Made bid for guy from Swansea been knocked back my god where scraping bottom of barrow if that's standard of player where after between him, guy from Norwich, Everton after beale saying we will be excited by players he's bringing in I'm not excited one bit 3 player not wanted by there own clubs because there not good enough so disappointed my choice would be Nisbet, raskin, a new CB and right winger but I'm afraid we will be all left disappointed with incoming.

We have to hope these guys can find form again in Cantwell case and hope that Whittaker is a gem, reading comments made by Plymouth fans he has been tremendous for them. Bare in mind the lad O Riley went to them from MK Dons, there is players in the lower leagues that just need a break and to play in a style that suits them.

I have seen him on a few occasions and he did look good. But can’t say he will be a success or not up here.

Scraping the bottom of the barrel? We’re not in a position to sign ready made players from premier league teams. Did Leicester scrape the bottom of the barrel signing Vardy or kante or mahrez? Did Celtic scrape bottom of barrel signing O’Reilly? As someone said there are gems in the lower leagues. We’ve signed Matondo from Schalke which has absolutely failed. We’ve signed Ramsey from Juve which failed, we’ve signed all sorts of players from differnet levels, some work some don’t. I believe Beale will make sure as much as he can that the players he brings in are mentally ready to play at this club. The guy has been the best player in league 1 by all accounts this season, a league which is probably on a par to the SPL. He’s young and a left footed winger, 6’3 I think I read so a big physical boy, let’s give him a chance if he does come.

Aribo, Kent, Kamara, Bassey. there are no doubt more to mention, but these players came in from a lower level, wee teams or youth teams and have been a massive success. Let's just get the boys in that Beale has faith in and see how they go before getting overexcited or too underwhelmed.

John as far as I can see from MB pressers, we are only bringing players in who will be starters rather than squad players.
The only players mentioned in the media from EPL that we have been linked with are Cantwell, and Onomah ( Fulham), and a multitude of players from abroad.
I see we have submitted a bid for Whittaker who can play along the front 3,but currently Sakala is in a rich vein of form.
Patience is required with 14 days left of the Transfer window but are we even close to bringing any players into the club?

We have had to play Saturday-midweek since start of season, so let’s wait till Celtic have got to do that. Things will start to even out with injuries cause they have rested up most weeks between games. This will be hard game on Saturday but we have players who can hurt them also.
