I've only ever posted 3 times. I am 62, and been a season ticket holder in the sandy Jardine front in the same seat for over 40 years. I am not having a go at Dougie park, etc who came in and saved the club. My point is, they no longer have the funds to take the club forward, so must move aside. As far as my info goes, I currently work for sandy easdale, but my info does not come from him. The easdales were hung out to dry by Mike Ashley, etc. They will do their best for Rangers going forward given the chance.
1.) 18 Apr 2025 16:32:18
Give it up mate good grief.
2.) 18 Apr 2025 16:32:49
Cheers BB43 all info is good info?.
3.) 18 Apr 2025 16:37:18
You make me laugh ?.
4.) 18 apr 2025 16:45:14
i believe you are correct my man.
5.) 18 Apr 2025 17:41:15
Correct BB43.
6.) 18 Apr 2025 18:25:38
I believe that they always had the best intentions for the club and they just happened to be like 2 little penguins well out their depth in a shark tank with Ashley being a great white. They knew zilch about running a football club and Ashley took full advantage of that screwing us for millions. As for the hatred for them then i think that stems from their background as they are not exactly upstanding pillars of the community. A pair of shady B@st@rd$ would be a better description.
7.) 18 Apr 2025 18:39:12
White horse how's it going mate regarding the info you posted the other day mate about the high profile people from the 49ers staying at loch lomond and that the terms of the handover would be complete today do you know if that came to fruition.
8.) 18 Apr 2025 18:46:40
OMG I am 62 and sit in the front of the Sandy Jardine stand as well. I have just realised that I might be you Bear. just to check do you have grey hair and the same vacant look I have ?. Old age means I might be posting as you as well as me ??.
9.) 18 Apr 2025 19:02:50
Nah your Star or Hyperbangus, he's Angus???.
10.) 18 Apr 2025 19:21:06
You are not having a go at Douglas Park but your original post said " they had run the club into the ground" while defending the two guys who were complicit in actually running the club into the ground. I think we have now found out the key part of your posts " I work for Sandy Easdale ", what as, his Press Agent.
11.) 18 Apr 2025 22:08:09
Thanks Fork/ spork I got confused for a while there ?.
12.) 18 Apr 2025 22:52:17
Listen mate I jumped on you yesterday that's apparently what I do. Keep posting.
13.) 18 Apr 2025 23:07:34
BB43 and hyperbang are both of you bald wear specs and a tad plump and good looking? As there seems to be plenty of supporters of that make up in the Govan. I wouldn't be allowed into the Govan as i'm not plump enough and good looking enough to be accepted although i'm bald and specy and built like a racing snake and on the uglier side of the spectrum which enables me access to the Main stand.
14.) 18 apr 2025 23:26:36
many people work fir sandy easdale, in fact he supplies employment ti the entire inverclyde area
you seem to ha ve a lot to say about people you don't know wsl, I've always liked yiu as a poster but your letting yourself down here, you don't know these guys
they tried to help, it didn't work
they are still Rangers fans, and were a long long wayfrom being " complicit in running the club into the ground"
try beginning, a5 david murray"
and ending a5 david murray.
15.) 19 Apr 2025 07:52:50
Three cheers ??? built like a barlinnie skinnie, specky and bald but Nobody can take your humour off you.
16.) 19 Apr 2025 10:05:11
3 cheers out of those criteria I wear specs but not all the time. However this is the first I have heard that the ground is split into physical characteristics. I wondered why no-one looked like me. I will be more careful at ST renewal this year ?.
17.) 19 Apr 2025 11:00:11
Never heard anyone over 50 call it the Sandy Jardine stand, the Govan stand is imprinted in our memory even with how much we loved and appreciated the late Sandy.
18.) 19 Apr 2025 12:43:53
These Timmy supporters really need to look up what a qualifying statement is in respect to lying.
So transparent.
19.) 19 Apr 2025 13:39:38
TT, I'm not letting myself down at all over this . I never said that I knew the Easdales and I'm sure lots of people drive buses for them and that doesn't interest me . What I don't forget and you seem to, is that they were deeply involved with Ashley and his group of Charlatans.
They were the Rangers supporters who were in a position to stand up against what they were doing, with all the dodgy Sports Direct and other deals but they did nothing so they were complicit.
If you think our problems begin and end with David Murray you are forgetting a large piece of our history and names like Craig Whyte, Charles Green and Mike Ashley. Yes David Murray is partially to blame, but it wasn't him that refused to pay a tax bill and threw us into administration.
I don't care what you think of my posts a, I won't forget their involvement like you seem to want to, they left the club in a lot worse state than Parks and co have it now and by the way we probably wouldn't have a club if they didn't wrestle away from Ashley and the Easdales .
20.) 19 apr 2025 20:04:00
coopers, itl always be the centenary stand to me and many of my age bro
wsl, they ate business people
do you think they believed what the6 got involved in was to destroy the club they love?
or do you think they believed it was a business decision designed to help Rangers compete again?
you don't know what they believed d9 you?
and not one of those people ever involved in Rangers except for one decision by one man
david murray.
17 Apr 2025 15:55:15
Sandy Easdale is a massive Rangers fan, I'm not even going to argue with anyone over that. He has been going to watch Rangers home and abroad for over 30 years. He knows the club badly needs investment funding, stadium repairs. He knows this. This is why he's been adding to his shares. The Easdales are worth 1.4 billion. The 49ers know this, and have asked sandy to come on board and help save the deal. The current guys running the club, as you all well know, have run us into the ground.
1.) 17 Apr 2025 16:54:56
Wait didn't you just tell us the takeover is in doubt? ? ?.
2.) 17 Apr 2025 16:59:52
What a coincidence this was released this morning in the press and now we have you on here telling us that you have inside info and the takeover is now in doubt don't like calling out posters but I suspect your chatting BS and maybe on the wrong site.
3.) 17 Apr 2025 17:04:04
Jason, seems another worried tim.
4.) 17 Apr 2025 17:08:28
The deal does not need saving and if it did buying 2.5 % of the shares wouldn't save any deal.
5.) 17 Apr 2025 17:09:10
The club badly needed funding and stadium repairs etc when he was in cahoots with Ashley n co before.
6.) 17 Apr 2025 17:14:47
And if they down buy Easdale's shares rather than just invite him into the deal then his shares won't allow them to get closer to the 51%. try harder and also down post 2 contrary posts right next to one another. and tell your alter ego Mossblown bear he/ you need to try harder as well.
7.) 17 Apr 2025 18:03:22
A smell rubbish.
8.) 17 Apr 2025 18:39:22
Unbelievable that somebody comes on here and praises Easdale and accuses the current board of running the club into the ground . They may have run out of cash to invest but let's not forget that the current owners rescued the club from the previous ownership who were selling off all the family silver . The previous ownership included the Easdales and their pal Ashley who really were running the club into the ground . If they really are such big Rangers fans then why did they allow the club to get into such a state under their stewardship . They should sell their shares to the Americans and stay away from Ibrox. Nobody wants them anywhere near the club.
9.) 17 Apr 2025 18:55:32
Jack Irvine has been busy today.
10.) 17 Apr 2025 19:37:03
So do the people of Birmingham East Belfast.
11.) 17 apr 2025 20:13:34
why should two Rangers fans stay away from ibrox,
12.) 17 Apr 2025 22:15:03
Bring in the army jfm.
13.) 17 Apr 2025 22:22:47
Sandy easdale one of the people who introduced mile Ashley to Rangers Aye! Bollocks! Easdales only want £ and nothing else.
14.) 18 apr 2025 00:25:41
far as i'm aware, and i have it on good authority the easdales didn't take a penny peice out of Rangers and have been fans all their lives
they hated now too, by people who didn't put a penny peice in.
15.) 18 Apr 2025 04:08:29
Correct Tom. Seems some fans are reading bs gossip in papers or online press as I've never heard that easdales brought Ashley to rangers. Never.
16.) 18 Apr 2025 04:15:32
In last week we've had slaughter on here
Steven Gerrard
Barry Ferguson
Billy Dodds
Shagger
McCann
The easdales
Dave king

And probably a few more
Rangers
The greatest fans in the world ??.
17.) 18 Apr 2025 07:14:26
You're absolutely spot on TT12 ???.
18.) 18 apr 2025 07:21:49
said it many times stevie, we have an unhealthy disdain for fellow Rangers supporters if they're ex players or guys who put something in.
19.) 18 Apr 2025 09:26:16
Let's not kid ourselves. The Easdales may be fans, but they were complicit to a lot of goings on with Ashley. They seen a chance to get in with the big boys in business and they took it.
TT, a lot of our fan base can be toxic but a some of our Rangers supporting players and benefactors are not good for the club either. People are entitled to opinions.
20.) 18 Apr 2025 09:31:18
Also to add to that pieter if your unfortunate enough to come from the same area as them you would know what shady characters they really are started from organised crime and still in and about it to this day would rather they are no where near our club personally.
21.) 18 Apr 2025 10:39:11
I'm curious to ask. Why would the tims be worried about our takeover?
A takeover does not guarentee success. With FFP rules we can't just throw money at it and the tims have champions league money again next season to out muscle any of our spending. I don't think they are worried, maybe being a bit mischievous. I'm surprised people are actually rising to their bait.
22.) 18 Apr 2025 11:38:31
Dgers 87 if this takeover goes ahead which looks very likely you can spend 70% of your income, our income was 88 million which roughly equates to 64.million, I'm in no way saying this amount will happen, also we have made approximately 12.4 million from Europe, the other lot yes do have champions league cash, but they also have damages to pay for the recent court case, also I'm sure the court costs for both sides as Thompsons proved there case, that won't be cheap, I think it all depends on who we retain in the summer as to how much we spend on transfers, personally I'd keep both keepers, souttar Tav raskin cerney dessers Igname 50-50 on diamonde yilmaz, jefte sell barahmi sell, mcausland sell Cortez sell if possible Barron sell, rice one for the future, in that scenario I think we need to be spending 25-35 million, will it happen?
23.) 18 Apr 2025 13:10:33
Whether the Easdales brought Ashley to the club or not, it is undeniable that they were part of the set up when he was asset stripping the club . Remember the deal to sell our badge for a £1.When the current board and King stepped in and saved the club, we had no saleable assets on the pitch and were tied into all sorts of sponsorship deals that were contributing almost nothing to us and it took us years to get free of . Real Rangers men would not have stood for this never mind been complicit as they were .
If they are supporters still then that's fine let them buy their season tickets and come and watch us anytime they want although I thought they had put money into Morton, so shouldn't they be supporting them.
24.) 18 Apr 2025 13:13:13
We won't spend £20m in the summer witeshark nevermind the 70% of our income. If anything it might just get us a step closer to financial parity with Celtic but even with the takeover we still have a bit to go to achieve parity.
Its another summer rebuild with a another manager, instant success is far from guarenteed. As I said I don't think they are worried just yet. I think they are at wind up.
25.) 18 Apr 2025 13:24:08
Dgers these new owners will bring in plenty funds through sponsorship and other means, this is what they are very good at, pre season games in USA with bring is serious cash for us, they will want us being successful as fast as possible.
26.) 18 Apr 2025 14:13:40
I know they want to be successful quickly, that's obvious. It means access to Champions League money. However spending big money does not guarentee success. Just look at our spending since 55, around £50m spent on players without success. We have to change how we identify players. We also have to ensure that we get the next manager right. There is a lot more to success than just income. Admittedly a greater income helps.
27.) 18 Apr 2025 14:45:21
That was my reason for tims being concerned coldo.
28.) 18 apr 2025 16:49:24
so, because they donated money to they're local, very small club, they should stop being Rangers fans l
aye right, utter drivel,
have you evidence of anything you accuse these people of?
29.) 18 apr 2025 16:51:23
wsl, are you actually " allowing them to come and watch us "
probably both been to more Rangers games than you and deserve better seeing as you don't know them eh
i don't know them well at all, i do know they've always been big Rangers people.
30.) 18 Apr 2025 16:59:31
If your question is to me tomthumb if your from inverclyde then you will know what they're all about isn't really a secret if you want to know more, then a bit of re search and you will find out this thread is about Rangers so that's what I will keep it about.
31.) 18 Apr 2025 17:12:04
Am I not right in saying they need to play qualifiers for champions league next season? So they won't be guaranteed the money, will be a nervy qualifier for them and as always there are decent quality teams in the final qualifiers.
32.) 18 Apr 2025 18:53:57
They do Stu; they need to play one and we need to play 2 (I Think) . if Celtic lose they enter EL league phase and if we lose we would need to play qualifier (s) to get onto league phase of EL. not 100% sure of exact part if this yet.
33.) 18 apr 2025 23:30:32
please tell m3 how a " benefactor" isn't good.
17 Apr 2025 15:38:55
Hi guys. The takeover is now in major doubt. Douglas park, is now gone back on his word, and is only prepared to sell just under half his shares. As someone rightly pointed out club 1872 asked for certain demands and meetings, which was never going to happen. The 49ers will 100% not entairtain anything under full control 51%.
The current shareholders have no funds to make badly needed stadium repairs, which are desperately needed, let aline invest in players to challenge celtic. If the takeover falls through we will face years, if not decades of being in the shadows. So guys ask yourself this. why would shareholders who know the can't and don't have the funds to take the club they say the love forward, sell up to people who can. This includes club 1872.
Some of the shareholders are on a ego trip. they have so much disregard and disrespect for other shareholders, that they won't do what is correct. Why keep your shares, if you can't move our club forward. I've only posted on here twice. Sandy easdale now has 3% he agrees that Douglas park etc, don't have the funds to take Rangers forward, and he is willing to help the 49ers get to the 51% they require.
But without the parks it's near on impossible. If it does go pear shape and the 49ers pull out, and we as a club are sitting next season 20 points behind in the table, because we have no money to buy players, I hope all the fans remember the shareholders who refused for whatever reason not to sell, are questioned.
1.) 17 Apr 2025 15:49:36
Blue, parks own 12% so do not need their shares 88% still available so let's all relax.
Re easdale buying 4 million shares this is actually his shares which were frozen by court and were returned to him.
Fruit bear, 1872 shares have no bearing on takeover.
2.) 17 Apr 2025 15:58:41
Bollocks ….
3.) 17 Apr 2025 16:03:21
I can see it coming out in the next few days/ weeks.
4.) 17 Apr 2025 15:48:58
Ok mate i believe you.
5.) 17 Apr 2025 16:09:00
This is terrible news if true and you certainly won't change Dougie Parks mind, that's for sure?.
6.) 17 Apr 2025 16:16:18
Hi bear, not having a go mate, naw even in the slightest but I've read Asathor and John etc recent posts and they seem to be very knowledgeable individuals which are contrary views from the one you've just posted. where is your information from? Is your information from a "source" i.e. an individual close to the deal? Or is it from a website? Genuinely curious bud.
7.) 17 Apr 2025 16:17:08
Totally expected a post like this after this morning's posts.
8.) 17 Apr 2025 16:19:32
?? yes yes.
9.) 17 Apr 2025 16:20:17
I wonder if anyone will bite blue bear 43?
10.) 17 Apr 2025 16:26:59
Douglas has already sold his shares, mate. Good post though.
11.) 17 Apr 2025 16:46:58
If this is true I'll be gutted ?.
12.) 17 Apr 2025 16:51:50
Nice try, amazing the fear that it's putting into them.
13.) 17 Apr 2025 16:51:58
Blue bear, what source, what is their background. How would they know this info. Not having a go but looking for context. ?.
14.) 17 Apr 2025 17:03:27
Park agreed in Principle that's all.
15.) 17 Apr 2025 17:07:05
Fully expected posts like this to appear. Some fans are jittery and will jump on anything like this being posted. I believe Asa and John, stories like this in the press over the last two weeks. They ha ent a clue and are just filling their columns with made up garbage.
16.) 17 Apr 2025 17:10:09
Och, is that right? Who does DP think he is? Does he think he's God? Well I'll tell you, he is not the Messiah, he's a very naughty boy if he's "gone back on his word"!
17.) 17 Apr 2025 17:12:00
Stopped reading at badly needed stadium repairs which are desperately needed.
18.) 17 Apr 2025 18:04:13
Utter pish talk.
19.) 17 Apr 2025 18:06:40
Bluebear- utter nonsense !
20.) 17 Apr 2025 18:39:52
Utter pish.
21.) 17 Apr 2025 18:43:42
I would imagine that the 49rs can hoover up enough shares without those belonging to Parks . Rather than include Easdale in the deal, why not just buy out his shares or are they the ones hanging on rather than selling.
22.) 17 Apr 2025 18:55:03
We better all hope for the benefit of our club that this isn't true otherwise our club will be many years in the wilderness, that's putting it mildly ☹️.
23.) 17 Apr 2025 19:22:39
Someone who has just appeared and has 2 posts - I smell a Celtic supporter.
24.) 17 Apr 2025 20:55:05
I know and fgs Rangers fans can't you see that there are new posters who are Celtic fans who are on here. why on earth is anyone believing this absolute rubbish.
25.) 17 Apr 2025 23:25:39
Decent effort Blue Bear, you managed to get a good few bites. More than I expected to be honest.
26.) 18 apr 2025 00:27:25
doesnt look like anyone did believe it.
27.) 18 Apr 2025 12:05:50
I believed him! ?.
28.) 18 Apr 2025 13:14:13
Tom a good few have took the bait.
29.) 18 apr 2025 23:31:53
dsgers, i'm just enjoying the " coldo" stuff
its hilarious.
30.) 19 Apr 2025 12:49:16
The fear from the dark side is real ???.
13 Feb 2025 22:01:04
Hi guys, maybe I can update a little on investment. Jim McColl has absolutely no interest in investing in our club. That ship sailed a few years ago. There are a few guys possibly willing to invest.
Yes Billy walker is one. Another 2 guys, both Scottish one based in dubai, one based in Singapore. Let's deal with Billy walker. He is 78. He owns whiskey bonds, and is a billioare.
He doesn't want to take over our club, but wants a big say in how the club will be run going forward, he publicly stated this. He asked the current board to sit down and have talks with him, they refused.
The other 2 guys have links to Dave King. They have between 50 and 70 million to bring to the table. Likewise, the board and current shareholders, will not even speak with them. I know this for a fact, and am told it's Douglas Park junior, who is the one behind it.
1.) 13 Feb 2025 22:42:28
Interesting.
2.) 13 feb 2025 23:08:43
thanks for your info bear, very interesting
i think something will have to give at some point.
3.) 14 Feb 2025 05:11:20
There's no doubt Graeme Park will be behind a lot of our trouble at board level, Blue bear. ? He's not a liked fella i can tell you and wish somehow we could get this troublemaker out of our club and someone like billy walker in ? This Graeme Park has always been an arrogant troublemaker? living off his father's reputation ? Please somehow can we get him to f. ?.
4.) 14 Feb 2025 07:19:46
I just hope the board saga sorts itself out sooner rather than later, Its not helping our football matters.
5.) 14 Feb 2025 07:31:22
Can anyone advise what the process is to get rid of a board member? Is it a majority vote thing or is it only the ceo/ chairman that can remove them? Surely people must see the hate park gets and realise he's absolutely poison for the club.
6.) 14 Feb 2025 08:35:04
Surely John Halstead must have had some interest in investing heavily at some point otherwise why is he on the board?
7.) 14 Feb 2025 08:35:31
GersGirl - board members are usually in place to represent shareholders, so coordinating a majority vote to remove a board member is pretty difficult as the shareholders with significant shares will all have their representative board members.
I can't see anyone standing down on the board in the near future, so until the pathway is cleared for new investors to buy out existing Shareholders things will continue to stagnate.
8.) 14 Feb 2025 10:12:46
If all other shareholders got together could they even vote out the park? I don't think everyone would go against him right enough.
9.) 14 Feb 2025 10:29:30
Graeme Park has stated that he will veto any investment proposal which has not been brought to the table by them.
10.) 14 Feb 2025 10:30:17
Park Junior always seems to be mentioned ???.
11.) 14 Feb 2025 11:05:09
I'm sure I read somewhere on here somebody said Park JR was a good Celtic man, if that is true he is playing a blinder, causing club to stand still while they go from strength to strength.
12.) 14 Feb 2025 11:05:37
From what I can tell, the main players (at least per the last Companies House info I can see) are (Still) :
1. Douglas Park with (one of the '3 bears') c 12% of shares
2. Stuart Gibson with c 10% (brought in by Geroge Letham)
3. Dave King with c 10%
4. George Taylor with c 7% (another '3 bears')
5. John Bennet with c 7%
6. Julian Wolhardt with c 7%
7. John Halsted with c6%
8. George Letham with c 4% (another '3 bears')
9. Club 1872 with c 5%
10. 'other' various small holdings having c 22%
If the last confirmation statement I looked at was still accurate then that gives Park and close associates a tight hold over the club. So I wouldn't expect to see anyone Park favours (eg his son) being moved on any time soon.
Ultimately these names have sunk A LOT of money in to the club over the last decade (I know the fans have too! ), and without them we'd still have spivs like Ashley having a big say. I might not like/ agree with all the decisions that have been made, but they are the ones that put their money where their mouth was. I also think they have the clubs best interests at heart, even if we don't always see it that way, so I don't think they'll be moving on any time soon (ie I don't see them looking to make a quick buck by selling their stake on for profit - but that's just my view) .
13.) 14 Feb 2025 11:39:25
Stuart Gibson was brought by George Taylor who has about 10%
of the equity.
14.) 14 Feb 2025 11:56:40
Park is a fat useless clown who has never achieved anything in his life, had everything handed to him.
15.) 14 Feb 2025 12:07:53
M MillS ???.
16.) 14 Feb 2025 13:18:43
Yo-jimbo great post.
17.) 15 Feb 2025 00:59:30
