Right lads let's put pressure on ourselves we r all up for transfer the options r the old firm playing in Europe every season or there is 4 clubs in Premiership in England in the bottom 6 offering mega money who would you go to ( a wee bit of fun )

Breakthrough at rangers and hopefully be successful, leave at 22/ 23 for a decent fee. Line my pockets in England then come back up the road but at 29/ 30 and not when I'm past it and looking for a contract because no one else will touch me.

2.) 01 Sep 2020 20:50:03
Snell 👏👏.

3.) 01 Sep 2020 21:08:57
I would honestly play for rangers my whole career on 1k a week do my coaching badges and become a coach at the club with loads of nedaks and be the proudest man alive and reasonably wealthy don't know if could keep must cool in old firm environment tho lol.

4.) 01 Sep 2020 21:43:38
Think any rangers fan would be happy to stay at the club there full career if not pushed out the door like Alan hutton was. If your getting the chance to play in EPL it means your a top player for thr club so likely be on 20/ 30k a week anyway.

5.) 02 Sep 2020 10:17:29
My heart says stay at Rangers as long as possible.

My head says you will become a better player in the EPL playing some of the best players in the world rather than going to play on a plastic pitch with the opposition parked behind a bus. Not to mention the money.

6.) 02 Sep 2020 14:13:04
Rangers fanatic since I first stood up 56 years ago, in my 25 years of football in lower leagues I knew and consider friends who had great opportunities to leave and earn great money down south, many stayed there and now work either still in the game or at something else, a few like my old mate Robert Fleck had a great career there, but the nagging reality that if it happened to me and I was lucky enough to play with my club, I would leave probably never to return and give up would break my heart, but money and lots of money talks.

I think we can see what McCoist meant yesterday by saying you need your striker inside the penalty area when attacking Edouard first goal 4yds 2nd 8yds 3rd 8 yds.

1.) 03 Aug 2020 15:53:39
They play a different system and what Sally knows about tactics you could write on a worm's baws.

2.) 03 Aug 2020 16:08:23
I agree a striker will only score if he’s in the box, Gerrard said he asked Morelos to drop deep and overload the midfield which he did pulling the Aberdeen defence with him allowing for his great through ball for Kent, my problem is we don’t create enough I don’t think Alphie had one chance the whole game, we need more class players that bench wasn’t up to much we need a striker or even two depends on Alphie transfer another midfielder the squad isn’t deep enough a suspension or injury and we’re struggling.

3.) 03 Aug 2020 16:39:26
He asked Alfredo to drop deep because he hasn't got the fitness or speed to press this season. Get rid.

4.) 03 Aug 2020 17:17:27
If he wasn’t fit enough to stay up and press he wouldn’t be fit enough to track back or drop off into midfield to get involved. Just more negativity.

5.) 03 Aug 2020 17:20:14
If fredo stayed in the box against Aberdeen he still wouldn’t have scored because he had one chance inside the box and scuffed it.

6.) 03 Aug 2020 17:30:01
Scuffed it that should be made into a post winter break biography of Morelos, best seller 😂😂😂.

7.) 03 Aug 2020 17:30:32
Sorry but I'm stealing the line about a worms baws 🤣🤣.

8.) 03 Aug 2020 17:53:57
Twacoos is bang on the money as it was a tactical ploy by gerrard to have alfredo coming deep to draw the 2 aberdeen clodhoppers of centre halfs out, which in turn would allow kent as it happened for our goal, to run into the space. So for everyone saying morelos was playing too deep it was because gerrard told him to which is how we got our goal👌👍.

9.) 03 Aug 2020 18:06:40
I think Gerrard is trying to have a front 3 like Liverpool, they are like the red arrows going forward and they interchange positions, each of them contributes goals and assists, it basically means that the team doesn't rely too much on one player getting the goals. which in fairness was our problem last season, we were relying too much in Alfie, now if you analyse his games so far this season he is dragging defenders all over the place and trying to set up chances for Kent, hagi, aribo etc, it can only be a good thing,

10.) 03 Aug 2020 18:21:23
Covanenter, is that the same Mccoist that was one of the best strikers ever to play for The Rangers you are talking about or a different one?

11.) 03 Aug 2020 18:54:50
JyF yeah that mccoist who was probably the worst manager this club has ever had!

05 Jan 2018 13:48:45
feel sorry for the guy last week that reassured everybody that Murphy was a tim supporter because he knew a close pal who knew Murphy well, but hey we all make they mistakes don't we, gave us a laugh though.

24 Jan 2017 11:59:40
if by some miracle we were to be left £20 million quid, would the fans trust W W with the cash to buy better players, as he has generally worked and brought in players from lower leagues, would he know who to buy etc.

Blacknessgaffer

1.) 24 Jan 2017 14:49:52
I would let him have his chance I think he could be a great manager with money in the transfer kitty

2.) 24 Jan 2017 16:04:42
Without a doubt. I have full confidence in him and davie

3.) 24 Jan 2017 20:22:06
I think Warburton has what it takes to be a successful manager but we don't currently have the cash it would take to mount a serious challenge. One criticism of the manager is that the majority of signings have a previous connection to him. Having said that, that is the markets we are shopping in. Any manager could be instantly better with a few million to splash. Davie Weir however could have made a bigger impact in my opinion. Considering his quality as a player our defence should be rock solid.

4.) 24 Jan 2017 22:05:59
No I wouldn't trust him as I think his signings by in late have been poor. He has had far more to spend that Aberdeen or Hearts yet I don't see much difference between the teams. To me it comes down to this. If fans are happy to be forever we'll behind Celtic and to be scrapping with Aberdeen and Hearts for 2nd place with the odd cup win thrown in the MW will do if however we ever want to challenge for the title then we need investmebt and a new manager

5.) 24 Jan 2017 21:45:45
Yip, mark warburton with a decent amount of money to spend would do very well indeed, imo. He'd prove that just like i think he is anyway, he's a good manager! He's rebuilding a legendary institution here guys! Be patient, get behind the guy and give the guy a break!

17 Jan 2017 11:56:03
I think we should take heed of an article in the paper last week where one of Fergus McCans financial men, he suggested the only way Rangers can improve is to settle the fued between King and Ashley with maybe King having to resign from the chair, this would allow a new deal between Rangers AND SPORT DIRECT, he also said it could maybe let them invite a new chairman, and he suggested money man Kennedy, this is from some one who has helped rescue another big Glasgow club who were about to fold

Blacknessgaffer

1.) 17 Jan 2017 13:23:13
Not a bad suggestion but it looks as though the fued is way beyond any kind of compromise

2.) 17 Jan 2017 14:47:04
A good call, Kennedy would be an interesting choice. Unfortunately I tend to agree with Stewie25 that this is no longer about Rangers and Sports Direct. This is a personal battle between King and Ashley. Would Ashley see it as a victory if King resigned as part of a satisfactory solution for Rangers in the deal, if he was willing to negotiate then I suspect yes. Would King agree to step down for the good of the Club. I will leave that to others to decide.

At least he might come out of it as some kind of Martyr!

3.) 17 Jan 2017 15:21:04
I think Ashley would accept kings resignation from the board and then continue to screw the club for every penny he can get. Just the kind of man he he is in my opinion.

4.) 17 Jan 2017 15:41:06
Camoo

Would totally agree about Ashley this man has been shown to be contemptible and has treated his employees with contempt. His work practices are disgraceful and he is only interested in lining his own pockets. This man who quite happily go back to the days of slavery to fatten his wallet. Truly horrible individual

5.) 17 Jan 2017 18:12:08
stewie25. best reply of the day could not have put it better myself about fatty, he has no scruples, a bottom feeder

6.) 17 Jan 2017 17:48:03
Yes stewie25, your right mate this feud is way beyond repair! Its our club that's suffering because of this personal dave king V mike ashley row, with none of them prepared to back down. Blacknessgaffer's original post is bang on the money! We may need to put the club first, which should always be the case anyway, by changing dave king as chairman if this is going to help our club in the long run! IMO brian kennedy would be a fantastic choice to possibly replace king as chairman. He's got a terrific business head on him, and a bit of dough of course! Then we may have the chance to negotiate a much better deal, for rangers, with sports direct and puma! It may be the only way otherwise we're left in limbo with this deal for another 5 years yet!

7.) 17 Jan 2017 16:52:54
Green made that deal with Ashley and king is the guy trying to get us out of this deal which is way too lucrative for Ashley say to anyone aye okay just rip it up and start with one that won't make me as much money.

he is trying to get us out of that deal with the Ashley for the benefit of rangers and himself in the long run. he will invest in the team just not while the Ashley is about and its Ashley that is making us shop in these lower leagues and on loan players not king and co.

king and co were the ones to save this club and are still trying to get rid of all the bad stuff that was left behind by the old regime. what do you think?

Sad to read the comments on Ferguson tv didn't show his early life the man bleeds Govan he lived 15 mins from Ibrox and his local team was GLASGOW RANGERS HE WOULD BE THE FIRST TO tell you he wasn't Rangers class as in those days Rangers struggled for strikers and as he was scoring goals the daily record promoted Rangers to sign him and speaking to his Gers team mates he spent most of the games against Celtic trying to impress his mates on the retracing by kicking any Celt that came near him for God's sake his first house in Manchester was called Fairfields after the Govan shipyard he once told his wife an ambition was to build a Bungalow in Govan Road when he turned down Rangers for management he was second choice to McLean of Dundee United but they were of the new generation of managers who had total control instead of the board deciding who played and as for hisbgreavence of not getting a game even in the reserves came from a guy Allison who thought that anything to do with catholicsvwas a no no we still have morons like that in our great club but I can assure you Ferguson is as true a blue as anybody I know I have eve seen a charachature of him with the champions league cup but if you look closely he is wearing a staff Rangers tie.
