 25 Jun 2022 09:35:35
To be absolutely bluntly honest
I didn’t want to see him back we have loads of young guys in our academy not getting g a chance and who look good enough to step up
They should be given priority
tell you what I want to see lowry getting loads of game time this year and we should ask the question why he isn’t if he doesn’t get it.

if we’re looking for young guys on loan let’s look at our academy first and explain too the fans why the manger doesn’t think there good enough if we need to look at players such as Diallo? ?

22.) 25 Jun 2022 09:36:58
Not just lundstram, remember Fernando getting ripped a new one in an old firm and hauled off early.

He turned out not to bad for us, god rest his soul.

23.) 25 Jun 2022 09:46:27
Lowry isn’t a winger so wouldn’t be taking his place. As folk have stated not everyone hits the ground running, I think this season would be different for him.

24.) 25 Jun 2022 09:54:33
Tango he lost the plot in the cup final and nearly got sent off.

25.) 25 Jun 2022 10:33:52
For every Lundstram there's a Simpson or Barker. Fans are right to give some players a chance but sometimes loyalty doesn't work out.

26.) 25 Jun 2022 12:06:32
I like Diallo, however Lovelace plays that position as well.
Although 16 many already suggest he will be involved
Next season.
He did play for Millwall at 15, Leicester and Brighton had 1 million bids rejected in January, preseason might give a better idea.

27.) 25 Jun 2022 12:34:15
We have no one in our B team or academy who is anywhere near ready to fill our problem RW position so it’s holding no one back.

28.) 25 Jun 2022 14:12:14
Lovelace will play a part sooner rather than later. He's gifted and can play in our league. As for Diallo. Took time to settle. was coming good and I'd take him back for another season. I think he was bonding with the club. He's a player.

29.) 25 Jun 2022 18:03:59
Agree Scotty and the colonel.

24 Jun 2022 20:14:08
Many people may think we're a bit slow in the transfer market. Gerrard liked to get his business done early. I'm sure the board have plans A and B and have many players in their thoughts. Yes it would be ideal to get all players signed for the start of training so we're up and running for the champions league qualifiers. Will there be a big name signing? If so - hopefully not another flop like Ramsey- maybe a Bale. Anyway, it may be a bit frustrating for some but all good things come to those who wait.

Baxterboy

1.) 24 Jun 2022 23:27:42
Bale ain’t coming to rangers.

2.) 25 Jun 2022 00:42:27
Stormtrooper, did you actually think I was serious - oaft.

29 May 2022 18:27:01
We simply can't show the old pals act and should be a bit ruthless. That means bye to McGregor, Davis, Jack, Roof and any other ageing, fringe or injury prone players. We need to win the league again with fresh and fully fit players with fight and desire.

Baxterboy

1.) 29 May 2022 18:41:19
Baxter very difficult to get rid off players with a contract.

2.) 29 May 2022 18:46:08
I agree great servants time to move on.

3.) 29 May 2022 19:00:08
Their heart of team but a still a year or two in them ye we’ve got to replace them yes.

4.) 29 May 2022 19:06:51
Agreed Baxterboy, we need 4/ 5 first team signings this summer, youth players are going to be added to the squad as well, we need to make room in the squad, giving players like davis new contracts makes no sense imo.

5.) 29 May 2022 19:09:53
I don’t mind keeping guys like McGregor and Davis to help guide and coach the younger ones in the team, that can be invaluable. My worry is the boxer scenario where they keep fighting and end up getting hammered from guys that would never have beaten them in their hay day. It’s all about timing and knowing when to quit.

6.) 29 May 2022 19:10:58
If you think the likes a Charlie McCann etc are going to win us the league just because they played good in a dead rubber against hearts your mistaken lol notice we have played a lot better towards the end a the season when Davis was involved.

7.) 29 May 2022 19:13:02
Defo agree about jack tho far to injury prone a would take Ferguson as a replacement tho.

8.) 29 May 2022 19:58:38
Harsh on Jack who's battling back from injury sustained playing for us and has a lot still to offer.

9.) 29 May 2022 20:10:05
I wonder if Mcgregor’s decision will be based on our ability to adequately replace him. I think he may stay on as a no2. For me I’d let davo move on and finish his career playing football. Roofe deserves to be given another season and jacko when for is probably the best mf in Scotland on his day. I’d say him and mcgregor. Footballs a squad game now and as much as him amd roofe are injured a lot they contribute enough over a season to be given new deals back more so than roofe I feel.

10.) 29 May 2022 20:31:12
A kinda agree baxterboy.

11.) 29 May 2022 22:03:51
Let's wait and see what ryan jack is like with a good pre season behind himWay too premature to even be thinking about writing jacko off!

12.) 29 May 2022 22:15:29
What Ferguson would that be Tango, Derek, Barry, Ian, Alex or Eric? Not Lewis, surely?

13.) 30 May 2022 03:18:28
John, i think most missed your point, about players under contract.

14.) 30 May 2022 06:38:40
Aye Lewis he’s a far better player than the likes of arfield people just don’t want to admit it because he’s from Aberdeen typical old firm snobbery about other Scottish players lol sorry jack is done other than his cup final goal done nothing all season.

15.) 30 May 2022 06:44:35
Scores more goals than most of our midfielders gets more assists than majority a them. Good defensively great going forward. Gets stuck in not afraid of a tackle. Knows the league and sure his family have told him the standard of the club. Ticks all the boxes we’ve signed lesser players from the sheep. Been the sheeps player a the year young player of the year etc most seasons gets into spfl team a the year ever year course Lewis.

16.) 30 May 2022 06:47:18
Thank God we didn't dump Jack before the Cup Final.

17.) 30 May 2022 06:57:03
Get rid of jack hahaha you cannot be serious!

18.) 30 May 2022 09:08:31
Walter what’s your view, out of two games but remain in squad for three nations cup ties, then return to rangers.
Simply not good enough, the boy needs to get fit

Tango nothing to do with Aberdeen, simply not worth 4-5 million.

19.) 30 May 2022 13:07:27
Monty and why not. Four starts in last year.

22 May 2022 19:47:53
So it seems Ramsey has played his last game for Rangers after him more or less saying his goodbyes and thanking the Rangers fans. Thank goodness as he's done absolutely nothing for the team. I know some will disagree but I trust my source that Douglas Park paid him 40 grand a week - a total waste. We should of signed a striker instead. It's not hindsight, it was my opinion when we signed him.

Baxterboy

1.) 22 May 2022 21:08:14
I was one that didn’t want him to be signed a lot of fans went way over the top with him calling him world class etc… maybe 6/ 7 years ago for a season or two but has been poor and injury for a good while unless he is in a wales top.

2.) 22 May 2022 21:18:17
Baxter I see where you’re coming from but I just find it a bit disrespectful to the guy with some folk on here, not you, saying he’s useless and a waste of space etc. he’s a top class footballer who came to Rangers to play football, certainly not for a pay day, and it just didn’t work out. Had he stayed injury free and played most games and scored the winning penalty it would be a different story. It just didn’t work out. As for strikers, in January we had Itten, roofe, Morelos and sakala. How many centre forwards did u want?

3.) 22 May 2022 21:46:00
We never broke our wage structure for goldosn but did for Ramsey that’s definitely not right.

4.) 23 May 2022 00:15:49
Tango, media talk, ramsey was a freeby, if we had wanted him he would have cost us 5 million, writting in contract.

5.) 23 May 2022 01:56:05
No we didn't Tango, Juventus covered the majority if not all his wages.

6.) 23 May 2022 08:15:20
How can u break wage structure for a freebie.

7.) 23 May 2022 12:46:04
Alloa Ger good post

Amorelos the 5 million is a condition juventus wanted including in deal, if we qualified for CL we had to sign him for that fee.
However, the deal nearly stalled that day as Wilson refused to agree to it. He stated player had to prove his fitness. The deal was eventually done late that night with Wilson getting his way.
Regarding loan fee, wages, conditions of dealthis was reported in Italy financial market as is normal to cut down on fraud, ffp rules.

Hi Ed, just a wee message, I hope Aston Villa and Liverpool win today thus earning Liverpool the league. I'm also a fan of Liverpool. All the best.

If that were me, I'd be playing in the English premiership amongst the best players. Testing myself and pushing myself to the limit, with a better chance of showing my talents and earning an even bigger move. Oh and earning a lot lot more than I would in Scotland.

Cooper- why would he go to Forest? He'll be playing in the English premiership and will probably double his wages. What's not to like?

Winks- no thanks, another for the treatment table perhaps. We need another Morelos, Kamara, Aribo. Cheap purchases with a decent sell on value. Also players who are young and fit would help.

I will admit, I was one who always said Ferguson is not good for Rangers. However I may be coming round to the idea of him at Rangers. Maybe with better players around him he may become decent. Still young with plenty of time to improve.

SirWalter, I posted earlier regarding Morelos but it hasn't came through yet. I did here that he is enjoying life at Rangers and is keen to sign a new contract. I hope this indeed is true. Guess time will tell.
